Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description in ground floor not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.50 m wide and not exceeding 1.50 m deep as in foundation etc and getting out in hard/ dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Cement Concrete type C2 1:3:6 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, fillings and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 10 mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:6 on fair faces of brick work/concrete etc finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Preparation of new plastered surfaces and applying three coats of white wash on walls complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repairs Pre-cast PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone agg) cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks exc. 10cm in width and set in cement mortar 1:6 including demolition of old brick work / stone masonry/PCC block built in cement mortar of any description complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L plain cement concrete PCC coping 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone agg) including necessary form work all as specified and directed.

Dismantling structural steel work incl doors, gates etc but excluding framed trusses etc complete all as specified and directed.

S & F MS angle iron Hand rails, fencing posts, flat iron including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts, posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc., flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

S &F in repairs Mild steel screw anchor bolts (machine made) dia of neck 16 to 20mm with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, n exc 5cm long, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs 23-24mm thick PVC jallies CNC machine cut as per the approved pattern and density of jallies 500 kg/m3 design as approved by Engr-in-Charge. The PVC Jallies shall be fixed with the help of screw/nut bolt of suitable size and numbers as decided by the Engr-in-Charge. PVC Jallies shall be fixed to the existing steel frame work after replacing of rusted steel including necessary welding work complete all as specified and as directed. Note: MS steel work will be measured and paid seperately

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for laying of cable, foundation etc, and getting out in soft /loose soil all as specified and directed.

Returning and filling soil in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each layer including spreading leveling watering and well ramming complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus material (soils) to a distance not exc 50 m and deposited where directred at a level not exc 1.50 m above from the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for Spreading ribbed soil in trenches as in cable cushioning all as per IS 1255-1983 and as directed. Note :- Excavated approved soil shall be ribbed by using sieve to separate composite particles etc as per IS and refiiling in trenches before laying of cable 8 CM and 15 CM after laying of cable. This is then gently punned down to a depth of 10 cm above the top of upper most cable (ii) For the purpose of measurement punned thickness only will be considered for paymet.

Material and Labour for well burnt sub class ‘B’ bricks as mechanical protection for under ground LT electric cables laid along with length of the bricks equal to the width of the trench complete all as speified and directed .

Material and labour for Cutting existing road/PCC/Drain for laying of GI or any type of pipe including necessary earth work, excavation exc 600mm depth but not exc 1mtr depth, 800 mm wide including making good existing surface with 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The tenderer shall take into consideration for following points while quoting rate for this item and the unit rate is deemed to be inclusive for :- (i) Earth work and excavation in any type of soil (ii) Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick ,complete all as specified and as directed. (iii) Removing excavated material to out side MD land. (iv) Laying of any type/any bore of pipe in trenches including taking down. Supply of pipe shall be measured and paid separately (v) 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in road to make good existing disturbed surfaces.

Material and labour for Boring of holes under road, pavement hard standings by trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machine including HDPE pipes upto 50 mm dia suitable for 0.4 Mpa working pressure, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixing GI tubing light grade 50 mm dia fixed on walls/pole/ laid in trenches as protection pipe for under ground cable including provisioning of specials and clamps etc complete all as speified and directed.

Material and labour in repair for 4 core 16 Sqmm XLPE insulated heavy duty electric cable with aluminium multi stranded conductor 1100 volts grade served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall sheathed laying in trenches/cable ducts, fixed to wall/pole, etc complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fix in repair weather proof PVC junction box approved by CPRI for street light control box made out of not less than 2mm thick and size 250mm x 200 mm x 105mm (approx) complete with hinged door locking arrangement and consisting of 2 Nos of suitable size cable glands consisting of 01 No. panel mounted connector 4 pole 16 A-1 No, including connecting up with the electrical connections and fixing with clamps etc complete and all as specified and directed.

M&L in repair for PVC sheathed heavy duty power cable 1100 Volts grade copper conductor of size 1.5 Sqmm four Core fixed on pole/ walls including fixing arrangement complete as specified and directed.

Supply, installation,commissioning and testing of factory assembled ,floor mounted ,free standing type tested LT Feeder pillar panels,with canopy ,as per electrical specifications for outdoor installation to be made of IP65 Polycarbonate modular enclosures. The enclosures made of polycrabonate,should be weather vermin proof, anti -acid,anti-corrossive,UV resistance in accordance with IEC 61439-1,fire retardant and self extingushing in accordance with IEC 60695-2-11 ,UL subject 94 for flammability V-0, should pass glow wire test for 960 degree in accoardance with 60695-2-11.Degree of protection against mechanical load should be IK08 (5 Joule) in accordance with IEC 62262,IP65 in accordance with IEC-60529 and IEC- 60439-1, should have dielectric properties ,RoHS compliants & Halogen free. (ii) Insulators, bus bar sleeves, lugs, gland etc including complete wiring with suitable size of copper wire are all inclusive in unit quoted rate. (iii) Make of Switch gear : Schneider/L&T/C&S. (iv) MCCB should be ICu =100% ICs. (v) Make of LT Panel/FPB shall be as mentioned in list of makes (PS).

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemical earthing system comprising of 17mm dia copper bonded rod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 Kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducing liquid. The earthing energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be tested as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTM G57-06, CI 3.4 A by any NABL accredited lab. The above mentioned rod shall be installed in 4-6 inch bore, 12 feet depth with a distance of minimum 3 meters between each installation including taking down existing one, complete all as specified and directed.. The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following :- (i) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has to submit to Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection of earthing (not more than 08 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.

(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor along with the sample approval

(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH value should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm shall be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end (copper strip upto 7.5 RM shall be considered in unit quoted rate and extra will be measured and paid separately).

(vii) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concerned.

(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(ix) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(x) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.

(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is maintained.

(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing for each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor from final bill for the guarantee period.

(xiv) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xvii) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

(xviii) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bounded rod to ensure genuineness of material.

(xix) Sign board of mild steel sheet 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing shall be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.

Material and labour for Earth pit cover made of heavy duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene tested and certified by any NABL accredited lab for load bearing capacity not less than 7.2 tonnes with top dia not less than 250mm, bottom dia not less than 330 mm and height not less than 260 mm for each electrode pit complete including taking down old unserviceable pit cover of any decription all as specified and directed. Make : Model SEPC 250 of SAFE TRODE or equivalent in Snaga/ Cubes 6 Global

S&F in repair Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead by providing 20 x 3 mm copper strip fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

Note :- An amount of Rs 1,36,400.00 on account of credit schedule for schedule 'A' part II shall be deducted from the total amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum.
