Regular upkeep and operation of Nisurgruna biogas plant and other hygiene related works in RRCAT campus, Indore.

Important Note:(1)The bidder must possess valid EPF & ESIC registration as per relevant laws. The bidders need to deposit EPF & ESIC with appropriate authority. The reimbursement for the same shall not be made.(2)The payment of wages to labourers should be made through bank. 2) In case of unsatisfactory quality of work, reduced rate shall be applied as per clause 16 of Section 5 of the tender. The decision of Engineer regarding reduced rate shall be final & binding. 3) In case of non performance of work at any or all locations no payment shall be made for non performed work and penalty shall also be levied for the non performed work as per the quoted rate.

Work for treatment of wet waste through bio gas plant located in residential area, regularly by deploying minimum one trained operator and two helper on all days except Sundays and National holidays by engaging 3 nos. trained man power including final segregation & cutting/chopping of garbage, as required , bringing bio degradable waste from garbage pits and Guest House to bio gas plant and dumping the same in to collecting hopper, churning the bio degradable wastes, watering using normal or hot water as required, operating the blower in coordination with guesthouse officials, operating the compressor as required, collecting manure and staking the same within nearby nursery or any other place in RRCAT premises, keeping the surrounding clean, determination of PH on daily basis etc complete all in close consultation with the engineer of RRCAT or his authorised representative including maintaining the log book, giving daily feedback about the receipt of waste etc including tooles, takles, safety kit, Ph strips and rendering assistance in minor maintenance work as & when required complete with due compliance of labour laws, security regulations, contract conditions, specifications and as directed by EIC

Note: 1) The contractor should note that the wet garbage is generated from more than 1078 houses, colony cafeteria, vegetable shops, guest house complex etc and its quantity from Tuesday to Saturday is up to 700 kg per day and on Monday it may touch 1200 kg.The contractor should quote the rate accordingly. 2) The payment shall be based on calendar month whether it is of 31 days or less than 31 days. 3) The contractor need to deploy minumum two labourers and one supervisors as mentioned in scope of specification to carry out the work and shall coordinate for timely receipt of waste, timely supply of bio gas, timely intimation regarding maintenance requirements, if any. 4) The contractor shall note that only bio degradable waste shall be poured in the bins. Any damage to plant due to use of non bio degradable shall be repaired by contractor at his own cost for which no payment shall be made.

Servicing, repairing & attending emergency break down of Wet grinder, compressor, weigh bridg & blower set with induction motor including oiling greasing, replacement of accessories like bearing, jali, grinder impelar, batary of weigh bridg, nut & bolts as required, replacement of belt & oil (once in a year) etc at Bio gas plant including cost of material, labours and tools etc. all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Motor rewinding is excluded from scope of work. .

Removing of chokes/blockages from sewerage lines, manholes, inspection chambers, W.C., gully traps, rain water pipes and floor traps etc.by bamboo / M.S. rods / mechanical means/ choke clearing agent so as to provide the easy flow of sewage/waste water etc.including opening of doorbend / jali and refixing the same after clearing of chokage, collection & disposal of debris complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Disposing by mechanical transport ; the garbage consisting of debris, rubbish, packing boxes, grass etc. from domestic house / office to the predetermined locations in the RRCAT campus within 3 Km. lead including loading, unloading, leveling, carrying by mechanical transport as required to maintain cleanliness around houses, parks and buildings in RRCAT campus including cost of all tools and tackles etc., complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge ( Carriage capacity shall be around 5.00 Cum.).

Cleaning and washing of sewer lines, inspection chambers, man holes etc. including clearing the blockages, collection & disposal of debris if any in the lines by rodding and applying the required water pressure using tankers with hose to ensure easy flow of sewage / waste water etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Note: 1) Measurement shall be taken along the centre line of pipes including the length of centre line of benching in chambers cleaned.

Cleaning and washing of sewer lines, inspection chambers, man holes etc. including clearing the blockages, collection & disposal of debris if any in the lines by hiring and deploying hydraulic pressuring unit mounted on trucks applying the required water pressure to ensure easy flow of sewage / waste water etc and pumping out the sewage with hose and collected in a carrier for further disposal in oxidation pond etc complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

1) Note: Measurement shall be taken on per job basis.This item shall be applicable for cleaning of medium size septic tank also.

Disposing debries, non value scrap, garbage, heaps of earth, rublles, rotton woodlogs and the like by deploying excavator with Operator and Khalasi including , leveling and dressing the ground, any where in RRCAT premises including the cost of all required tools & tackles, hire charges, fuel, necessary safety kit etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Note: (1) The payment shall be made for the hours of work performed by the excavator at RRCAT's site.The time at which the excavator arrives and starts at site and shuts down shall be noted for payment purposes.

(2) The cost incurred for deployment of labourers, excavator ladders, safety kit etc, conveying arrangements, payment of all taxes, insurance etc shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Disposing debries, non value scrap, garbage, heaps of earth, rublles,rotton woodlogs and the like by deploying excavator with Operator and Khalasi including colecting the same in a tractor with driver and Khalasi for conveying the same to low lying areas including deploying labourers for unloading the material from tractor, leveling and dressing the ground at both the places i.e. at lifting point as well as at point of disposal so as to carry out the assigned work any where in RRCAT premises including the cost of all required tools & tackles,hire charges,fuel,necessary safety kit etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Note: (1) The payment shall be made for the hours of work performed by the excavator at RRCAT's site.The time at which the excavator arrives and starts at site and shuts down shall be noted for payment purposes.

(2) The cost incurred for deployment of labourers, excavator, tractor, ladders, safety kit etc,conveying arrangements, payment of all taxes, insurance etc shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(3) The contractor shall deploy as many number of labourers as required to ensure that work gets finished promptly.

(4) This item shall not be operated for items of dismentaling works,earth work,area dressing, routine garbage disposal etc as the same is covered under respective items.

Reseeding of biogas plant using decayed dung of domestic animal including bringing one tractor trolley load of approximately 3.00 cum dung, transporting up to site, crushing the lumps, preparing slurry in a 100 liter tank by pouring water after putting dung to one fourth level of tank and stirring using bamboo stick till uniform consistency is achieved, pouring the slurry in to primary tank of bio gas plant, repeating the process until entire 3.00 cum of dung is used including cleaning the dumping area etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Maintaining cleanliness around all types of public buildings situated in RRCAT campus by collecting of garbage from liter bins, lifting all waste material, packing boxes, garbage and waste papers, etc. from all around 10m from the building, and transporting manually the same to the predetermined locations / pits near by the buildings on all working days except Sunday and national holidays including cleaning of terrace, rain water pipe, storm water drains, removing of chokes etc. in by deploying 07 nos. labours and 01 Superviosr with transportation facility daily in close consultation with the engineer of RRCAT or his authorised representative including maintaining the log book, cost of empty bages for lifting of waste, tools and safety & PPE kit, Uniform, maintaing labour laws, contract conditions specifications etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge Note:- 1)The payment shall be based on calendar month whether it is of 31 days or less than 31 days 2) Supervisor shall plan his job in such a way that he shall personally be in touch with labour for giving guidance. 3) Seven (07) labour and One (01) supervisor shall be available for full working day to operate this items. 4) In case non avialability of superviosor or labour the recovery shall be made @ Double of the minimum Skilled labour and Unskilled labour wages prevailing at the time of execution of work for each superviosor or labour per day basis 5) The Superviosr must have transportation (Byke/Scooty) facility.
