Labour only for for servicing of Solar water heating systems of any types Flat plate collectors type or Evacuated tuve collector type of capacity upto 400 LPD installed at multistorey building (upto G+8) by removing carefully the outer transperent glass plate, removing the collecter plate and tubings /evacuated glass tubings , descaling with standard bio-acid treatment to ensure free flow of water by thermo cyphen system reassembling the same duly provided with inlet and oulet water connections,stopping the leackage by replacing the old unserviceable CPVC pipe/tee/bend/broken glass tubes etc. complete all as specified and directed. M&L for painting of Angle Iron support of solar water heating system of 300/35/100 LPD capacity by removing old /rusted painting with sand paper, providing two coat of red oxide primer after surface preparation, and painting with metallic paint of approved colour all as specified and directed.

Attending complaints on call regarding solar hot water supply such as air lock, line block,overflowing in solar line, repair of GI/CPVC pipe to arest leakage repair of bib taps complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The technician shall attend complaint within 30 minits on call and completion report be conveyed to Engr in Charge or J E E/M before leaving the area.

Replacement of Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick, buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 meters deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 Mtrs below normal ground level connect to galvanised earth lead wire of 4.0 sqmm size by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel up to 7.5 meter length including connected to earth plate including necessary excavation & earthwork, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 earth chamber, 40 mm thick RCC cover 1:2:4 mix with 6mm dia nominal reinforcement @ 150 mm c/c both ways etc complete all as shown in electrical plate No 5, connected to earthing test point complete including testing on completion all as specified.

Disconnection of electric connections from DG set of any description and in any position, for servicing, taking out & removing unserviceable/defective parts/spares, cleaning, servicing, de-scaling of water jackets, oiling and greasing of necessary parts, refixing the serviceable parts in position after servicing, replacement of unserviceable parts including draining-out of existing engine oil and filling new engine oil of same grade and filters, refixing of all accessories , make funtional and testing on full load complete all as directed for following capacity of DG sets as in Item No. 43.00 to 47.00. Note. (i) The quoted rates of the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts. The new replaced parts shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of Sch `A’ as `Supply only ‘ to the extent covered under the respective supply only items here-in- after but quoted rates are inclusive of replacement of small/minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, locking nuts, small springs, `O’ rings, screws/gaskets/ packing /studs etc. (ii) Engine oil shall be drained out carefully, collected by the contractor in his own suitable containers and stored properly for checking serviceability including cleaning of oil sump by pouring kerosene oil all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (iii) Fresh engine oil replaced for DG sets shall be supplied by the contractor as “ Supply only” and shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of Sch ‘A’ . However, cost of filling is deemed to be included under the rates quoted by the contractor for above item. (iv) All servicing of DG set shall be done by reputed staff of OEM. Servicing & test report shall be submitted after each service/ maintenance .
