REPAIR/MAINT/RENOVATION OF CHEMICAL/COPPER/GI EARTHING OF POWER TRANSFORMER, DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMER VCBs, LT PANELS, SERVO VOLTAGE STABILIZER, ISOLATION TRANSFORMER AND CONNECTED WORKS AT AF STN CHABUA UNDER GE (AF) CHABUA

M & L for maintenance free chemical earthing system complete with 03 (three) nos copper bonded rods, 17.2 mm dia 3000 mm long electrode buried at suitable distance apart directly in ground, to bore holes of 120 mm dia vertically to a depth not less than 3.60 mtr deep below ground level with top edge of earth electrode at a depth not less than 100 mm below normal ground level, provision of clamps or brazed or both for each copper bonded rods made of copper and copper strip of size 25 x 3 mm & strip connection on the top of the electrode and copper strip of size 25 x 3 mm for inter connection of 03 nos copper bonded rods and laying at least 500 mm below in the ground and further connected to test point terminal block (copper strip and test terminal block shall be measured separately), including back filling of bore holes with advanched earth enhancing compound 96 kilogram (minimum) of Make : Erico or equivalent of Macmet/True Power/Ennov for artificial treatment to soil so as to achieve earth resistance below 01 Ohms as specified in para 19.140 of SSR Part-1 (2009), including provision of earthing pit in PCC(1:3:6) type C1 pre-cast cover RCC slab of size 400 x 400 x 50 mm with one handle made out of 8 mm dia round bar, including necessary earth work and three coats of white wash on plastered surface (exposed surfaces) and testing complete all as directed and including necessary earth work and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note:-Taking down old unservicible dipilated chemical earthing are included in quated rate.

Supply and fix in repair air termination , single pointed aluminium rod 12 mm dia and 300 mm long complete all as specified and directed at site.

Checking of E-N voltage by multi meter or any other suitable device and detecting the cause of increase in EN voltage due to any type of associated faulty earthing/loose connection of switch gears/unbalance load or any other malfunctioning of equipment causing increase in E-N voltage.Replacement/treatment of any type of earthing/tightening of llose connection of switch gears to maintain E-N voltage as per IE rule all as specified and directed at site. Note : (i) Repalcement of any type of earthing conductor will be measured and paid separaterly under relevant items of this schedule. (ii) Earth megger , multi meter or any other device required to measure E-N voltage will be arranged by contractor and cost for the same is included in this item. (iii) Treatment of any type of earthing will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule.

Taking down un segegreagated aluminium/copper/GI strip/conductor of any size including air termination rod of any description from roof/wall including serviceble/broken porcelain insulator complete all as specified and directed

Labour only for refixing of aluminium/copper strip of any type obtained from ser item No 13 here in before on roof /wall with porcelain insulator complete all as specified and directed .

Supply & Fix in repair copper strip of size 32 x 6 mm with saddles with required porcelain insulator fixing screws etc for rrof conductors and down conductors complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fix in repair aluminium strip of size 25 x 3 mm with saddles with required porcelain insulator fixing screws etc for roof conductors and down conductors complete all as specified and directed.
