(F) Providing, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Scrapper System with Half Bridge for Clariflocculator for 3.00 MGD, Water Treatment Plant for Nishat Water Supply Scheme.

Supply Installation Testing and Commissioning of Half Bridge with Central Drive mechanism, scrapper and churners for 24.50m outer dia Clarifer complete Job.

The clarifier scrapper shall be suspended between the central pillar and sidewalls of the clarifier basin. The drive shall be made available from the Central drive gear assembly. Sludge scrapper arm is hung from the moving walkway bridge. The final drive gear is connected to the wheel drive with a suitable reduction gearing mechanism. The walkway shall have the rake arm suspended from it by structural steel angles. The scrapper blades shall be fixed on rake arms. These blades shall scrape, push and de-moisturize the sludge.

The walkway consists of a steel beam or truss access bridge extending approximately one half the tank diameters. The bridge shall extend a minimum 600 mm beyond the centerline of the center. The walkway of the bridge shall be made of mild steel epoxy painted with chequered plate at least 950mm wide. The bridge is supported on the tank wall at its end and on the RCC pillar housing at the center of the tank. Bridge live loads would be taken 150Kg/m2. Beam bridges will have handrails extending along both sides of the bridge. 5mm member sizes will be used for truss bridge construction. The blades will push the sludge to central sludge pit. Clarifier Mechanism shall be provided with a center slip ring mechanism to transfer electric current to the drive motor located at the outer end of the walkway to rotate the sludge collector. The Scraper blades on sludge collector arms are configured to sweep the entire clarifer bottom & settled solids are directed to central sludge hopper with each revolution. Sludge collector mechanism is fabricated in structural steel.

Structural steel angles of ISA 50x50x6 are suspended from the walkway bridge to support and rotate the sludge collector arm. The sludge collector consists of structural steel truss inclined along the basin surface to enable surface scrapping. Each clarifier drive assembly is comprised of an electric motor connected to a primary gear reducer or gear motor drive and may be driven by sprockets with drive chain to transmit power to the drive wheel. The primary gear reduction unit consists of a totally enclosed, horizontal type gear reducer with motor drive. The primary gear reduction unit is a set of worm gears having service factor of 1.4, based on running torque. All gearbox bearings are antifriction bearings and CI housing. Power transmission between the primary gear reduction unit and the final gear reduction unit is through a steel roller chain and steel sprocket assembly. The spur gear is mounted on an end carriage assembly designed to drive the entire rotating clarifier mechanism.
