M&L for chemical earthing complete with copper pipe of dia 50mm and length 3.0m in 3Nos for tripod type with copper strip 25X 3mm inter connected by means of riveting or brazing and protected by GI pipe light grade of suitable size upto the test point i.e. upto 7.5 mtr including providing CPRI certified Jam fill compound 40 Kg in each pipe pit toal 120 Kg and PCC (1:3:6) type C1 earth chamber and earth pit cover 300 x 300 mm connecting to the test point and testing on ground complete and including excavation and earthwork in any tope of soil strata and cleaning of site complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Copper strip of size 25X3mm required to be connected the electrode upto test point shall be passed through GI pipe of suitable size. (ii) Quoted rate deemed to be included the cost of excavation and earth work PCC pit, funnel and cover including testing and commissioning etc. (iii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500mm away from the earth pit and not just on the earth pit and extra cost of additional length of water pipes and fittings junctions, elbow etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate. (iv) Marking and painting of earth pit with iron plate of suitable size is included in quoted rate.

M&L for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrodo 60cmx60cmx3.15mm thick buried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25m below normal ground level with top level of earth plate at depth not less than 1.5m below normal ground level surrounded form all sides by 15cm thick and packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers and electrode connection by using copper strip 20 mm x 3 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron and protected by GI pipe light grade 50mm bore connected to main switch board or main control board and gI pipe light grade 20mm bore for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, 80mm thick pre-cast RCC 1:2:4, type B-1 cover reinforced with hard drawn steel wire fabric weighing not less than 4Kg/sqm in lieu of CI cover, PCC 1:3:6 type C2 pit/chamber including all necessary excavation: and earth work, disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m all as specified and al shown in Electrical Plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part-I completion complete all as specified and directed.. Note:- (i) The unit rate shall deemed to include for Test point, 20mmx3mm copper strip from top of the earth plate up to 7.5 m above ground lever. In case GI protection pipe required is less than 7.5m, no price adjustment shall be made. (ii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500mm away from the earth pit and not just on the earth pit and extra cost of additional length of water pipes and fittings, junctions, elbow etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate. (iii) Marking and painting of Earth pit with iron plate suitable size of including quoted rate.

Earthing complete for transformer/ Panels with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25 meters below normal ground level with top edge of the plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected with and including GI strip 20mm x 6mm ub abd ubckydubg GI pipe 50mm bore light grade as protection pipe (from top of earth plate up to the test point) by means of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI and thimbles, earth plate surrounded by packed layers of charcoal dust and common salt 15cm think all around including top and bottom and watering pipe 20mm bore of GI pipe light grade with funnel and wire mesh, PCC chamber of size 300x300x300mm (top of chamber minimum 15cm above the normal ground level (1:3:6) using 20mm graded stone aggregate and RCC cover (1:2:4) type B-I using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate of 25mm thick with 2 nos MS handles of 12mm ida including necessary excavation/ earth work in any type of soil/rock and as shown in Electrical plate No. 3 of SSR {art -I (2009) testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. (i) Marking and painting of Earth pit with iron plate suitable size of including quoted rate.

Supply and fixing in repair earth continuity copper strip 32mm X 6mm buried in ground and connected with copper strip by means of brazing or fixing it on wall completion complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for reving earthing pit on existing old earthing where pit is completely damaged including excavation, Charcoal, common salt replacement of earth plat of (GI/Copper) as per site requirement and cover 80mm thick pre-cast RCC 1:2:4, type B-1 cover reinforced with hard drawn steel wire fabric weighing not less than 4 Kg/sqm in lieu of CI cover, PCC 1:3:6 type C2 pit/chamber including all necessary excavation and earth work all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement earthing watering funnel, wire mesh for watering the existing earthing etc all as specified and directed

Supply & Fixing Aluminium strip 25 mm X 3.15mm complete with saddles and base insulators (made out of porcelain/rubber) and fixing with screws etc, for roof and down conductors complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The strip shall be connected with complete brazing to test point.

Supply and laying in trenches steel water tubes medium grade valvanised of size 20mm dia with all fittings in trench complete as specified & directed.

S&F gun metal gate or globe valve with iron wheel head screwed both ends for iron pipes incl dismantling of existing UNSV gate valve for 20mm dia pipe completion complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth, for foundation, laying of pipe etc, not exc 10 sqm on plan and getting out in soft/lose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers n exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials (surplus soil) to a distance exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above the starting point completion complete all as specified and directed.
