Regular spraying of insecticides at residential and non-residential areas under CWS Tadali

Spraying insecticide(s) for controlling mosquitoes and other insects (such as coackroaches etc.) at the following locations under Central Workshop Tadali: (A) CWS Colony, including residential quarters, Guest House, lawns/ gardens, parks, Manoranjan Kendra, Sports Ground, Vidya Vihar, etc.; (B) Administrative Building (G.M. Office), including its building & premises, Security checkpost, Security Office, Time Office, etc; (C) Various buildings at Workshop premises, including all the shops at MB-1 & MB-2, CWS Store, CBM shed, sub-station, etc.; (D) Various buildings at Central Store, including its administrative building, storage sheds, sub-station, security office, etc.; and (E) 33 KV sub-station (near Wani Area G.M. Office) The insecticide(s) is/are to be sprayed at the following places: (a) Inside the buildings – Mosquito hiding/ breeding areas such as corners, toilets/ bathrooms, floor traps, etc. (b) Outside the buildings – Inspection chambers, drains, etc. Note: (i) The above work is to be carried out by the contractor as per the instructions of the department and residents/ incharges of the buildings/ establishments. Frequency of execution of this item shall be once in 15 days. (ii) The contractor is required to get the insecticide(s) & the mix proportion approved by the department, before commencement of work and whenever there is any change proposed by the contractor or directed by the department. (iii) The contractor has to deploy such workers which are trained, experienced, and suitable for the job. Attendance shall be maintained at the designated place by the department. Each worker is required to carry an ID card of some government authority (aadhaar card, voter's card, driver's licence, PAN card, etc.). Each worker shall be equipped with all the safety gear/ accessories required for the job including face masks (washable & re-usable), gum-boots/ safety shoes, gloves (washable & re-usable), etc. (iv) The cost of all the tools/ equipment, safety gear/ accessories, consumables, transportation, etc. shall be borne by the contractor. Only water shall be made available by WCL without any cost to be charged from the contractor.

(iii) The contractor is required to get the insecticide(s) & the mix proportion approved by the department, before commencement of work and whenever there is any change proposed by the contractor or directed by the department. (iii) The contractor has to deploy such workers which are trained, experienced, and suitable for the job. Attendance shall be maintained at the designated place by the department.
