Bill No. 1 Site Clearance, Dismantling and Earth Works

Clearing and Grubbing Road Land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth upto 300 mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000 m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per Technical Specification Clause 201 . Dismantling Stone Masonry as per Technical Specification Clause 202.Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structure comprising of stone masonry, including disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lift and lead of 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 202. As directed by Engineer in-charge.

Removing all types of Hume pipes and stacking within a lead of 1000 m including Earthwork and Dismantling of Masonry Works as per Technical Specification Clause 202. As directed by Engineer in-charge.

(iii) Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross-sections, and transporting to the embankment location with a lift upto 1.5 m and lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3 . As directed by Engineer in-charge.

(iii) Excavation in Ordinary Rock using Hydraulic Excavator and Tippers with disposal upto 1000 m,Excavation for roadway in ordinary rock with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, transporting to embankment site with a lift upto 1.5 m and lead upto 1000 m, trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross-sections as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3. As directed by Engineer in-charge.

Construction of Embankment with Material Obtained from Roadway Cutting,Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacting with vibratory roller to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 .As directed by Engineer in-charge.

Construction of Embankment with Material Obtained from Borrow Pits,Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting with vibratory roller to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 . As directed by Engineer in-charge.

Construction of Subgrade and Earthen Shoulders,Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting with vibratory roller to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1. Preparation of Foundation for Embankment,Scarifying Existing Granular Surface to a Depth of 50 mm by Manual Means, Scarifying existing granular surface to a depth of 50 mm and disposal of scarified material with a lift upto 3 m and leads upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.4.

Providing and laying cement concrete pipe of IS 458:2003 NP-2 class of 800 mm diameter in proper line, level and slope including providing and fixing collars in cement mortar 1:2 and curing etc. complete. As directed by Engineer in-charge.

Bill No.2 Pavement Works (GSB, WBM, Bituminous Works) and Cement Concrete Pavement Work

By Mix in Place Method,Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401. 2)WBM Grading 2,Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening binding meterials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 405. Modified Penetration Macadam,Construction of penetration macadam over prepared base by providing a layer of compacted crushed coarse aggregate using chips spreader with alternate applications of bituminous binder and key aggregates and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller to achieve the desired degree of compaction as per Technical Specification Clause 506. As directed by Engineer in-charge.

(i) Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.20 to 0.25 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503. As directed by Engineer in-charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared dry and hungry bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503. As directed by Engineer in-charge.

20mm thick Open-Graded Premix Carpet using Bituminous (penetration grade/modified bitumen) Binder,Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type A or Type B or Type C as per Technical Specification Clause 508. Seal Coat,Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type A, Type B and Type C as per Technical Specification Clause 510 . Providing and Fixing 'Logo' of MMGSY Project,Providing and fixing of typical MMGSY informatory sign board with Logo as per MORD specifications and drawing. Three MS Plates of 1.6 mm thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 5m size on back on edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mm x 5mm. The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 nos. 75mm x 75 mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 450mm x 450mm x 600mm, 600mm below ground level. The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x 47mm of 12 SWG steel plate tube. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. B.Semi Reflective Traffic Signs,Providing and fixing of semi reflective cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign board as per IRC:67 made of 1.5 mm thick MS Sheet duly stove white colour in front and gray colour on back with red reflective border of 65 mm width and required letters and figures with reflective tape engineering grade as per Clause 1701.3.9 of MORD for Rural Roads of required shade and colour supported and welded on 47mm x 47 mm x 12 SWG sheet tube firmly fixed to the ground by mean of properly designed foundations with M-15 grade cement concrete 450x450x600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per approved drawing Clause 1701.2.2 As directed by Engineer in-charge.

All sections of framed posts and steel tube shall be painted with primer and two coat of epoxy paint as per drawings.(Rate as per RD&WC Deptt.No.CMGSY-2007/CR/145/Yojana-9 dt. 4.4.2007) . As directed by Engineer in-charge.

MMGSY / PMGSY Maintenance Information Board- Providing and fixing of typical MMGSY / PMGSY Retro Reflective information board as per section 1700 of MORD specifications and latest PMGSY Signage Manual / Circuler and drawing.The ACP sheets of 3 mm thick, of 1500mmx900 mm size duly rivetted with MS angles of 25 x 25 x 5 mm thick M.S angle. Riveting of all the sheets over angle and flat iron frame will be done neatly to have plain surface on one side. The angle iron frame of the plate will be welded to two nos. 75mm x75mm (12 SWG) sheet tubes posts placed at 1125mm apart centre to centre. These two posts will be embeded in cement concrete M15 grade block of 600x600x750mm below ground level. The height of the bottom of the plate will be 775mm from normal ground level. MMGSY / PMGSY logo, letters and numerals on the ACP should be made up of Retro Reflective sheeting of Class-A / Class-B grade as per the latest MORD section 1700 specifications (Refer Circuler no. NRRDA-P013(11)/3/2019-Dir (Tech) dated 02.12.2019). Printing PMGSY Logo/MMGSY Logo/Project description on Class A or Class B type retro reflective sheeting using modern technology printing platform. The printer shall be approved by the retro reflective sheeting manufacturer and printed sign shall conform to retro reflective values as laid down in IRC 67-2012. The inks used for printing shall be eco friendly with VOC emissions complying to UL 2801 standards and specifications for the different kinds of platforms. The printed sign shall be laminated by UV protected laminate and shall carry a warranty of 5 years & 7 years for Class A and Class B sheeting respectively for traffic colors. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paints as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1 (10.16). PMGSY logo, letters and numerals on the ACP should be made up of Retro Reflective sheeting of Class-A / Class-B grade as per the latest MORD section 1700 specifications. All the section of the frame and posts shall be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint. The design, painting and lettering shall be done as per the PMGSY Signage Guidelines Fig.5 and as directed by Engineer-In-charge. . A warranty for 5 / 7 years for the Retro reflective sheeting for Class-A and Class-B respectively, from original manufacturer shall be submitted by contractor.

Providing and fixing Cautionary/Warning sign boards in Octagone size of mm made out of mm aluminum sheet bonded with white retro reflective sheeting of Class B ( Type IV High intensity micro-prismatic grade sheeting-HIP) having pressure sensitive/heat activated adhesive retoreflective specified back ground, border and back side retoreflctive symbols, letters, numerals, arrow as per IRC:67-2012 Table No 8.3 Supported with back support frame 25mm x 25mm x 3mm, duly painted on back side with grey stove enamel paint and supported on one Number of M. S. angle iron post of size 65 mm X 65 mm X 6 mm, 3.45 m long, duly painted with with flat oil paint having alternate black and white bands of 25 cm width including G.I. fixtures etc; fixing the boards in M25 grade concrete block of size 60cm X 60cm X 75cm including transportation etc; complete. Class B ( Type IV High intensity micro-prismatic grade sheeting-HIP) shall have 7 years written warranty from the manufacturer and authorised distributor/convertor issued for field performance including the screen printed areas and cut-out sheeting and cut-out durable transparent overlay film and this warranty certificate in original should be submitted to the Engineer in charge by the contractor/supplier.750 mm made out of 2mm aluminum sheet .

Providing and laying of Plastirib T or equivalent raised profile edge line marking (audiblevibratory) with special hot applied thermoplastic road marking compound according toIRC 35 : 2015, Clause 7.7 with2 mm thick base coat layer above that ribs profile size oflength 40 mm x width 140 mm x height 6mm thick (Total 8 mm thick) at the distance of250 mm between two ribs including reflectorizing glass beads @ 250 gm / sq. mtr. area.The minimum and maximum width of raised profile should be 150 mm. The thickness of8 mm profil should be exclusive of surface applied glass beads. The finished surface to beexclusive of surface applied glass beads. The finished surface to be levelled, uniform andfree from streaks and holes, to be applied on edge lines .

FRP Beam Crash Barrier -- Type - A, W : FRP Beam Crash Barrier (Providing and erecting a W "FRP beam crash barrier comprising of 3 mm thick corrugated sheet FRPbeam rail, 70 cm above road/ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150x 75 x 5 mm spaced 2 m centre to centre, 1.8 m high, 1.1 m below ground/road level, allsteel parts and fitments to be galvanised by hot dip process, all fittings to conform toIS:14856 (2000) and IS:18319 (2015), FRP beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post witha spacer of channel section 150 x 75 x 5 mm, 330 mm long complete as per clause 810)"As directed by Engineer incharge .

Supplying & Fixing of Molded Shank Raised Pavement Markers / Cat's Eye made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to Specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No RW/NH/33023/10-97 DO III Dt 11.06. 1997. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50 mm, 100 mm and 102 +/- 2 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/- 5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2 mm and height not less than 30+/- 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer.The contractor shall submit a two year warranty for satisfactory field performance including stipulated retro-reflectance of the reflecting panel, to the Engineer. As directed by Engineer in-charge.

Providing and Laying of 2 or more sets (6 Nos. each set) Dual Ribs Pattern Rumble Markings on roads with vehicular speeds of more than 50 Km/hr laid as per the spacing recommended for each set under Table 11.1 and Fig. 11.2 of IRC 35:2015 using Plastirib 2K, or equivalent 2 component cold plastic profiled material. Each Dual Rib pattern rumble marking shall have width of 500 mm. Each dual rib pattern rumble marking shall have 2 ribs each of Width of 100 mm and height 20 mm. Gap between two ribs shall be 300 mm. Each rumble marking shall be made complete with drop on Soild Plus reflective glass beads @ 300 gm / Square Metre spread throughout the surface of marking. The finished surface to be levelled, uniform and free from streaks and holes, including surface cleaning and cost of all materials etc. complete. As directed by Engineer in-charge.

MMGSY / PMGSY Maintenance Information Board- Providing and fixing of typical MMGSY / PMGSY Retro Reflective information board as per section 1700 of MORD specifications and latest PMGSY Signage Manual / Circuler and drawing.The ACP sheets of 3 mm thick, of 1500mmx900 mm size duly rivetted with MS angles of 25 x 25 x 5 mm thick M.S angle. Riveting of all the sheets over angle and flat iron frame will be done neatly to have plain surface on one side. The angle iron frame of the plate will be welded to two nos. 75mm x75mm (12 SWG) sheet tubes posts placed at 1125mm apart centre to centre. These two posts will be embeded in cement concrete M15 grade block of 600x600x750mm below ground level. The height of the bottom of the plate will be 775mm from normal ground level. MMGSY / PMGSY logo, letters and numerals on the ACP should be made up of Retro Reflective sheeting of Class-A / Class-B grade as per the latest MORD section 1700 specifications (Refer Circuler no. NRRDA-P013(11)/3/2019-Dir (Tech) dated 02.12.2019). Printing PMGSY Logo/MMGSY Logo/Project description on Class A or Class B type retro reflective sheeting using modern technology printing platform. Supplying & Fixing of Molded Shank Raised Pavement Markers / Cat's Eye made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to Specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No RW/NH/33023/10-97 DO III Dt 11.06. 1997. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50 mm, 100 mm and 102 +/- 2 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/- 5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2 mm and height not less than 30+/- 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer.The contractor shall submit a two year warranty for satisfactory field performance including stipulated retro-reflectance of the reflecting panel, to the Engineer. Providing and Laying of 2 or more sets (6 Nos. each set) Dual Ribs Pattern Rumble Markings on roads with vehicular speeds of more than 50 Km/hr laid as per the spacing recommended for each set under Table 11.1 and Fig. 11.2 of IRC 35:2015 using Plastirib 2K, or equivalent 2 component cold plastic profiled material. Providing and Fixing 'Logo' of MMGSY Project,Providing and fixing of typical MMGSY informatory sign board with Logo as per MORD specifications and drawing. Three MS Plates of 1.6 mm thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 5m size on back on edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mm x 5mm. The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 nos. 75mm x 75 mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 450mm x 450mm x 600mm, 600mm below ground level. The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x 47mm of 12 SWG steel plate tube. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. MMGSY / PMGSY Maintenance Information Board- Providing and fixing of typical MMGSY / PMGSY Retro Reflective information board as per section 1700 of MORD specifications and latest PMGSY Signage Manual / Circuler and drawing.The ACP sheets of 3 mm thick, of 1500mmx900 mm size duly rivetted with MS angles of 25 x 25 x 5 mm thick M.S angle. Riveting of all the sheets over angle and flat iron frame will be done neatly to have plain surface on one side. The angle iron frame of the plate will be welded to two nos. 75mm x75mm (12 SWG) sheet tubes posts placed at 1125mm apart centre to centre. These two posts will be embeded in cement concrete M15 grade block of 600x600x750mm below ground level. The height of the bottom of the plate will be 775mm from normal ground level. MMGSY / PMGSY logo, letters and numerals on the ACP should be made up of Retro Reflective sheeting of Class-A / Class-B grade as per the latest MORD section 1700 specifications (Refer Circuler no. NRRDA-P013(11)/3/2019-Dir (Tech) dated 02.12.2019). Printing PMGSY Logo/MMGSY Logo/Project description on Class A or Class B type retro reflective sheeting using modern technology printing platform. The printer shall be approved by the retro reflective sheeting manufacturer and printed sign shall conform to retro reflective values as laid down in IRC 67-2012. The inks used for printing shall be eco friendly with VOC emissions complying to UL 2801 standards and specifications for the different kinds of platforms. The printed sign shall be laminated by UV protected laminate and shall carry a warranty of 5 years & 7 years for Class A and Class B sheeting respectively for traffic colors. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paints as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1 (10.16). PMGSY logo, letters and numerals on the ACP should be made up of Retro Reflective sheeting of Class-A / Class-B grade as per the latest MORD section 1700 specifications. All the section of the frame and posts shall be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint. The design, painting and lettering shall be done as per the PMGSY Signage Guidelines Fig.5 and as directed by Engineer-In-charge. . Providing and fixing Cautionary/Warning sign boards in Octagone size of mm made out of mm aluminum sheet bonded with white retro reflective sheeting of Class B ( Type IV High intensity micro-prismatic grade sheeting-HIP) having pressure sensitive/heat activated adhesive retoreflective specified back ground, border and back side retoreflctive symbols, letters, numerals, arrow as per IRC:67-2012 Table No 8.3 Supported with back support frame 25mm x 25mm x 3mm, duly painted on back side with grey stove enamel paint and supported on one Number of M. S. angle iron post of size 65 mm X 65 mm X 6 mm, 3.45 m long, duly painted with with flat oil paint having alternate black and white bands of 25 cm width including G.I. fixtures etc; fixing the boards in M25 grade concrete block of size 60cm X 60cm X 75cm including transportation etc; complete. Class B ( Type IV High intensity micro-prismatic grade sheeting-HIP) shall have 7 years written warranty from the manufacturer and authorised distributor/convertor issued for field performance including the screen printed areas and cut-out sheeting and cut-out durable transparent overlay film and this warranty certificate in original should be submitted to the Engineer in charge by the contractor/supplier.750 mm made out of 2mm aluminum sheet .

Providing and laying of Plastirib T or equivalent raised profile edge line marking (audiblevibratory) with special hot applied thermoplastic road marking compound according toIRC 35 : 2015, Clause 7.7 with2 mm thick base coat layer above that ribs profile size oflength 40 mm x width 140 mm x height 6mm thick (Total 8 mm thick) at the distance of250 mm between two ribs including reflectorizing glass beads @ 250 gm / sq. mtr. area.The minimum and maximum width of raised profile should be 150 mm. The thickness of8 mm profil should be exclusive of surface applied glass beads. The finished surface to beexclusive of surface applied glass beads. The finished surface to be levelled, uniform andfree from streaks and holes, to be applied on edge lines .

Supplying & Fixing of Molded Shank Raised Pavement Markers / Cat's Eye made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to Specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No RW/NH/33023/10-97 DO III Dt 11.06. 1997. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50 mm, 100 mm and 102 +/- 2 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/- 5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2 mm and height not less than 30+/- 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer.The contractor shall submit a two year warranty for satisfactory field performance including stipulated retro-reflectance of the reflecting panel, to the Engineer. As directed by Engineer in-charge.

Providing and Laying of 2 or more sets (6 Nos. each set) Dual Ribs Pattern Rumble Markings on roads with vehicular speeds of more than 50 Km/hr laid as per the spacing recommended for each set under Table 11.1 and Fig. 11.2 of IRC 35:2015 using Plastirib 2K, or equivalent 2 component cold plastic profiled material. Each Dual Rib pattern rumble marking shall have width of 500 mm. Each dual rib pattern rumble marking shall have 2 ribs each of Width of 100 mm and height 20 mm. Gap between two ribs shall be 300 mm. Each rumble marking shall be made complete with drop on Soild Plus reflective glass beads @ 300 gm / Square Metre spread throughout the surface of marking. The finished surface to be levelled, uniform and free from streaks and holes, including surface cleaning and cost of all materials etc. complete. As directed by Engineer in-charge.
