Surface excavation not exc. 30 cm deep averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/ loose soil, complete all as specified.
NOTE FOR SERIAL ITEM NO.1: Rate Adjustment for every 3 cm or part thereof above or below 15 cm average depth in soft/loose soil shall be priced @ 14 % of quoted rate of contractor against serial item No.1 above.

150 mm thick (spread thickness) soling (or sub base) in one layer with broken boulder or quarried stone of (Granite, Trap, Basalt), interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified.
150 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, in two layers (75 mm thick each layer) with coarse aggregates of Granite, trap or basalt of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified. NOTE:- Each layer shall be rolled and compacted separately.
Preparing surfaces of WBM by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with Air pressure to remove all loose dirt etc & applying evenly a tack coat with paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 @ 10 kg /10 sq.m using mechanical sprayer, complete all as specified.
Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (bitumen of grade VG-30) by weight of total mix using sensor paver with electronic sensing device for automatic levelling and profile control within the specified tolerance and internal heating arrangement for the screed rolled and consolidated to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to a uniform smooth surface etc., complete all as specified.
Preparing black top bituminous surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with Air compressor through air jet to remove all loose dirt etc. & applying evenly a tack coat with paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 @ 5 kg /10 Sq.m using mechanical sprayer, complete all as specified.

Moorum/red bajri, filling in road berms, 100mm thick laid in layers spread, levelled and rammed and consolidated to gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tone power roller including watering, complete all as specified.
Painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc. on roads, pavements and the like 10 to 15 cm wide (as directed) with hot applied retroreflective thermo plastic road marking paint, applied mechanically to form 2mm thick film using road safety spikeries glass beads including preparation of new road surfaces by using special applicator machine, complete all as specified.
Solar road stud 125mm X125mmX25mm made from aluminium alloy and construction powered by mono crystal solar panel with high capacity Ni-Cd rechargeable battery having view distance of 1000 meters, LED-010mm 6 pieces for high brightness, 12 hours of continious lightening at night, complete all as specifed. Dual directional reflective cat eye of size 100mm X 100mm of impact resistance ABS plastic stud having ultraviolet resistance colour with plastic strip containing 31 mini retro reflective glass beads of colour white/red/yellow to each side and fixed with 12mm dia 120mm ong zinc plated steel nails at the centre of cat eye by hammering, complete all as specified. Provision of double legged informatory Sign Boards of size 900mmX 600mm made of 2mm thick Alco bond Sheet fixed on single frame of MS Square conduit of size 35mm x35mm having wall thickness not less than 18 gauge including provision of 50mm square conduit 2.40 m long legs having wall thickness not less than 16 gauge. NOTES FOR SERIAL ITEM NO.30.10: (i) The ACSR conductors shall be conforming to IS-398 (Part-II) and as specified in SSR Part-I. (ii) The unit rate quoted shall also be deemed to include for supply and fixing of binding wire, aluminum tapes etc. which shall not be included in the weight of conductors for payment. (iii) Weight of conductors shall be determined by measuring the horizontal distance between centers of two adjacent poles and compounding the weight of conductors of that size multiplied by length of span and 3% extra shall be added for sag, jointing, jumpers etc. (iv) Weight of the conductors shall be calculated from the nominal weights given in tables in the relevant IS.
GI wire including stretching on LT poles as contineous earth wire or for guarding and cradles including binding as required, complete all as specified. NOTE: - For payment purpose, weight of galvanised wire shall only be considered. Clamps, eye hooks where provided shall be measured and paid for separately
Shackle type insulators, vitreous porcelain white, brown or green for working pressure 1100 volts, grade of 100 mm height and 115 mm dia including galvanized mild steel straps of 31mm x 5mm size,14mm dia insulator bolts, washers and nuts, complete all as specified.
Cross arms, bracings, stiffeners, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel confirming to Fe-290 (Gde E-165) including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, binding cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size, complete all as specified. NOTE : Exposed steel surface shall be treated with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and unexposed surface of steel sections shall be applied one coat of red oxide primer.
Stay assembly complete with accessories as shown in electrical plate No 1 using stay rod 16 mm dia x 1800mm long, stay bow 14mm dia and stay plate 30 cm x 30 cm x 6 mm including stay wire 8 SWG x 7 strands, loop type insulator with over all dimensions 90x140 mm and clearence of hole 25.5mm, stay clamps and painting to exposed surfaces of mild steel work with two coats of aluminum paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified.
