Schedule 'A' Part-I General Note as applicable for serial item No 2.00 of BoQ/Sch 'A' Contractors attention is hereby invited that estimated cost of serial item No 2.00 is Rs. 7,03,500.00 based on prevailing rates of Schedule of Minimum fair wages. Quoted amount against serial item No. 2.00 is less than the amount the work (Estimated of serial item No. 2.00 of BoQ/Sch 'A') then lowest bidder will have to deposit FDR in favour of Accepting Officer within 07 days from financial bid opened difference in Estimated cost & quoted amount of serial item No. 2.00 before evaluation of financial bid for acceptance of tender, failing which lowest tender will not be accepted. FDR submitted at the time of Acceptance of bidder will be realesed only after satisfactory proof of payment of deployed person under the respective serial item No. 2.00 of BoQ.

Outsourcing of services for Manning and Operation and maintenance of Diesel Engine Generator Set of different capacity installed at 04 End and 22 End, One FGM (Fitter General Mechanic) in three shift, each shift for 8 hours continuous operation every day (total 24 hours) (including Sunday/Holiday) including DG set and all electricals equiptment, day to day maintenance of panels for street lights at Tech area and cleaning the surrounding area of installation building (inside/outside), engine alternator, fuel tank, control panel, radiator, battery 12 volts, Change over switch, DG Set, LT Panel, Starter and panel board regularly complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Contractor shall provide proper manning to give rest to the deployed person for sunday/holiday. For this purpose contractor shall provide one extra manpower on every Six FGM (Fitter General Mechanic). (ii) Daily attendance shall be marked in attendance register by the concerned JE (E/M) attandance shall be checked weekly at least by the Engineer-in-Charge and monthly by the GE.

Notes for serial item No. 2.00 (Contd...) (iii) Dos" and Don'ts" standing orders of operating machines maintenance programme shall be displayed in each instalation as per site requirement. (iv) Log book, log sheet shall be filled shift wise. (v) Operator shall be in proper uniform as approved by GE and cost of uniform shall be included in the rate quoted by the Tenderer. (vi) Unit rates quoted by the tenderrs shall deem to include for Nuts, bolts, Washers, Lugs, Thimbles, wires, terminal clamps, disttiled water as required for efficient and smooth functioning of the equipment with out any extra cost to the Govt. (vii) One person to deploy weekly once at both the Solar plant cleaning of solar panel board including consumable materials and chemicals as well as required. (viii) Fuel for operation of DG Sets shall be supplied by the Department as free for filling only. However, storage facilities of fuel and collection of fuel from MES Store shall be provided by the contractor at own cost. (ix) Surrounding area shall be kept clean and tidy, grass and vegitation shall also be removed in side and outside of the installation, necessary hose pipe and wiper shall be provided by the contractor for cleaning of solar panels two location and as above without any extra cost. Tool required for cleaning is deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Notes for serial item No. 2.00 (Contd...) (x) Daily log sheet for running hours, fuel consumption register shall be maintained by the contractor and signed by the JE /other superinternding staff employed by the contractor. (xi) Daily checking of oil level, Oil pressure, priming, frequencey temperature shall carried out and records shall be maintained. (xii) All tools and plants like, tongtester, multimeter, spanner set test lamp, screw driver, tommy spanner set, hand gloves, cutting plier, tester will be provided by the contractor without any extra cost and should be available with operation at Each Installation. (xiii) Operation will check the condition of three phase supply is health or not and also detect the fault in AMF Panel and LT Panel and will attend/rectify the fault immidiately.

Schedule 'A' Part-II Power Contactor 4 Pole, 100 Amps, type MCX-22 complete including taking down old unserviceable power contactor complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fixing, commissioning & testing Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) card for 100 KVA to 160 KVA DG Set including taking down old unserviceable AVR complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fixing, commissioning & testing Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) card for 200 KVA DG Set including taking down old unserviceable AVR complete all as specified and directed.

Lead Acid Battery, 12 Volt grade, 180 AH capacity, with one year warranty, including initial charging and connecting DC cable, thimbles, nut, bolts etc including disconnecting & taking out old unserviceable battery complete all as specified and directed.

MCCB, 3 Pole, 100 Amps rating, rupturing capacity 16 kA, 415 Volt grade, AC, 50 Hz, thermal Magnetic protection unit with connecting links and making connections using suitable size copper lugs/thimbles and crimping tool, including disconnecting & taking down old unserviceable MCCB, complete all as specified & directed.

MCCB, 4 Pole, 160 Amps rating, rupturing capacity 36 kA, 415 Volt grade, AC, 50 Hz, thermal Magnetic protection unit with connecting links and making connections using suitable size copper lugs/thimbles and crimping tool, including disconnecting & taking down old unserviceable MCCB, complete all as specified & directed.

MCCB, 4 Pole, 200 Amps rating, rupturing capacity 36 kA, 415 Volt grade, AC, 50 Hz, thermal Magnetic protection unit with connecting links and making connections using suitable size copper lugs/thimbles and crimping tool, including disconnecting & taking down old unserviceable MCCB, complete all as specified & directed.

MCCB, 4 Pole, 250 Amps rating, rupturing capacity 36 kA, 415 Volt grade, AC, 50 Hz, thermal magnetic unit with connecting links and making connections using suitable size copper lugs/thimbles and crimping tool, including disconnecting & taking down old unserviceable MCCB, complete all as specified and directed.

MCCB, 4 Pole, 400 Amps rating, rupturing capacity 36 kA, 415 Volt grade, AC, 50 Hz, thermal magnetic adjustable type with connecting links and making connections using suitable size copper lugs/thimbles and crimping tool, including disconnecting & taking down old unserviceable MCCB, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down of old unserviceable self starter of capacity 12/24 volts from engine and shifting to civil workshop for repair/overhauling of the self starter by rewinding of one field coil, repair and rewinding of armature and fixing, its to the existing place after repairing, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Filling in sump/ topping up engine oil, multi grade 20w/ 40 in engine or replacement of engine oil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge. Make: Indian oil/Hindusthan/Petrolium/Castrol/Servo.

Distilled water best quality suitable for lead acid battery, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Filling premixed coolant (35 litre) container complete all as specified and directed

Petrolium Jelly in 1 Kg plastic sealed container is requied as per site complete all as specified and directed.

Battery lead with copper terminals & lugs with 16 Sqmm Single Core PVC insulated and unsheathed multistranded copper conductor cable 1100 Volt grade 1.5 mtr long fixed as in repair complete all as specified and directed.

Battery lead with copper terminals & lugs with 16 Sqmm Single Core PVC insulated and unsheathed multistranded copper conductor cable 1100 Volt grade 0.30 mtr long fixed as in repair complete all as specified and directed.

Heat proof asbestos rope 12mm dia in engine exhaust pipe including taking out worn out asbestos rope and minor welding/tightaning in leakage exhaust complete all as specified and directed.

Servicing, calibration and testing of injector assembly including replacement of worn out parts, barrel, plunger, injectors nozzels and overhauling, dilivery valve, cup injector and commissioning and testing the same of capacity 63 KVA to 250 KVA DG set complete all as specified and directed.

Controller suitable for capacity 320 KVA DG Set, slilent type as per existing complete all as specified and directed.

Controller suitable for capacity 75 KVA to 250 KVA DG Set, slilent type as per existing complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting, opening/taking down complete radiator assembly and draining out coolant/water and descaling the complete radiator with HCL acid (Hydrochloric Acid) and washing, testing of water leakage of any and after repair of radiator assmbley, testing and refixing the same position complete radiator assembly of DG set capacity 320 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of old painted surfaces of DG Sets capacity 7.50 KVA to 100 KVA, fuel tank, Panel, Alternator and base frame by cleaning and rubbing of old painted surfaces and making good surfaces for paint etc, and applying painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint with spray as per MES colour code complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of old painted surfaces of DG Sets capacity 160 KVA to 320 KVA, fuel tank, Panel, Alternator and base frame by cleaning and rubbing of old painted surfaces and making good surfaces for paint etc, and applying painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint with spray as per MES colour code complete all as specified and directed.

Repair to Automatic mains failure (AMF) Panels 30 KVA to 320 KVA DG set, disconnecting, taking down of all electrical connections of AMF panels from unserviceable AMF panel and transportation to local workshop to carrying out following repairs and after repair of Automatic mains failur (AMF) panels, testing and refixing the same position complete all as specified and directed. (a) Repair of old unserviceable microprocessor auto main failure relay 400 volt grade, 3 Phase, AC Supply, 4 wire system having following parameters. (i) Display of RYB phase voltage (ii) Display of generator voltage & frequency (iii) Display of main frequency (iv) Display of battery voltage (v) Display of single phase current (vi) Display of generator run hours (b) Replacement of old unserviceable digital multi functional meter of size 96x96mm (i) Voltage, ampere and frequency (c) Replacement of digital energy meter 3 Phase of size 96x96mm (d) Replacement of safety control relay for cranking (e) Replacement of burnt out control wiring for panel with suitable size of lugs. (f) Auto/manual toggle switch

Maintenance and servicing of DG Set of capacity 7.5 KVA to 75 KVA complete including draining out of diesel from tank, cleaning the tank thoroughly and refilling the drained out diesel, draining out engine oil from the chamber, cleaning the chamber thoroughly and refilling the same with new engine oil to required level, replacing the fuel filter, lubricating oil filter, check & clean air cleaner, change air cleaner elements, check coolant level & make up the same, drain the Fuel filter & water separator, filling the starting batteries with electrolyte/distilled water to maintain the required specific gravity, replace the unserviceable brass connectors for batteries, cleaning of battery terminals & applying petroleum jelly to battery terminal posts & brass connectors, changing of V-belts, changing rubber hoses and clips of air cleaner, checking of exhaust leakage, governor, breathers etc, adjust/set the same for proper functioning of DG Set, checking of fuel, oil and water/coolant level etc, adjusting and keeping the fan belts to the desired tension, tightening all the bolts and nuts to the required torque etc, cleaning the DG Set with accessories as prescribed by the manufacturer and test for satisfactory running of DG set for two hour at connected load & record shall be made in respect of RPM, oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, voltage, frequency, load current, battery charging, fuel consumption etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Maintenance and servicing of DG Set of capacity 83 KVA to 160 KVA complete including draining out of diesel from tank, cleaning the tank thoroughly and refilling the drained out diesel, draining out engine oil from the chamber, cleaning the chamber thoroughly and refilling the same with new engine oil to required level, replacing the fuel filter, lubricating oil filter, check & clean air cleaner, change air cleaner elements, check coolant level & make up the same, drain the Fuel filter & water separator, filling the starting batteries with electrolyte/distilled water to maintain the required specific gravity, replace the unserviceable brass connectors for batteries, cleaning of battery terminals & applying petroleum jelly to battery terminal posts & brass connectors, changing of V-belts, changing hoses and clips of air cleaner, checking of exhaust leakage, governor, breathers etc, adjust/set the same for proper functioning of DG Set, checking of fuel, oil and water/coolant level etc, adjusting and keeping the fan belts to the desired tension, tightening all the bolts and nuts to the required torque etc, cleaning the DG Set with accessories as prescribed by the manufacturer and test for satisfactory running of DG set for two hour at connected load & record shall be made in respect of RPM, oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, voltage, frequency, load current, battery charging, fuel consumption etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Notes for serial item No 32.00 to 33.00 :- (i) DHPP for testing of DG Sets shall be issued by the department under Sch ‘B' free of cost. (ii) Fuel filter, oil filter, bypass filter, water filter, air filter, petroleum jelly, fan belt, fuel pipe, Air cleaner elements complete, Battery legs, gasket, nuts, bolts, claimps & Minor extra items shall be provided by the contractor and cost thereof is deemed to be included in quoted rates by the tenderer. No extra cost shall be admissible for DG set servicing on this accounts. (iii) Engine oil and coolant for replacement/topping up shall be measured and paid for seperatily under relevant item.

Repair to DG Set capacity 75 KVA to 320 KVA installed at under mentioned locations and dismantling of Diesel Engine Generating Set, opening of engine complete for overhauling cleaning, washing, checking of its all parts for serviceability and reassembling all serviceable parts all as original including repalcement of worn out parts and unserviceable parts, nut, bolts, washers and minor parts required for propor functioning of DG Set and same after repair, testing on full load after errection to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge. Note : All defective/unserviceable spare parts and items required for replacement of diesel engine generator in over hauling shall be measured and paid for separately as supply only, labour charges for complete work shall deemed to be included in unit quoted rates and shall be as per sample or existing parts. Location of DG Set Site No 03 AFRU-02 and 306 TRU-01.
