Taking down/out unserviceable or serviceable UG cables of any cross sectional area and connections including bricks, GI pipes, etc. of any descriptions, laid in trenches and/or fixing with walls/poles including segregating of serviceable materials viz bricks, cables, GI pipes, etc. and keep in safe custody for re-use, complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant Items.

Excavating in trenches not exc. 1.50m wide and not exc. 1.50m in depth, getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 250mm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated materials (soils) not exc. 50.00m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.50m above the starting point in soil complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for XLPE insulated LT cable, heavy duty, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured with stranded aluminium conductor of 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 6 sq.mm 4 core laid in trenches/passing through pipe/on wall, etc. complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Rate of the saddle and clamps as required for fixing of cable on wall is inclusive with the rate.

Note : Necessary excavation, bricks, sand, etc. are to be measured and paid seperetely.

NOTE : For the purpose of payment, punned thickness of sand cushioning shall be considered for measured and shall be paid accordingly.

S&F sub-class 'B' bricks, well burnt, laid breadth-wise along the length of cable laid in trenches over sand cushion laid for UG cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

Laying only old serviceable bricks perpendicular to UG cable over the dry sand cushioning for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Old serviceable bricks obtained from taking out shall be re-used.

Taking down/out unserviceable GI/HDPE pipes of any descriptions, laid in trenches and/or fixing with walls/poles complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F for 50mm dia High density polyethylene pipe (HDPE) of pressure rating 6 kgf/cm2 fixed complete to walls, ceilings or in floors, etc. complete all as specified and as directed .

S&F galvanised iron pipe of size 80mm bore (dia) ‘Light Grade’ for protection of UG cable, laid in floors/road crossing, fixing to pole with mild steel clamps,nuts, bolts, etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Serial item No. 24 here-in-before but of size 50mm bore (dia).

Labour only for horizontal boring for passing protection pipe up to 80mm bore (dia), under road/foot path, not exc. 10.00m in a single length complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Pipe shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for repairing of LT existing panel doors welding, cutting, inches, nuts, bolts, including doors hinges material, cleaning/ dressing of inner and outer part , crimping, replacement of gland, lugs, terminal nuts and bolts, bus bar, MCCB, etc. complete all as required at site. NOTE : (I) Cost of replacement locking arrangement, hinges,T&P item for welding is inclusive in quoted rate. (II) Rate are included for minor excavation around the LT panel for connection of incoming and outgoing cables. (II) Item such as gland, lugs, terminal nuts and bolts, bus bar, MCCB, etc to be measured and paid separately.

M&L for painting of LT panel/feeder pillar any size after cleaning the body surface inner side and outer side by rubbing with emery paper to remove rust, dust, etc. and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F notice board pinup type, soft board core, framed in double-sided carved aluminium section and silver anodized with plastic corners and with necessary hanging arrangement on the wall complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Size of the notice borad shall be ascertained by the Engineer-in-Chrgae as per requirement.

Dismantling of ACSR or AAC conductors complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling concrete poles/struts, any size including demolition of cement concrete (as/if required) and made good to disturbed ground and the pole is deposited to MES Store Yard complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : (I) Unserviceable poles will be dismantled at Ground Level and disturbed ground will made good as directed for which Earthwork, demolition of Cement Concrete, etc. (II) Tools and plant, vehicle for transportation from site to MES Store Yard to be arrange by the contractor and the quoted rate shall be therefore all inclusive. No extra cost shall be paid to the contractor for transportation and labour engaged.

M&L for dismantling cross-arms of MS channel or angle sections, etc. complete and setting aside for re-used of serviceable complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for painting of LT electric pole, steel tubular swaged pole (8.5 meter to 9 meter long) of any size, any pattern with one coat of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer in full length of the pole and marking the pole with black and yellow strip (upto to 1.0m length, 1.0m height of PCC coping) including numbering the pole serially complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for painting of LT electric pole, steel tubular swaged pole 11m height of any size, any pattern with one coat of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer in full length of the pole and marking the pole with black and yellow strip (upto to 1.0m length, 1.0m height of PCC coping) including numbering the pole serially complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying synthetic rubber insulated mats 2mm thick for voltage upto 11 KV for electrical purpose as per IS : 15652-2006 (superseding IS : 5424) suitable for electrical shock safety of sizes 2m x 1m complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for surface dressing/cleaning of various 11 KV Sub Station premises to be free from vegetation of any type including trimming of tree's branches, bushes, creepers, etc. complete all as specefied and as directed. Note : The frequency of surface dressing shall not be less than 2 months between subsequent trimming/ cutting and should not be more than 03 times during full time periodicity of the contract.
