EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY
Item No 16 : S&F , installed & testing of monobloc pumping set, centrifugal discharge of 3.3 litres/sec, electric driven , 3 phase 50Hz, 440V of capacity of 5HP and 45 m head, inclusive of starter and PCC foundation, connection cable, nuts and bolts complete all as specified and directed. Model No KDS-550 of Kirloskar Brothers or equivalent as approved by GE from the list of makes included in the tender.
Item No 17 : S&F , GRP Panel tank of 25000 litre capacity as per the description given below , inclusive of connection with nuts and bolts complete all as specified and directed :- (i) Tensile strength (Mpa)≥60 (ii) Bending strength (Mpa)≥100 (iii) Glass fiber content,%≥25 (iv) Standard panel is typically 1000 x 1000mm, 1000 x 500mm, 1000 x 1500mm. The contractor has to assemble the tank for the required capacity as mentioned above so that the tank can be placed and accomodated on the RCC staging mentioned in Sch 'A' Pt-I. (iv) The bolts, nuts and other fasteners that hold the GRP tank together shall be hot-dip galvanized. (v) The internal and roof bolts shall be of grade 304 stainless steel (vi) The sealant for sealing the joint shall be high density, non-toxic PVC foam (vii) Tank Support/ Skid Base i.e. The beams and framework shall be hot dip-galvanized (viii) Ladder :- The external ladder shal be hot-dip galvanized steel pipe while the internal ladder shall be made of standard 304 stainless steel pipe or hot-dip galvanized steel pipe. Item No 27 : Supply and lay HT UG cable heavy duty XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armored electric power cable for earthed system with aluminium conductor ,11000 volts grade cross sectional are 95 sqmm 3 core conforming to IS 7098 Part II -85 with latest amendements including testing,commissioning in trenches /duct/fixed to wall/pole complete all as specified and directed.
Item No 28 : S&F cable jointing kit for 11 KV grade cable for indoor termination cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE cable 95 Sqmm complete all as specified and as directed.
Item No 29 :- Supply & installation, commissioning and testing, indoor type 500 KVA capacity of transformer step down 11/0.433 KV, copper wound, core type winding, AC supply 3 phase, 4 wire 50 HZ, oil immersed ,naturally cooled, delta connected on primary (HT side) and star connected on secondary (LV side) having tapping 0%, 2.5% ,5%, 7.5% on HV, to be charged by means of hand operated off load tap changing gear including first filling of oil and all standard fittings such as breather unit, drain out valve, conservator tank and mounting, complete all as specified in IS-1180 marked and shall comprise of the following :- Make:- Alstom / Schneider/ BHEL.
(a) HT side(primary) consisting of 03 Nos indoor porcelain bushing with brass rods complete with nuts,bolts and washers complete.
(b) LT side(secondary) consisting of 04 Nos indoor porcelain bushing with brass rods, complete with nuts bolts and washers complete.
(c) Oil conservator tank with filter type drain valve and oil level gauge.
(d) De-hydrating breather with first fill of dehydrating agent(Silica gel)
(e) Explosive vent for release of pressure will be provided on the cover.
(f) Thermometer pocket on tank cover.
(g) Silica gel breather along with conservator tank will be provided.
(h) One No 100 mm dia, dial type thermometer, vapour pressure type, having range (0-120) degree celsuis with metal guard having maximum permissible reading temperature indicator with re-setting device.
(j) Two earthing terminal on tank cover to facilitate fixing of 50x6mm galvanised iron earth strip for earthing of neutral & body.

(A) BATTERY CHARGER :- Automatic float & manual boost charger housed in one common panel/ enclosure power coated. The panel shall be rigid self supporting structure reassembled totally enclosed cubical constructed out of sheet metal of 2 mm thick. The panel shall have hinged doors with adequate cross ventilation on both side as well as on the top, to avoid the rise of temperature. The panel shall be duly painted with chemical finish of synthetic enamel paint light grey internally as well externally. The charger equipment shall employee static semi conductor full wave silicon rectifire suitable for operation in conjunction with air cooled transformer single phase 230 Volts 50 cycles supply. The charger shall be capable of Automatic and manual operation automatic along with associated components for interlocking between the trickle charger shall be as under :- Make - ABB/Electricfield/Siemens/Bandford.

Item No 44 : Supplying, installing, commissioning & testing of Silent engine generating set with accoustic enclosure as per CPCB norms 415 volts 400 kVA 3 phase 0.8 power factor 50 Hz, 1500 RPM self excited self regulated brushless AC generator including accoustic enclosure suitable for ambient condition and conforming to condition under IS 4722, BS 5514/ 2613 /5000 with suitable AMF Panel as per manufacturer's recommendations complete all as specified and directed with the following :- (A) Alternator :- Standard design alternator rated at 400 kVA net output at site after considering de-rating as per site conditions at 0.8 (lag) power factor AC, 3 - phase 4 - wire 415 volts 50 Hz, 1500 RPM, self excited self regulated screen protected drip proof IP 23 enclosure brushless design with winding in pole faces, insulating class 'H' and voltage regulation of +/- 1% at rated voltage from no load to full load. The alternator shall be conforming to BS 2613/5000 and shall be imposition to generate supply with frequency regulation with in +/- 1% tolerance. The alternator will be suitable for tropical climate and shall generally conform to BS - 2613/5000/ IS – 4722.The Alternator shall be:- i) Insulation class - 'H‘ ii) Temperature rise Class - 'H‘ iii) Excitation : Self Excited iv) Regulation performance: The voltage is kept constant with +/- 1%, manual voltage adjustment within +/- 5% v) Frequency regulation +/- 1%
(B) Diesel Engine: - Adequate capacity of Diesel engine as approved by the accepting officer basing on manufacturers technical details water cooled to drive independently above alternator and after considering de-rating as per site conditions after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories directly coupled through flexible coupling multi cylinder multi stroke direct injection, cold starting 1500 RPM, as per relevant ISI/BS - 5514 with an overload capacity of 10% for half an hour in 12 hours continuous running complete with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operation salient features of accessories shall be as under :- i)Fly wheel with housing ii) Cooling system :- Moulded radiator with fan & belts iii) Cooling Water pump : - Centrifugal type belt driven iv) Exhaust System :- Exhaust System complete with exhaust piping of 150mm dia with MS pipe light grade upto & outside and 1meter away from the enclosure, covered with asbestos rope and aluminium foil of 28 SWG complete with in the enclosure for safe exhaust without transforming vibration to the wall of the enclosure. Exhaust gas turbo charger type. (C) CONTROL PANEL :- The standard microprocessor based control panel shall be fabricated out of 3.15mm thick CRCA sheet and powder coated in side and out side and shall display as follows:- (i) Voltage of all Three phases, (ii) Current of all Three phases, (iii) Frequency, (iv) Bus bar Chamber with aluminium busbar of cap 100 Amps - 04 Nos, (v) C.T. 100/5 Amps - 03 Nos. (vi) MCCB TPN, of appropriate capacity - 01 No .
D) Accoustic Enclosure:- Manufactured by OEM suitable for 400 KVA DG Set (i) NAL approved as per CPCB (ii) It Should be as per latest rules and regulations of Ministry of Environment and Forest and Pollution control board (iii) The generating set battaries and control panel should be inside the enclosure. (iv) Fuel tank should be out side the enclosure in the sub station building. (v) Construction Details/specification are as follows: a) Outer body :- CRCA Sheet of 1.6mm thick b) Doors :- CRCA sheet of 1.6 mm thick c) Sound Insulation :- As per OEM Norms vi) The accoustic should be composite in construction and fully assembled integral unit vii) The batteries should be placed inside the enclosure beside the DG Set on a suitable insulated platform viii) The fuel tank is to be located in Sub Station Building and cost of the fuel lines is deemed to be included in the offer. ix) The DG Set should be provided with external Emergency stop push button x) The enclosure should be suitably illuminated by LED Lamp fittings. xi) The noise level should be 75 dba at 1m under free field conditions. xii) The acoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pre treatment process. The powder coating shade should be Gen set Green. The base frame should be painted with epoxy based black shade
(E) ENGINE INSTRUMENTS PANEL :- All relevant Para meter shall be conventionally displayed on complete panel there by providing easy monitoring of lubricant oil pressure, coolant temperature battery charging ammeter, RPM and hour meter, starting switch etc.
Item No 45 : Automatic power factor control panels fabiricated out of 2.00mm thick CRCA steel sheet and other suitable size steel sections (angle iron 'T' section, channels etc) in cubicle compartments, free standing, floor mounted, dust and vermin proof complete all as specified and directed. Cable glands shall be provided on top as well as at the bottom of the panels. Panels shall be treated with anticorrosive process before powder coating of approved shade as per specifications. Panels shall be double door hinged type & in-built locking arrangment earthig terminals shall be provided for all distribution panels. Panels shall be suitable for 440V, 3 phase, 4 wire and 50Hz supply system. Lifting hooks shall be provided. Approval from the Accepting Officer for the design & specificationis of the Panel & its components shall be taken by the contractor before procurement. The automatic and manual control panel shall be of capacity as mentioned under and shall be provided duly housed/mounted with the following components/accessories/fittings complete in all respects as directed:- (a) 125KVAR capacitor automatic control panel with the follwing steppings:- (i) Considering 15% space for future expasion. (ii) Steps shall be 50+25+25+25 (b) BR-6000 Relay of 08 steps shall be used so that in future 2 steps can be used:01 Job. (c) MCCB, FP, 200Amp, 35KA with microprocessor based release relay: 01 No
