| 3.001. CHECKING :- To check and service of the Mortuary cooler plant fortnightly covering the following works:- a) Checking the Mortuary cooler plant performance, gas leak and oil return and also refrigerant system. b) Checking the motors, starters, temperature controller with alarm system and other electrical equipments connected with the plant. c) Lubrication of bearings of compressor motor and blower fan etc. d) Checking and rectification the operation of control panel and safety cut-outs. e) Cleaning and discaling of the condenser once in a month as per direction of EIC. f) Cleaning of cooling coil once in a month as per direction of EIC. g) Checking of Mechanical parts ie. Mortuary Cooler Tray, Tray Channel & supporting arrangements, movable condition of Tray wheel, Drainage system from the machine, All mortuary cooler doors heat insulation, heat leakage and locking arrangements. | ||||||
| 4.002.REPAIRING OR REPLACEMENT :- a) Repairing of Replacement of the Mortuary cooler plant or repairing of parts thereof as and when necessary including evaporating and condensing coil,Compressor, all types of Motors and fan with blades both in condensing and evaporating units,Drainage system, Mortuary cooler tray, Carriage assemble support, channel , Tray wheel,Air filter, Mortuary Cooler doors ,locking arrangements, Contactors, relay, starters, Driers , refrigerant receivers, capilery tube,Copper pipe of required diametre for both suction and liquid including necessary leak testing and weilding required, all internal wirings and temparature controller with alarm system. b) Thorough overhauling of the Mortuary cooler plant in a year as directed. c) Pouring of refrigerant gas as and when required. d) Painting of the Mortuary cooler plant once in a year with approved paint as per direction of EIC. | ||||||
| 5.00TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR MAINTENANCE 1.Maintanance & servicing of Mortuary cooler plant includes evaporating and condensing coil,Compressor, all types of Motors and fan with blades both in condensing and evaporating units,Drainage system, Mortuary cooler tray, Carriage assemble support, channel , Tray wheel,Air filter,Mortuary Cooler doors ,locking arrangements, Contactors, relay, starters, Driers , refrigerant receivers, capilery tube,Copper pipe of required diametre for both suction and liquid including necessary leak testing and weilding required, all internal wirings and temparature controller with alarm system and electrical installation after main incoming source. 2.The contract covers preventive servicing twice in a month. 3.This comprehensive contract covers preventive & corrective maintenance of AC plant / spare parts as required so as to keep the AC Plant well operative / functioning round the clock as desired from performance and safety point of view. 4.Service Challan should be submitted to the AE concerned duly countersigned by the Junior Engineer-in-Charge of work. Mortuary Coller temperature at the time of servicing must be mentioned in the service Challan. | ||||||
| 6.005. The Log Book should be maintained and signed by the contractor or his authorized representative after completion of each phase of maintenance work under countersigned of the Junior Engineer or Assistant Enginner concerned. In case of fault if so arises during maintenance work that should also be got signed by the contractor or his authorized representative noting the date & time of fault under countersignature of the Junior Engineer concerned. Date of repair of the same should also be signed by the Junior Engineer concerned with proper remarks. 6. Log Book will have to be maintained by the Supervisor of the entrusted Agency in which Grill temperature of the plant AC and details of servicing will have to be noted down and duly countersigned by the JE and AE. 7. In case of break-down of Mortuary Cooler the restoration will have to be done within 24hrs. From the time of break-down. If the machine is required to be removed/shifted to workshop & retained for more that 24hrs, "Loan machine" have to be provide as replacement. If "Loan machine" is not provided timely by the agency a penalty amount @ Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) only per machine per day will be deducted from the contractor's bill till re-installation of machine or as per the discretion of EIC. 8. In case any fault / breakdown it should be intimated to the Assistant Engineer in writing form at earliest. | ||||||
| 7.009. Service challan certifying satisfactory performance of the machines should be submitted to the concerned JE periodically after overhauling and that has to be countersigned by the AE and to be submitted alongwith the bill. Grill temperature for the AC machines have to be maintained within 40ºF ± 2ºF keeping proper entries in the service challan. 10. Any fault should be set right within 24 (twenty four) hours. 11. A certificate of Assistant Engineer concern giving satisfactorily performance to machine should be obtained before payment. 12. This contract covers repair and replacement of spare parts & accessories including Mortuary cooler plant includes evaporating and condensing coil,Compressor, all types of Motors and fan with blades both in condensing and evaporating units,Drainage system, Mortuary cooler tray, Carriage assemble support, channel , Tray wheel,Air filter,Mortuary Cooler doors ,locking arrangements, Contactors, relay, starters, Driers , refrigerant receivers, capilery tube,Copper pipe of required diametre for both suction and liquid including necessary leak testing and weilding required, all internal wirings and temparature controller with alarm system etc. as necessary and these spare parts / accessories should be available at site in the custody of the entrusted agency. 13. Any inconvenience caused so far as performance of AC plant is concerned due to negligence in the part of the agency, if detected, will be liable to penalty. Quantum of penalty would be decided by EIC depending on the gravity of situation. | ||||||
| 8.0014. While taking up / starting the comprehensive maintenance of Mortuary cold storage units, the agency will have to start maintaining this plants as per above terms and conditions irrespective of the condition of the A.C.plant and no extra charges will be paid for repairing / replacement work.( Except sheet metal body,door lock & mortuay tray) 15. The agency will have to provide self explanatory laminated photo identity cards and proper dresses with company’s logo for all the maintenance staff for need of Hospital Security reasons. 16. The behavior of mtc staff of the entrusted agency should be polite in nature and may be withdrawn from site in case of any adverse is reported. However, in normal cases, frequent changes of mtc staff will not be allowed without prior official intimation to the AE / JE. 17. No extra charges ( Duties/ Cess/ Taxes etc ) will be paid except the rate quoted by the agency as per unit per month basis for maintaining the above described terms & conditions | ||||||
| 9.0018. In case of any accident/ incident and or physical illness of the staff of entrusted agency while on duty, no claim will be entertained by this Department (P.W.D.) and all responsibilities thereof should be shoudered by the agency only. Minimum wages as per existing Labor Act should be paid to the staff. 19. Bill should be submitted bimonthly / quarterly as per direction of the EIC, keeping at least one spare log book at site and payment will be made on production of bill supported by documentary evidence. 20. Any Mishandelling of the Mortuary cooler machine from user ends must be informed to the concern Assistant Enginner in Written form at earliest with out any fail. Otherwise malfunctioning of this machines will be treated as penalty as stated above. 21. The philosophy of "Public Interest" would be the MOTTO of this all inclusive comprehensive maintenance, any deviation may be viewed otherwise. 22. The concerned Executive Engineer reserves the right to terminate the contract against two months notice for performance not observed satisfactory as well as for any other administrative reason. | ||||||
| 10.00Rate to be quoted will be inclusive of all taxes incl. GST. No other additional charges will be applicable in addition to the quoted rates. | ||||||
