Fixed credit has been given in technical documents which shall be taken into account during acceptance of bid/tender.

Surface dressing both side of road not exceeding 15cm deep in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed for berm dressing.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam suraces in area exceeding 400sq.m, exceeding 50mm and nexc 100mm deep, complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Scarifying material obtained shall be proper seiving and stacking as per diracted.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 30 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen @ 5Kgs/10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8Kgs/10 Sqm blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) Complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates (Granite trap or basalt stone ) of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed

Ditto as above but except material. Note:- WBM shall be done from retrieved material from Item No-02

M&L Preparing Unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc

M&L for Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer(RS-1) at 10 kg per 10 sq metre all as spd and as diracted.

M&L for Premix bituminous macadam (using 4% binder content laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness not less than 75mm) using paving bitumen of grade VG - 30, complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for Preparing Black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc

M&L for Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer(RS-1) at 4 kg per 10 sq metre all as spd and as diracted.

Material & Labour for Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder content by weight of total mix using Paving Bitumen of grade 30 (VG 30) , rolled and compacted, mixed in mechanical hot mixed plant and pre-mixed material laid with mechanical paver, finished including rolling to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to required compaction complete all as specified and as directed. Note: - Semi dense asphaltic bituminous concrete shall be designed as specified and binder content shall be provided as per design mix, contractor shall quote his rates considering the bitumen contents as 5.5%. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted at the rate of Rs. 50.00 per Kilogram of binder but variation on plus side shall not be paid extra. Contractor shall quote accordingly

M&L for 2.5 mm thick painting to road surfaces as in lines, dashes, arrows, zebra cross etc on roads, pavements and like with thermoplastic road marking paint @ 5Kg/Sqm and applying glass grit (BS 6088) @ 300 gram/Sqm over painting surfaces while the painting surfaces are hot by mechanical means including cleaning surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.(Make:- STP/ ASIAN PAINTS/BERGER.) NOTE: Application shall be carried out through mechanical applicances by the approved applicator of the manufacturer of paint.
