Earth work in excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/ wedging out of rock ( where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil setting out true to the required line, grades width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge at site according to the MORTH technical specification clause 301,301.8.1 in association with other clauses.The cost of all useful material such as stones , shingles and aggregates received from the excavation shall be recovered from the contractor All the surplus material shall be disposed off by the contractor at approved dumping locations , to be identified by him at his own level and as per EMP guidelines and approval/ instruction of the Engineer without any additional cost. Any loss to the public / private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases as per regulations and instructions of Engineer-in-charge including carriage/disposal of surplus materials within all leads and lifts . The rates are inclusive octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Govt from time to time. A recovery of useful stone for 299.00 cubic metre @ 170/- (Rupees one hundred seventy)only per cubic metre shall be done on prorata basis for each running bill for this item.

Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excvation from drain and foundation of other road structures or other sources in layers of suitable thickness not exceeding 200mm ( two hundred millimeter ) spreading to required slope and compacted with three wheel 80-100 KN static/ vibratory road roller to meet the requirements of table 300.2 ofMORTH specifications clasuses 305 to lines, grades, level and cross sections as per drawings or directions of the Engineer-in-charge including preparation of foundation for embankment in all kinds and classification of soils including saturated soil and dewatering/ bailing out of water wherever required including hauling of materials for construction of embankment within all leads and lifts. The rate shall include carriage of machineries, equipment, tools and materials and safety measures, payment of all taxes and other incidentals necessary to complete the work in all respects. Loosening, levelling and compacting original supporting embankment to facilitate placement of first layer of embankment scarified to depth of 300mm ( three hundred fifty millimeter ) below the sub-grade level, watered, graded and compacted in layer to meet requirement of table 300.2 with power Road Roller 8-10 Tonne ( eight –Ten Tonne ) capacity for sub grade construction as per MORTH technical specification 305 including haulage of materials in all leads, lifts and other incidental and as per the entire specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 500 mm (five hundred millimetre), removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned including carriage of material within all leads and lifts including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm (one hundred fifty millimetre) in thickness as perMORTH specification clause 201 and as per the direction of Engineer-in -Charge. Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to the required depth and disposal of scarified material upto all leads and lifts as per MORTH specification clause 305.4.3 by mechnical means as per direction of Engineer-in -Charge . The rates are inclusive octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax , goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Construction of granual sub base/base by providing course well graded material spreading in uniforms layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC and compaction with three wheel 80-100 KN static vibratory roller capacity to achieve the desired of earthen complete as per clause 401 and as per the direction of Engineer-in -Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals .The rates are inclusive octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax , goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.
