Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5mtr wide and n.exc. 1.5m in depth for foundation etc.or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc n. exc 10 sqm on plan and getting out in soft/loose soil.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5mtr wide and n.exc. 1.5m in depth for foundation etc.or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc n. exc 10 sqm on plan and getting out in hard/dense soil.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5mtr wide and n.exc. 1.5m in depth for foundation etc.or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc n. exc 10 sqm on plan and getting out in soft/disintegrated rock.

Notes for item Nos. 1, 2 & 3:- The contractor shall take utmost pracaution during excavation at the location as directed by GE/ Engr-in-Charge. While carrying out earth work by the contractor, if any damage occurs to LT/HT electric U/G cable, any type of OFC telephone cables, any water supply line or sewage chamber/ sewage line, the contractor shall be liable to repair the same at his own cost within acceptable time limit of occuring of fault with all required appropriate materials as per standard engineer practice and through new appropriate straight through joint of cable (in case of damage to electric cables) and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. The cost of these type of repairs, if any, shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor and no claim whatsoever shall be admitted on this account.

Returning filling in soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25cm.

Removing excavated material exceeding 500 mtr and n. exc 2.5 Km & depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Surplus soil/ spoil shall be disposed of by contractor outside MD land.

M & L Providing cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-1, using 20 mm graded aggregates as in surface channel and drain complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone agg as in coping, on top of wall, bed blocks, lintel band upto 1.5 mtr span and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed by Engr-in-Charge including use of necessary form work.

M & L for pre-cast cement concrete solid block grade C5 masonry exc 10cm width and setting in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:4 on brick/concrete surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement.

S & F MS TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape reqd, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns and binding with mild steel annealed wire of dia not less than 0.9 mm or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed .

S & F MS TMT bars 6 to 8mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape reqd, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns and binding with mild steel annealed wire of dia not less than 0.9 mm or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for MS framed work conforming to grade E-165 (Fe-290) or Fe-310-O of MS angle or other sections, such as grills, gratings with ends of bar shouldered and / or riveted or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; railings and like completed all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Preparing surfaces of steel exceeding 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer.

M & L for precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone agg for cover slab of manholes set in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified & directed. (Note: Reinforcement shall be measured separately under respective item).

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channels 60 cm inner girth in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 using extra cement including forms, moulds mitred / stopped ends etc in manholes (inner girth only measured)

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40mm graded aggregate as in bed to drain pipes including packing under, and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid & tested forming cradles for 600mm RCC hume pipe.

M&L RCC pipes class NP-2 laid and jointed complete with collars bore of pipe 600mm complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 75 mm dia PVC (SWR) pipes, single socketed in any length fixed as spouts in drainage complete all as specified and directed.
