Comprehensive maintenance of complete STP 02 nos. at Himachal Niwas(650 KLD), Kandhar Line (550 KLD) and Sewage Disposal Plants 02 nos at OGB 32 & Punjab Niwas including pumps, motors, blowers,valves,LT panels,carbon media filter, dual media filter, chemical dosing plants and its accessories complete.Initially with the commencement of contract servicing including replacement of faulty spare parts of all plant equipments along with complete cleaning as a one time precautionary measure and thereafter maintenance and repairs as and when requried to run the plant with full efficiency without break down including Saturday,Sunday and holidays and mechanic with adequate experience should be avaiable to rectify in case any fault observed and all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :(a)The rate quoted against above items are inclusive of cleaning of Non Clog Submersible Pump Sets (1 working + 1 standby) upto 12.5 HP capacity every alternate month (total six times in the contract period) by lifting and lowering each from 02 Nos equalisation tank, 04 No underground sump of sewage disposal / treatment sumps including cleaning of flocculation chamber and tube settler each 02 Nos every alternate month. If the contractor fails to respond a penalty of Rs 500 per day per month will be deducted.(b)The rate quoted against above items are inclusive of repair, reassembling after testing Non Clog Submersible Pump/ Centrifugal Pump Set upto 12.5 HP capacity including lifting and lowering out carefully from underground sump of sewage disposal / treatment sumps by removing cable connection from LT panel.(c)All type of T & P for dismantling, repairing, lifting and lowering arrangement etc at site will be arranged by the contractor and cost of the same deemed to be included in the quoted rate.(d)The rate quoted against above items are inclusive of Motor housing & sleeve repairing on Lathe.(e)The rate quoted against above items are inclusive of all fast moving items and consumables as listed in particular specifications & like grease,topping up of chemicals daily etc, which may be required for smoth functioning of the plants as decided by GE.(f)The rate quoted against above items are inclusive of removal of vegetation growth on sludge bed and nearby areas if any every month.(g)The cost also includes for making stand by arragnment to avoid any type of breakdown by putting standby motor/pumpset serviceable at all time.(h)The above quoted rate shall not include for supply of spares/items which are covered under schedule 'A' Part-III and spares which are not indicated in sch. 'A' Part-III but are required for smooth running of plant shall be deemed to be included in the above quoted rate. GE's decision in this regard shall final and binding. However all labour charges for replacing spares, testing, commissioning transportation etc shall be deemed to be included in the above quoted rates.(j)Any other major spare parts not included in Sch 'A' Part-III which are otherwise urgently required for keeping the plant in serviceable condition shall be measured and paid separately. Decision of GE in this regard shall final and binding.(k)After getting complaint contractor will rectify the fault/ bottleneckness within 24 Hrs and only if rewinding of motor has to be done time to rectify the fault within 72 Hrs. If contractor fail for any reason, a fine of Rs 1500/- per day will be recovered from the contractor.

Cleaning of Under Ground sewage disposal Sump every alternate month (total six times in the contract period) internally as well as externally of capacity upto 10000 gallons after pumping out of residual sewage/ water with opening of choked/jammed suction/delivery all lines of sewage pump in sump well ( size upto 10 mtr dia and 10 mtr depth max) fitted with submersible sewage pumpset of capacity upto 12.5 HP including removing deposit, sand from inside the sump by rodding , air presure or other mechanical means , scrubbing and washing side walls and bottom with bleaching powder solution and making surface free from any fungus/ algae/ vegetation, filling of cavities inside and outside of tank with cement mortar 1:3 mixed with quick settling chemical and applying one coat of white wash inside including top side by rodding. Any other work reqd for cleaning includes elctrician work, plumbing works or mechanical means reqd if any is deemed to be included in quoated rate & writing date of cleaning outside complete all as specified and directed. [Note :-(i) Under Ground Sump include sewage disposal sumps of Punjab Niwas, OGB-32, Himachal Niwas and Kandhar line (ii) All type of T&P including portable non-clog pump for pumping out residual water before cleaning and Labour etc shall be arranged by the contractor and rate for the same deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iii) Contractor will dispose off the material taken out from the installation at a distance upto 50 Mtr as directed by Engr-in-Charge.]

Earthing complete with galvanized steel plate elecrode of size 60 cm x 60cm x 6.0 mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.5 mtr below the ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level. Earth plate surrounded by 15mm thick packed alternative layers of charcoal dust and comman salt, earth lead GI strip 32x6mm by means of bolts , nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron with thimbles. The other end of GI strip is connected to main switch board and protected by light grade GI pipe of 15 mm bore. provision of 20mm bore light grade GI pipe for watering including GI funnel and wire mesh.
