Note:- (a) MS Pipe/DI will be measured and paid for seprately under respective items. (b) Permission required from civil authrority/department prior to executing the work is the responsibility of contractor and the cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the contractor. Supply, Laying, Jointing, Welding, Testing and Commisioning of MS Pipe (Heavy Class 'C') as per IS:1239 of following size laid in trenches or in Horizontal/Vertical/Inclined position or laying in floors for connection of suction/delivery line including taking out the old unserviceable pipes complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (a) MS Flanges and Fabrication work shall be measured and paid separately. (b) Earth work and Joints shall be measured and paid separetely (c) Layout plan for laying of MS pipe shall be given by EIC in writing. M&L for testing of drinking water being collected from local source (bore wells/shallow wells/under ground sumps) one test in one month for one source in the area under AGE (U) W/S No-III as directed by EIC in the area under AGE(U) W/S No III and submission of detailed test report to the office of Engineer-in-Charge. (a) Collection of water from different sources of water ie Sump, bore wells & shallow wells in sterilized bottle and testing in Govt Approved laboratory as mentioned in specification. (b) Carrying out minimum essential testing of water as per IS 10500-1991 mandatory for chemical colour, odour, taste, turbidity, Lead, PH value TDS total hardness, iron, chloride, fluride and residual free chlorine and Bacteriological total Collie from organisms per 100 ml (MPN) and E Collie in 100 ml) and submission to this office with specific recommendation regarding suitability of water for drinking purpose. Note :- Rate quoted shall deemed to be included for : - (i) Cost of sterilized bottle as required. (ii) To and fro transportation charges for collection of samples from source(sump/bore well/shallow wells) (iii) Contractor will required to visit the site of AGE (U) W/S-III area for working out number of sources i.e borewells/shallow wells/under ground sumps etc. Approximately 30 Number of tests will be carried out in eleven months period (iv) Period of testing of water sources is of 11 (Eleven) months from the commencement of work. (v) Mode of payment: - Payment will be made after completion of work as one JOB for 11 (Eleven) months for number of tests. Part payment will be allowed after dividing number of months in quoted unit rate.
