Schedule A1- Pumping Machinery
Pumping Machinery Submersible:- Providing and installation of suitable Clear water submersible pumping set of KSB/ Calama/ Johnston/ Crompton/BS/ SABAR/ Oswal/ Kirloskar/WPIL make conforming to latest relevant BIS Code 8034:1976. The pump should be fitted with bronze impeller or suitable alloys suitable for handling Clear water having greased packed bearings and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor (water proof type) of required HP & 2900 rpm of reputed make conforming to BIS 9283-1979 latest with upto date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible duty isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand non vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. The pump set should include water level guards, erection clamps , cable clips, depth gauge NRV & Sluice valves of approved class etc. The work should be completed to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in – Charge. The rates shall be for complete Job to run the machinery in proper working. and should meet with the requirements. (Ist stage). The offer should be include accessoriesrequired such as cables, panels etc. shall be part of the offer including standby arrangement, the rate shall be quoted with per set rate of pumping machinery. Since the re check and re-design of proposal/scheme is to be carried out by the lowest bidder, the design/drawings so approved by the competent authority after finalisation of design and drawings,any variation in HP and other accessories etc.The rate shall be worked out on prorata basis after approval of the competent authority and payment will be made accordingly. The starting current of the motor shall be limited to not more than 4.5 to 5 times of full load current. The motor shall be suitable of running at 415 volt+ - 10% volt atleast. It should include cost of bearing nuts, bolts and painting etc and should meet the following requirement (as per data sheet No. 13) including Pump sets (working + standby), All electrical equipments such as Starter, ICTP switches, MCB, Bush bar chamber, MCB, Panel board indicating lamps, Ammeter, Voltmeter, Hour run meter should be of electronic type , incoming and outgoing water proof cable for panel board, Double loop earthing, copper cable pressure gauge, capacitor, common header, sluice valve, NRV including erection and testing complete necessary piping for suction and common header and control valves alongwith electrical works including all taxes, insurance, transportation, freight charges, inspection charges, loading, unloading, conveyance to Departmental stores/ site, stacking, etc. including specials and wastage etc.; complete as per Tender Specifications and instruction of Engineer in charge. Schedule A2- Providing and Laying of Rising Mains
Excavation in foundation and trenches up to all depths and in all classification of soil such as Pick work, Jumper work, chiselling or wedging out of soft and hard rock as blasting is prohibited, saturated soil including bailing or pumping out of water, including cutting of bitumenous/concrete surface wherever required, in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, levelling of beds to correct grade including shoring, strutting , planking, timbering and dewatering where ever required. Stacking usable and unusable material /soil seperataly and after laying, jointing and testing of pipes (for pipes, Pipe duct, chambers, x-sings etc.), returning the usable soil in 15cm layers by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/ unusable material as directed within all leads/ lifts including restoration of metalled/unmetalled surfaces to its original condition (metalled surface to be measured and paid for separately) and including cost of diversion for traffic, night signal boards, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects within all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
Rising Main from Tubewells to collection Tank
Laying, jointing and testing in trenches (to level or grade) G.I. pipes of following dia (H/M class) conforming to IS:1239-2004(Part - I ) (latest upto date amendments) of grade and wall thickness as specified below, suitable to withstand required hydraulic test pressure in randum length 4 m-6 m with plain ends and jointed with MS Flanges conforming to IS:6392-1971 (latest upto date amendments) and welding of flanges as per IS: 816-1969 with electrodes as per IS:814-1991 including required number and size of MS nuts and bolts as per IS 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fibre jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3.00mm in thickness as per IS:2712-1998. & butt welded joints. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in three layers two on outer face & one layer on inner face to make the joints leak proof and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. The laying of Pipes conform to IS 5822-1994 and as per CPHEEO manual and will include all operations such as cutting, welding and jointing including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts. (Earth work in trenches, welding of flanges and butt welding will be measured and paid for seperately) (Refer Data Sheet No. 4).

Rising Main from collection Tank MBRs
Providing, Laying,Jointing in trenches to be levelled to grade and testing of below mentioned dia Galvanized MSERW plain ended pipe conforming to IS/ISO 3183-2012 grade L-210 as per dimensions weight and test pressure mentioned below in a random length of 5m - 7m. The M.S. flanges are to be provided 5% of total joints as per table below conforming to 6392-1971 ( Latest uptodate ammendments) and welding of M.S. flanges with pipe as per IS: 816-1965 with electrode as per IS: 814-1967 including required Nos. and size of M.S. nuts and bolts as per IS: 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fibre jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3mm thick as per IS: 27121-1965. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in two layers to make the joints leak proof including all kind of specials such as bends of all degree to be made from parent tube, short pieces, tail pieces all made from parent tube and to the entire satisfaction of enginer-in-charge. The pipes end should be bevelled suitable for butt welding. The Circumferencial butt welded joints by electrical arc welding to following dia & class pipes,welding of pipes to be done in three layers to make the joints leak proof and to achieve the minimum effective throat thickness of weld conforming to IS- 816-1969 specifications, by using welding electrodes of 2.5 mm to 6.3 mm of Advani oerlikon (Adore)-CITOJET/ESAB make, conforming to IS 814-1991, at site of work complete in all respects and including DPT test for joints & manual/mechnical handing of pipes. The laying of pipes should be conforming to IS: 5822-1994 (Earth work in trenches ,butt welding and M.S. flanges to be measured and paid for separately) The pipe shall have zinc coating as per IS 4736 in factory latest with uptodate ammendments. Pipe shall be coated from both sides ( in side and outer side) with the required thickness of zinc coating as per IS code mentioned above. (Refer Data Sheet No. 3).

Collection Tank , Main Balancing Reservior (U/G) and Sector Reserviors (U/G) :- Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning (to be approved by the competent authority) RCC Circular under ground/partial under ground storage reservoirs as per capacity given below at various stages/sites including excavation in foundation in all kinds of soil. including PCC (1:3:6) in foundation and M:30 design mix in bottom slab/raft ,walls and beams. And RCC (1:2:4) in roof slab/dome with provision of inspection path around the dome with all alied Civil Works such as c/o chamber for valves, refilling and disposing of surplus excavated earth with in all leads and lifts. The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipe with bye pass arrangement consisting of GI / MS pipes special and valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as MS ladders inside and outside, CI cowl type ventilator, SFRC manhole covers with frames of heavy duty with proper locking arrangement, water level indicator. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness, All works shall be conforming to relevant IS code. The cost of valves,bulk meter/ flow meter shall be included in the rates of tanks .complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. The battery limit shall be considered as 3.00 mtrs from the edge of the structure of the boundary wall of the land which ever is less. The contractor shall provide 6 sets of approved drawing and design to the department including cost of site development required as per site conditions.

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF SCHEME FOR 5 YEARS:- The Bidder shall carry out the operation and maintenance of the scheme right from source to tail ends of the scheme. The operation & maintenance shall be carried out as per the CPHEEO manual of water supply & treatment (Latest addition). All the structures & other components of the scheme should be kept neat and clean; he should report the any leakages, choking of lines and other damages of the scheme to the department immediately. He should maintain log books of running of pumping machinery and Register’s for conducting water samples and consumption of chemicals & flow meter readings etc. and submit the report to the department as per the direction of the Employer. For any breakdown of the scheme, he should repair/rectify the defects immediately and put the scheme functional immediately otherwise he shall be liable to penalise for Rupee 5000/- per day for delay in repair of the scheme. He should deploy sufficient skilled/un-skilled manpower on the scheme.Periodical white washing distempering & painting of all civil structures should be carried out. He is responsible to supply sufficient quantity and quality of water to the beneficiares. (Refer Data Sheet No.9).
