Dismantling of existing bituminous layer on road by cold milling 210mm thickness in full width from Km.76150 to 85000 excluding deck slab of bridge and 55mm thick in deck slab and planning the surface after cold milling, transportation to the hot mix plant site, hauling, stock pilling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant after carrying out necessary checks and evalyation, adding fresh material including rejuvenators as required, mixing in batch type hot mix plant, transporting and laying at site and compacting to the required grade, level and thickness, all as specified in clause No. 519 of MORT&H-2013 . Note:- The quantity of reclaimed material shall be considered minimum 80% of the theoretical volume, The reclaimed material shall be use 30% of total qty of DBM as per clause no 519 of MORT&H specification. Reclaimed material use for DBM shall be issued free of cost and balance left out material shall be property of the contractor & shall be issued as per issued rate/recovery items.
Earth work excavation in ordinary soil exclusive of compensation of earth. Kassi work undressed involving an average horizontal throw upto 2 metres, and an average vertical lift upto 0.5 metre including breaking of clods. Excavated earth may be reused on berms and disposed off surplus earth with all lead and lift including dressing complete in territorial as per direction of Engineer-in-charge will be incidental to work and nothing will be paid. Dismantling of road 150mm thick including soling and wearing coat, screening and stacking of old serviceable material, complete in all respect (HSR 24.37)

Providing and laying 90 mm Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam in one layers with the use of reclaimed excavated material from cold milling of existing bituminous layers to the extent up to 30 percent (30%) of the required quantity after carrying out necessary checks and evaluation, adding fresh coarse/ fine aggregates and bitumen of VG-30 grade to have overall minimum 4.00% bitumen content and including rejuvenators as required, mixing in a batch type hot mix plant with appropriate arrangment for use of RAP, transporting and laying at site and compacting to the required grade, level and thickness, all as specified in clause 519 of MORT&H specification 5th revision-2013. If bitumen required is more than 4.00% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work.
Providing & Laying 40mm thick compacted Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with appropriate rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 507 MoRT&H specification (5th Revision) 2013 for road and bridge works (5th Revision)2013 using minimum 5.4% to bitumen grade CRMB - 55 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects including cost of bitumen instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work.
Providing and laying 25 mm thick mastic asphalt wearing course with paving grade meeting the requirements given in table 500-39, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning the surface, including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine-grained hard stone chipping of 13.2 mm nominal size at the rate of 0.005 cum per 10 sqm and at an approximate spicing of 10cm center to center in both directions, pressed into surface when the temperature if surface not less than 100°C protruding 1mm to 4mm over mastic surface, all complete as per clause 516 of MORT&H specification 2013.
Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflector zing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3). Note: - Before start of work the contractor shall give brand, batch number, manufacturing date of the material to be used along with a photocopy of bill duly signed by the contractor and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Pavement Marker (Cat Eyes) Moulded shank raised pavement markers made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 KG tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No. W/NH/33023/10-97-DO III dt. 11.06.1997. Recovery items: The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of brick on end edging have been have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency However, the reserve price is as under :- i) Stone matel @ 671 /- cum.
