M&L for physical inspection for earthing health and to check the healthiness of earthing system whether the resistance under safe limits Of resistance IF higher than the permissible then recharging of earthing should be done immediately with carbon based low resistivity compound 0.001 ohm meter. Recharging of existing earth pit by excavating soil up to electrode depth approx 10 feet by manual drilling (post hole) method and filling with backfill compound maintenance free earthing compound with 2 bags of 20 kg to achieve desired resistance value less than 1 ohms in and including water up to top of the excavated bore, backfilling of earth pit may be done and measured the value after refilling pit and testing of earthing after recharging, reconnect grounding electrode conductor and earth grid. also apply petroleum jelly etc. to bolted joints to minimize corrosion If the earth pit is of pipe earthing or plate earthing then gel should be used to lower down the resistance complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge. Note: (i) In case of satisfactory results not found or result degraded during one year of recharging of earthing the same shall be made good/recharged again in order to have required test results within contract/Defect liability period without any extra cost to the department. Contd sl item No 1.00: (ii) contractor will mark each earthing with CA No., date of recharging of earthing on MS sheet size 450x300x3mm thick with suitable mounting arrangement on wall or on ground duly painting blue over a coat of Red Oxide primer and letter/figures of words written with white colour and quoted rate shall be deemed to be included for the same aspect. (iii) Record shall be maintained of all the earth pits with the testing date, results of checking and the qty of compound filled on each earthing. Entire physical inspection process shall be carried out alongwith users rep and shall be signed by users rep, Egr-in-charge, contractor and JE concerned and the same shall be kept in record for verifications.

M&L for dismantling of old existing earthing PCC earthing pit with cover and Supply and fixing new polyplastic earth pit cover heavy duty with sign board triangular shape, making connection of earth strip including minor adjustment, construction of rectangular of size 0.75 X0.75x0.50 (L X B X H) brick boundary alongwith necessary plastering work with specified colour coding around poly plastic earth pit cover, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down horizontal/vertical conductor al/copper strip of any size from roof, floor and wall including protection pipe and removing from site complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge.

S&F copper strip of size 32mm x 6 mm with all fixing arrangements such as clamps/MS screws/saddles/PVC gutka/ Brass Nut bolt/Porcelain insulator & washers etc complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge.

S&F copper strip of size 20mm x 3.15 mm with all fixing arrangements such as clamps/MS screws/saddles/ PVC gutka/ Brass Nut bolt/Porcelain insulator & washers etc complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge.

S&F of lightning conductor air termination, single pointed copper rod 12 mm dia and 300 mm long including fixing of MS clamps with nuts & bolts and screws complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge.

S&F of test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25 mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos 8mm dia 25 mm long hexagonal head screw fixed inside cubical shape enclosure made out of CRCA sheet 2.0 mm thick with front detachable cover, anodized fixing screws, cap washers 4 Nos to be mounted on wall with wooden plugs & screws 4 nos, duly painted inside and outside by two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of primer of over all dimension of enclosure 200mm x 150mm x 100mm (depth) complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge.

Testing of earthing Resistance as and when required with digital earth resistance tester etc in presence of user & MES rep and maintaining duly entering test results in the binding register for maintaining the record with Engr-in-charge complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge. Note: (i) Contractor shall carry out within two days of intimation to carry the test as a whole or partially of the building complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge. (ii) Earth testing will be carried out as and when required basis as directed by Engr-in-charge. (iii) Each earthing will be measured and paid separately as and when test was carried out.

M&L for providing Chemical Earthing with copper earth plate 900mmx600mmx5mm thick including accessories and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe etc complete with alternate layer of salt crystal and charcoal and Magnesium sulphate crystal as specified below: (a) The earth pit should be of minimum 12 ft depth and 4 ft width. (b) The copper plate should be of 900x600mm and 5mm thick. (c) The copper strip should be of 32mmx6mm dimension (cross section) up to 7.5 mtr. (d) The quantity used should be:- (i) Charcoal - 250 Kg (ii) Salt crystal - 200 Kg (iii) Magnesium sulphate crystal - 100 Kg

Contd sl item No 9.00: (e) 20mm dia GI pipe of enough length to reach just above copper plate fitted with funnel, meshed along with cap and running water should be provided for keeping the soil wet approx one mtr GI pipe be kept out side for connection of running water. (f) The pit shall be constructed in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 by using using 20mm grade stone aggregate, RCC slab shall be provided in RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 by using 20mm grade stone aggregate, 50 mm thick pit cover reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars 75mm c/o both ways MS handle 12mm dia, PGI funnel wire mesh and GI watering pipe of 20mm bore light grade and earth lead protection pipe up to 7.5 mtr 50 mm bore light grade shall be including the item. (g) Necessary test certificate shall be submitted by contractor from the NABL or CPRI certified labs. Note: The contractor will render a guarantee of 24 years for satisfactory working/effectivness of earthing from the certified date of completion from manufacturer firm/executing agency. The guarantee amount towards effectiveness of earthing equal to 5% of cost of item in BOQ in the form of FDR in favour of GE (AF) Tughlakabad shall be furnished by the contractor. The matured amount after period of 10 years (which is maximum period of FDR) again will be guarantee amount for next 10 years and thereafter i.e. after 20 years matured amount will be guarantee amount for next 04 years. Matured amount after 20 years will be given as guarantee amount for next 04 years to meet cost of inflation for time to time which will be released after satisfactory expiry of guarantee period by the GE.

M&L for earthing complete with copper earth plate 600 x 600 x 3.15mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connected to copper strip of size 25x3.15 mm by means of bolts, nuts check, nuts and washers including charcoal dust common salt including necessary excavation in soft loose soil returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance up to 50 m, PCC pit in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 by using 20mm grade stone aggregate, precast RCC cover shall be provided in RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 by using 20mm grade stone aggregate 40mm thick pit cover reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars 75mm c/c both ways, MS handle 12mm dia, PGI funnel wire mesh and GI watering pipe of 20mm bore light grade and earth lead protection pipe 40mm bore light grade GI pipe for earth lead protection, including earth work complete, all as per Electrical Plate No 3 of SSR Part-I, complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge. Note:- copper strip and protection pipe of 40 mm dia upto 7.5 metre length is deemed included in the rate quoted.

Dehydration of transformer oil, obtained from transformers / voltage stabilizer etc. Dielectric strength shall not be less than 40 KV in 2.5 mm gap electrode after dehydration. Dehydration of transformer shall be carried out by using electrically operated dehydration machine including replacement of unserviceable silica gel and toping up/ replacement of unserviceable transformer oil complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge. Note: Transformer oil for filling/toping up and Silica gel shall be measured and paid against respective item

Supply, filling & topping up of transformer/voltage stabilizer oil of dielectric strength 40 KV and above in transformer at different location in situ (testing of oil shall be carried out in presence of Engr-in-charge by an authorized agency and testing certificate shall be submitted duly signed complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge.

Supply and replacement of Silica gel of superior quality of size 5 to 10 mm complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge.

Balancing the load of LT 415 Volt overhead/underground system of any bldg/feeder/panel board in any location by providing skilled tradesman & helper with necessary safety and working equipment such as clamp meter, high voltage meager tools, safety belts, hand gloves, crimping tool, other required tools and plants and rectified the unbalance load on top priority basis/as and when required including testing complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge.

M&L for painting to the electrical equipments, steel sections, rolling shutters etc with two coats of synthetic enamel paint with machine spray including preparation/ cleaning of the old steel surfaces exceeding 10 cm width complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge.

S&F 3-layer PP-R Polypropylene random copolymer pipes SDR 7.4 (PN-16) UV stabilized and antimicrobial fusion welded'' having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply including all PP-R plain & brass threaded polypropylene random fittings of dia 25 mm for passing of cables to be fixed on pole with MS clamp of flat iron 20 x 3mm with MS bolts, nuts & washers at a distance of 1.5 m including fixing accessories complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge.

Supply, install, testing and commissioning single pole lightening arrestor rated 11 KV for system highest voltage of 12 KV of gapless metal oxide type discharge current 10 KA class distribution complete with all accessories and including necessary connection and fittings all as per IS-3070 Part-III and IEC 1994 including dismantling of existing lightening arrestor complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge.

M&L for Mild steel duct cover of 5mm thick chequered with 10mm dia MS bar lifting handle of required sizes including taking down the old unserviceable MS duct cover etc complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge.

Supply, fix cable jointing kit and testing complete for 11 kv grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 Sqmm to 95 Sqmm complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge. Note: The amount of Rs 50,350.00 against schedule of credit given on Tender Serial Page No 30 shall be deducted from the total amount quoted by the contractor against BOQ while deriving the contract sum for acceptance.
