Repairing/Strengthening of Make-up Pump House LT Power Supply System by Laying of Under Ground LT Cables from SMS LT Substation (A1) to Make-up Pump House (MPH) and Replacement of MPH CFS Board/LT Panel Inside Field Gun Factory

Supply, Installation, testing and commissioning (SITC) of LT Cubicle PCC Panel suitable for 440 Volt, 3 Phase & Neutral, 50Hz. Supply. Detail Specification and Scope as per enclosed Annexure-"A".

Supply & Laying of XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 240 sq. Mm, 3&1/2 Core as directed by WIC & EIC. Make: Polycab, Havells, AKG, Universal, Finolex, V-Guard, NICCO. Note: Joint between cable span is not acceptable (from SMS LT Substation A-1 to Make-up Pump House LT Panel) i.e. 04 Run of cables each span length approximately 480 - 500 mtr. shall be laid in a single length without any joint in between the span.

Supply, Installation of Hot Dip G.I. Ladder Type cable trays minimum size: 1000mm (W) x 100 mm (H) x 14 SWG i.e. approx. 2mm (T) with G.I. coupler plates, Bends, Nut-bolts and hardware as per site requiremnt for installation on wall or MS rack at a suitable height as per site requrement and as directed by WIC & EIC.

Material and Labour for making pathway for Cables and Panel entry by removing existing door/window, cutting the wall/floor/MS trench cover, drilling hole in wall as per site requirement and re-fixing of dismantled door/window & making good as per existing arrangement with cement concrete mortar/plaster and whitewash / painting as directed by WIC & EIC. Note: All the demolished and excavated material shall be disposed off with in 500 mtr. distance as directed and complete with making good of all the rough surfaces using cement concrete mortar.

Area Cleaning, dejungaling, trimming of trees, removing of soil bump and scarp materials etc. from the cable route and marking/marking clear path for excavation of cable trench. (Note: The work will be executed inside the factory premises, so that special precaution shall be taken by the contractor for safe guard of existing installations. Any damage during excavation of work will be borne and rectified by the contractor.)

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth; in hard/dense soil for laying of cable complete all as specified. (Note: The work will be executed inside the factory premises, so that the excavation work will be done manually. Any damage during excavation work will be borne and rectified by the contractor.)

Returning, filling in soft/loose soil and hard/dense soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for supply and spreading of ganga sand under floors or in foundations or in trenches for cushoning of cable in layer 10 cm. thick including watering and consolidation.

Material and Labour for brick work i.e laid dry old size brick with sub- class ‘B’ bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius for protection of underground cable.

Material and Labour for supply and laying of reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class class LV, Type 3,flat, size 450mm x 180mmx40mm with required engraving as directed.
