AMC of Horticulture work for CSIR Science Centre and CSIR Complex

Complete annual maintenance of the entire CSIR Complex campus including HRDG Guest House area garden features of the garden area (as detailed below) i.e. lawn, trees, rosary, shrubs, hedge, flower beds, creepers etc. and other garden features including pruning, watering, hoeing, making of plants basin, manuring, trimming, cleaning of hedges/plants/ beds, spraying of insecticides, fungicides, weeding, mowing, top dressing of lawn with good earth and manure, hedge clipping and removal of the garden waste as per direction and satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge (excluding the cost of good earth, manure, sludge, yamuna sand and fertilizer) to maintain the plants, hedge and lawns in good and healthy conditions at all the time during the maintenance period but including the cost of all T & P (lawn mover, hedge cutter, etc) required for proper maintenance. Lawn & Gardens of CSIR Complex & HRDG Guest House Campus. (Regularly one mali will be present during the whole contract period except Sunday & National Holiday for carrying out the item no.1.01 of above mentioned work, if required more mali may be deployed as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge site in addition to one regular mali ) Note:- Payement will be paid on quarterly basis as per following: Amount to be paid=(Quoted amount for twelve monthx3 months)/12 months

Maintenance of potted plants cement pots & Earthen pot of CSIR Science Centre including application of good earth, manure, insecticide, pesticide and fertilizer, removing of dry parts by pruning, cleaning dry leaves and displaying in appropriate place and replacement of broken pots coloring of pots and change of location of pots and replacing with fresh plants as and when required ( Materials shall be provided by the department) as per direction of Engineer- in- charge. Note:- Payement will be paid on quarterly basis as per following: Amount to be paid=(Quoted amount for twelve monthx3 months)/12 months

Note-1:-Regularly one mali will be present during the whole contract period except Sunday & National Holiday for carrying out the item no.2 (2.01 to 2.03) & 3(3.01 to 3.02) of above mentioned work (This mali will be deployed Three days at CSIR Science Centre & Three days at CSIR Complex to maintain the potted plants). Note-2:- In addition to Note 1 above, all the earthen pots & cement pots mentioned under Item No. 2 (2.01 to 2.03) & 3(3.01 to 3.02 will be painted with terracoata snowcem ( to be provided by contractor), quarterly or as per direction of Engineer in Charge.

Maintenance of vertical garden including preparation of plastic pot with manuring/ fumigation weeding hoewing watering planting of baby plants including spraying of insecticide and pesticide and Harvesting. (Note:-Only Good Earth, Manure, plants, Fertilizer, will be provided by the Department and other T & P material/articles shall be provided by contractor) and as per direction of Engineer in charge

Supplying and stacking of good earth at site including royalty and carriage upto 5 km complete (earth measured in stacks will be reduced by 20% for payment).

Supplying and stacking sludge at site including royalty and carriage upto 5 km complete (sludge measured in stacks will be reduced by 8% for payment).

Supplying and stacking at site dump manure from approved source, including carriage upto 5 km complete (manure measured in stacks will be reduced by 8% for payment) :Screened through sieve of I.S. designation 16 mm

Edging with bricks laid dry length wise, including required excavation, refilling, consolidating with hand packing and reading surplus earth neatly within a lead of 50 m : Common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5

Providing and Displaying Poinsettia dwarf multi head, having upto 30 cm ht., with 3 to 4 branches with fully different colored top with fresh & healthy foliage well developed in 20 cm Earthen Pot/Plastic Pot and as per direction of the officer-in-charge

Providing and displaying of Araucaria cookie plant, having ht. 60 cm to 75 cm, straight, well developed, fresh and healthy with lush green leaves from bottom to top in 20 cm size of Earthen pot / Plastic pot. & as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and displaying of Areca Palm plant, having ht. 1.20 m to 1.50 m with 5 to 6 suckers, well developed, fresh and healthy with lush green foliage in 25 cm size of Earthen pot / Plastic pot & as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
