Design (hydraulically, structurally & aesthetically) of all individual tanks/Pumps/filters of Sewage Treatment Plant from equalization tank to Sludge drying Bed), Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Sewage Treatment Plant based on principle of aerobic attached growth non clogging randomly Moving Bed Bio-reactor (MBBR) having capacity 330 KLD with all civil works for STP from approved OEM with Electrical Panels, AMF Panels, Control Panels, SCADA/PLC monitoring System as integrated part of the STP as per OEM as per approval of E-in-C’s branch including the followings to achieve the desired parameters :- Note : (i) Soft and Hard copies of design to be submitted for approval. THE STP SHALL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWINGS :- 1. 01 No Oil & grease chamber in RCC construction with oil and grease. 2. 01 No Bar screen chamber in RCC construction.( depends upon design of the Plant) It may be Coarse Bar Screen and Fine Bar Screen. 3. 01 No Equalization Tank in RCC construction act as buffer, coarse bubble diffuser to be used. The diffusers should be retrievable. The tank includes the followings :- (i) 01 Lot of Air grid for equalization tank. Air Grid/ array of retrievable diffusers in equalization tank, aeration tank, settling tank as per design. (ii) 02 Nos Air blower ( 1 working + 1 Standby) based on air volume required per hour to deliver the required quantity of air to the equalization tank as well as other aeration tanks it serve. 4. 02 Nos Raw Sewage Lift Pumps (1 x Working + 1 x Standby) (Cap not less than 13.75 Cum per Hr( Pump Shall be operated for 20 Hrs per day) horizontal, Centrifugal, non-clog, Solids handing (NC-SH) Pumps with open impeller. 5. 02 Nos MBBR reactor tank in series in RCC construction with SS Air grid and MBBR media. The tanks in water proof RCC construction designed as water retaining structure. (Diffusers should be retrievable. Each pair of diffuser should be provided with a nylon rope to enable lifting out of the aeration tank for maintenance)(50- 60 Cum per Hr of Air for every Kg of BOD removed). Operating Platform should be provided next to tank, such that all the diffusers installed in the tanks are easily accessible. Note for Item No 8.01 & 8.06 (STP & ETP) :- 1. A set of pipes, valves, by pass line, backwash water line etc are also provided to facilitate operation such as filtration, bypass (during servicing), backwash etc. Pressure gauges are to be provided at the inlet and outlet to monitor the pressure drop across the filter along with pressure gauge on all pumps.(I/P & O/P). 2. Water Meter at the outlet of the ACF to monitor the average daily qty of flow throughout of the STP. 3. (a) Working out Technical details of each components / capacity of ETP i.e. Bar Screen, diffusers, Pumps, blowers, ACF, PSF, Tanks, Electrical cables, Panels to be submitted along with design followed and 3D line diagram of STP in soft and hard copy. (b) All the booklets/papers referred for calculation and design including NFPA 70 & 13 are to be provided in soft and hard copies. (c) Some of the missing details of equipment if any deemed to be included in item which are required for smooth functioning of STP/ETP’s as per established norms of STP’s in India and as per Manual of sewerage and sewerage systems to achieve desired outlet parameters, easy working of operators manning the Plant.

Top room as per zonal specifications and all as specified and shown on drawings complete in all respect having inner diameter 4.50 mtr, invert level 3 mtr, overall depth 6.5 mtr complete.

M&L for construction of brick masonary valves pit of internal dimensions 1000mm x 1000 mm x 1000 mm complete and fabrication of 3.0 mm thick MS Sheet cover and angle iron frame made out of 40mm x 40mm x 6 mm MS angle iron and one side provided with hinge with locking arrangement & duly painted with two coats of black bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide primer including necessary earth work and PCC work complete all as specified and as directed.
S&F of flat submersible cable 3 core multi stranded copper conductor PVC insulated, water proof, ISI marked of size 6 sqmm for connecting from starter to bore well submersible pump sets complete all as specified and as directed. M&L for construction of brick masonary valves pit of internal dimensions 600mm x 600 mm x 600 mm complete and fabrication of 3.0 mm thick MS Sheet cover and angle iron frame made out of 40mm x 40mm x 6 mm MS angle iron and one side provided with hinge with locking arrangement & duly painted with two coats of black bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide primer including necessary earth work and PCC work complete all as specified and as directed.

MANNING, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT (Sch 'A' PART-IX)
Outsourcing of maintenance and service operation of the Sewage Treatment Plant installed at Bengdubi of capacity 330 KLD - 01 No. and ETP 25 KLD - 01 No. including 4500 ltrs per day of waste from Operation Theatre, Laboratory etc and all associated connected accessories at Bengdubi Mil station to keep installation in functional condition in three shifts per day including Sunday and holidays (each shift 8 Hrs) by maintaining desired level of chemicals by dosing of required quantity of chemicals provided in the system, maintenance of log sheet and other periodical maintenance records complete all as specified and directed by the following manpower for a period of 11 x 3 = 33 months = 335 days x 3 Shifts/day x 3 = 3015 Shifts after completion of Phase-I mentioned in Schedule A Notes complete all as specified and directed. Manpower (i) One plant operator cum Attendent (semi-skilled). (ii) One Helper / Cleaner (un-skilled). The Maintenance and Operation mentioned above includes the following :- (i) Operation of raw sewage pump, air blowers, air compressors, centifugal pumps, chemical dosing system control panel etc. (ii) Removing of material arrested at bar screens. (iii) Removing of oil floating at surface. (iv) Change over from one pump to another as on requirement basis daily, to ensure smooth trouble free operationall as directed. (v) Change over from one blower to another blower as on requirement daily, to ensure smooth trouble free operation al as directed. Item continued as 9.02
(vi) Cleaning of air filter of blower regularly on requirement basis as directed (vii) Applying grease to all motors blowers periodically (viii) Draining of sludge from plant reactors once in a month as per requirement less time to avoid chocking of air grid. (ix) Removing of sludge from tube settler depending upon the actual load to ensure smooth operation all as directed. (x) Maintaining of log books for records of operation of plants including cost of stationary. (xi) Washing of tube media with low pressure jet of raw water as per requirement and as directed. (xii) Draining of burnout lubricant oil and refilling of appropriate lubricant oil in Air blower after 2000-2500 hrs of operation as per manufacturer guidelines all as directed. (xiii) Maintaining of log books for records of operation of plants including cost of stationary. (xiv) Anything missed out above but is required to be periodically done as per manufacturer guidelines shall be done by the operators all as directed for efficient operation of STP. (xv) Maintaining desired level of chemicals by dosing of required quantity of chemicals provided in the system. Material / Chemical required for STP / ETP in appropriate quantity i.e. Chlorine (any form) shall be issued under Sch 'B' free for fixing. (B) The quoted rates shall be deemed to include for the following :- a) Maintain and clean the internal and external area of plant. b) Maintain the safety and security measures of the plant. c) Keep the installation neat and tidy. d) After working hours any complaint lodged by the users shall be rectified immediately with confirmation to concerned JE/Engr-in-Charge. e) All tools, equipts and testing devices shall be provided by the contractor all as directed. f) Disposal of treated sewage/sludge as directed by the Engr-in-Charge. NOTE : 1. Material/chemical required for STP in appropriate quantity i.e chlorine (any form) shall be issued under sch "B" as free for fixing. (C) Efficient treatment of the sewage water shall be ensured by the contractor all as directed and required characteristics of outlet treated sewage and monitoring of recycled water quality after tertiary treatment shall be as under :- Ser Parameter Mandatory Water Monitoring No Quality Criteria (i) BOD5 10 mg/ l or less Weekly (ii) TSS < 10 mg/l Weekly (iii) DO 5 mg/l or more Weekly (iv) PH 6.5 - 8.5 Weekly (v) Coli form Nil Daily (Faecal) (vi) Heavy Metals Nil Continuous (vii) Res Chlorine > 1 Mg/l Continuous (viii) Other Parameter As per Sch’A’ Fortnightly Outlet Parameter Item Continued as 9.04
A Laboratory with Testing equipments to monitor the quality of water periodically should be established at the Plant site. For quick testing of ‘coli form count’ COLISCALEASY GEL method shall be used. (D) TESTING OF TREATED WATER :- The treated water shall be got tested by the tenderer once in a fortnight from PHED / Regional Govt. Lab /other Approved lab. Samples shall be collected in the presence of Engr-in-Charge and test reports shall be submitted to Engr-in-Charge in original for record purpose. If parameters of tested water are beyond the limits mentioned above or contractor failed to carryout the required test(s), the penal recovery at double the quoted rates of the contractor for the entire month shall be made from the contractor.
