Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth, and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, using excavated soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed

M&L for sand filling in trenches for cable protection, above and below the cable, punned down in layers, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Punned thickness only shall be measured and paid.

Supply and laying flexible DWC-HDPE pipe of nominal dia 63 mm, conforming to IS 16205, suitable for laying XLPE cables, including drawing of cables through the pipe, making joints, bends and fixing in position, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for taking down carefully old unserviceable underground cable (LT/HT) of any size from trenches, walls or poles, including removal of brick or PCC cable protection covers, setting aside cables for reuse where serviceable, and removing unserviceable cable from site after affording credit, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class LV, type–1, with peak, size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs GI tubing ‘light grade’ 50 mm bore with all fittings, for cable protection, fixed on poles, walls or laid under road crossings, including making good disturbed surfaces/areas, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of LT underground XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, armoured, heavy duty electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, conforming to IS 7098 (Part-I) : 1988, laid in trenches, ducts, floors or fixed on walls with saddles and clamps or passed through pipes, including connections with suitable thimbles, nuts, bolts and washers, complete all as specified and directed, of cross-sectional area of following sizes:-

Testing of LT underground cable for length up to 2000 m for insulation resistance using 5000V / 10000V fault insulation locator tester, identifying and pinpointing fault location for any number of cable faults in a single stretch (from source to load), complete all as specified and directed. Note:- In one stretch, irrespective of the number of faults, the same shall be measured and paid as one job.

S&F Combi space heater with built-in capillary thermostat, 15 Amp, 230V, 100W, adjustable range 25°C to 85°C, size 250×75×38 mm conforming to IS-4165, suitable for LT & HT switchgear panel boards, aluminium-sheathed body with long service life, accurate thermostat, high voltage test at 2 kV for 1 minute, insulation resistance > 10 MΩ, power rating within ±5%, thermostat calibration, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs MCCB, 4-pole, 415 Volts, adjustable type with overload and short-circuit protection, 100 Amps rating, 16 kA breaking capacity, including disconnecting existing incoming/outgoing cable connections, providing and fixing suitable aluminium lugs/ferrules, re-connecting, and making good disturbed surfaces after removal of unserviceable MCCB, complete all as specified and directed

Supply only indicator lamp, LED type ‘RYB’, of existing shape and size, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for taking out ACB, capacity 800 to 3200 Amps, 3-pole, 415 Volts, 125 KA indoor type, from its sub-cubicle and carrying out routine maintenance as per manufacturer’s maintenance manual. The work includes examining moving/isolating contacts for discoloration, cluster contacts, removal of arc chutes, checking SMC mouldings, inspecting main contact silver tips, springs and mechanisms; cleaning all contacts with suitable solvent, applying multipurpose grease, checking and readjusting contact settings if required; testing all tripping devices (manual, under-voltage, shunt trip, over-current, earth fault) and confirming healthy condition; recording IR value with 1.1 kV LT megger; calibrating ground fault/short-circuit/overload relays for tripping and timing, and rendering complete test report, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs overcurrent release unit of Siemens make ACB of rating 1250 Amps, including testing on full load and checking of time–current characteristic (TU) error on display, complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting all electrical connections and taking down old unserviceable LT Air Circuit Breaker (ACB) of any make/description in any position from existing LT Panel and S&F new LT ACB, TPN, 440 Volts, 50 Hz, 1250 Amps capacity, manual draw-out type, provided with overcurrent and fault protection, including installation, testing and commissioning, fixed to existing LT Panel with all necessary fixing arrangements, complete all as specified and directed

All as per Item No.38 above but of capacity 2000 Amps

M&L for cleaning of vegetation around LT panels, feeder pillars, street light panels, compact substations (CSS), substations and 2-pole structures, once in four months, using electric grass cutter, including clearing of pathways to panels for easy access, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of LT panel boards and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade on exposed surfaces, including writing and marking of feeder details, complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and dismantling existing LT distribution panel and M&L for supply, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning of LT feeder panel board of suitable size, outdoor type, double door, totally enclosed, compartmentalised, with extended canopy at top, dust and vermin proof, fabricated from CRCA sheet 3.15 mm thick, mounted on MS angle iron frame 50×50×6 mm with legs not less than 750 mm high, fixed on PCC foundation 150 mm thick (1:3:6) type C-2 with 100 mm offsets; panel with front and back opening, locking arrangement, finished with two coats of powder coated paint of approved shade over one coat of red oxide primer, including fixing one danger notice plate; main aluminium busbar rated 600 Amps TPN, fully insulated with colour-coded heat shrinkable sleeves, complete all as specified and directed with following accessories:- (a) Incoming (i) MCCB, 4 pole, 415 V, 25 KA breaking capacity, adjustable thermal & fixed magnetic release, 400 Amps – 1 No. (ii) Digital type voltmeter and ammeter with suitable CTs, LED indicator lamps (RYB) and connecting accessories. (b) Outgoing (i) MCCB, 3 pole, 415 V, 16 KA breaking capacity, adjustable thermal & fixed magnetic release, 125 Amps – 4 Nos. (ii) MCCB, 3 pole, 415 V, 16 KA breaking capacity, adjustable thermal release, 100 Amps – 3 Nos. (iii) MCB SPN, 40 Amps – 3 Nos.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 mm × 600 mm × 6 mm thick, buried vertically in ground not less than 4.5 m deep, with top edge of plate not less than 3.25 m below normal ground level, connected to galvanized iron strip 32 × 6 mm as earthing lead by means of galvanized bolts, nuts and washers, all as shown on electrical plate No.3 of MES Schedule Part-I, including earth test point, connection to main switchboard/panel, necessary excavation and earthwork in any type of soil, adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for earth pit, MS angle iron frame 40 × 40 × 6 mm with cover, precast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 cover 40 mm thick reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 100 mm c/c both ways, 12 mm dia MS round handle, GI watering pipe 15 mm bore with funnel and wire mesh, and 40 mm dia GI light grade pipe for protection of earthing lead, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Earth strip and its protection pipe up to and including 7.5 m from the top of earth electrode are included in this item. (ii) Additional length of earth strip/protection pipe required at site shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items of Schedule ‘A’.

S&F copper earth strip 32 mm × 6 mm, fixed with saddles, clamps, bolts, nuts, washers or laid in trenches/walls/floors for earthing lead, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for testing of earthing by disconnecting both ends of earth strip/wire and measuring earth resistance with earth resistance testing instrument for LT panels/MDSS panels/DSS panels, and submitting test report to Engineer-in-Charge, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only LT insulating rubber mats of size 1.0 m x 2.0 m and 2 mm thick, complete all as specified and directed
