SERVICING OF ROLLING SHUTTERS: Servicing of the following type of rolling shutters of all sizes up to maximum size of 6m x 7m including scaffolding by dismantling for over-hauling of individual parts for repairing and refixing after repairs i.e. top hood shaft cage, shaft case, shaft brackets, springs, main curtain with lathe or mid bar type grills, wicket gate, side guides bottom rails, gear units, bearings, electric motors, starters and thoroughly cleaning all the components, adjusting the tensioning springs, if required overhauling or repairing shaft and gear units, re-conditioning end clips, re-aligning curtain ends, reconditioning dents if any, on the surface bottom rail and side guides, repairing the starter, inspecting, taking out and replacing the damaged or defective components (replacement of parts at extra rate is shown under item no. 2 below), ensuring proper locking arrangements from both side and out side including all welding, drilling, straightening, grinding, scaffolding, ladders, tools, tackles, with all consumables, such as lubricants, kerosene, grease etc. and all hardwares such as nuts, bolts, rivets, screws, washers, keys, etc. making good any damages to civil works, cleaning, oiling, greasing and demonstrating proper functioning of the shutters after each service such as nuts, bolts, rivets, screws, washers, keys, etc. and necessary scaffolding etc. all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge at site. Note: 1) The measurement for sevicing rolling shutters will be as per structural openings only. Hood, Guides etc. will not be measured separately. 2) Measurement will be done once only for entire contract period.
Electrically Operated with lathes or grilled curtain, Mechanical Gear Operated and Pull & Push Type rolling shutters etc. i.e. all types of Rolling Shutters.
PROVIDING, SUPPLYING AND REPLACING PARTS OF ROLLING SHUTTERS: Providing, Supplying and replacing in position wherever required the following parts or spares after removing the damaged old part carefully including all labour, taxes, duties, scaffolding, transport, welding, drilling, grinding, tools, tackles etc. and with applying one coat of primer wherever required, including transporting the dismantled M.S. scrap in and depositing to Trombay stores as directed by the Engineer at site.
Providing & fixing G.I. Lathes of sections 75mm wide & 18 guage thick
Providing & fixing G.I. Bottom Rails (Pressed type 10 gauge thick with locking arrangement, handles, etc., in both ends and sides).
Providing, supplying, fabricating and assembling Shaft Asembly for Rolling Shutters using Heavy M.S. Pipes, springs & ring pully complete including erection.
Providing, supplying, fabricating and fixing M.S. / G.I. Hood Cover with 0.90 mm thick M.S. / G.I. sheet with supports for rolling shutters complete including erection
Providing, supplying and fixing M.S. Guide Channals with supports for existing rolling shutters complete including erection.
Providing & fixing Gear Warms
Providing, supplying and fixing 250 mm dia (10") Gear Wheel to existing rolling shutters complete including erection.
Providing, fixing by welding M.S. Handles for Rolling shutters
Providing, supplying and fixing Coiled Springs for rolling shutter up to 5.00 metres height made from best steel in Rolling shutter Shaft including necessary bolt & nuts complete including erection.
Providing, supplying and fixing Dead Locks in rolling shutters necessary bolt & nuts complete including erection.
Providing, supplying and fixing Ball Bearing to existing rolling shutters complete including erection.
Providing, supplying and fixing Gear Box complete set with gear wheel,warm, handle etc full assembly complete including erection.
Providing, supplying and fixing Side Brackets for Rolling Shutters Complete including erection.
SUPPLYING AND FIXING ROLLING SHUTTERS: Supplying and fixing Rolling shutters of approved make as per ISI standards made out of required size of MS lathes 18 gauge interlocked together throughout entire length and jointed together at the end by end locks mounted on specially designed pipes shaft with brackets, side guides and arrangements for inside & outside locking with push and pull operation complete including the cost of providing and fixing necessary springs of required size and M. S top cover of required thickness for rolling shutters as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: The measurement for rolling shutters will be as per structural openings only. Hood , Guides etc. will not be measured separately.

Rolling shutters GEAR OPERATED with handles including top hood 0.90 mm thick.
MOTORIZED ARRANGEMENT OF ROLLING SHUTTERS: Extra over the cost of rolling shutters for providing and fixing motorized arrangements (with remote & manual operation) including designing & providing control panels, limit switches, required wiring and cables from panel to motor and required size of shaft etc of approved make all as per standard specifications including commisioning and testing complete as directed by the Engineer-in- charge.(only power supply point will be provided)
For rolling shutters up to 15.00 sq.m opening area.
GRILLED ROLLING SHUTTER: Extra for providing grilled rolling shutter manufactured out of 8 mm dia MS Bar instead of lathes as per specifications, design approved by the Engineer-in-charge complete
DISMANTLING DOORS & WINDOWS: Dismantling doors, windows and clear storey openings (steel / wood) shutter including chowkhats, architraves, holdfasts etc. complete and stacking within 100 m lead (full windows) of area 3.00 Sq.M and below
REMOVING EXISTING ROLLING SHUTTERS: Removing existing damaged rolling shutter and transporting the same to srap yard / Trombay Village Stores in truck or tempo. The rates are inclusive loading unloading complete all as directed.
Dismantling the existing STRUCTURAL STEEL WORK at all levels in M. S. channels, plates, angles, flats, R.S. joists, bolts etc. including scaffolding, cutting of structural steel members by gas cutting, removing the nuts, bolts etc. as required, transporting the same to Trombay village Stores complete as directed.
STRUCTURAL STEEL WORK: Structural Steel Work in door and Window frames/ grills /purlins flat, tees, square bars using M.S. angles of required size, including cutting, fabrication, welding, erecting & fixing in position with necessary M.S. holdfasts, embedding in concrete, painting all steel work with a coat of approved steel primer etc. complete (M.S. hold fasts will not be measured separately for payment). (All structural steel shall be ISI mark)
HOLLOW METAL FLUSH STEEL DOORS: Providing, supplying and fixing hollow metal flush steel doors 40 mm thick of approved make consisting of door frame and shutters and all hardware fittings, frame made out of 14g thick G.I sheets and shutters made of 16g thick sheets, hollow portion filled with puff, including necessary stiffners in shutters and frame, vision panel of specified size with 4 mm glass and clip on pressed steel frame for vision panels, fixing 4 nos heavy duty stainless steel 304 grade ball bearing hinges, mortise / dead lock of approved make, a pair of 200 mm long stainless steel handles, 250 mm long stailless steel tower bolt, etc. frame hollow portion filled with PCC 1:2:4, necessary hold fast embedded in concrete, fixing in concrete with anchor fastners. finished with Polyurethane painting of approved colour complete all as per drawings and specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
PERIODIC GENERAL SERVICE OF AWNINGS including checking of the Awnings, oiling, greasing, maintaining proper functioning of gear box, locks, knobs, front channel, brackets, Fabric Washing etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
WATER JET CLEANING OF AWNINGS WITH REQUIRED PRESSURED WATER JET and with the help of portable pressure jet developing machine & power cable of sufficient length supplied by the contractor. Power supply for the cleaning will be as per Schedule-A and as available at site.
SUPPLYING & FIXING FITTINGS / FIXTURES OF AWNINGS with suitable screws, nut-bolts, clips, Poder Coated attachments & accessories of Approved Brand etc. as and when required for proper functioning of the Awning including testing as directed by Engineering-in-Charge.

LEAD CHARGES FOR LEAD UPTO 4 KM: Lead charges for lead exceeding 3 km but not exceeding 4 km by mechanical transport includinmg loading, unloading, stacking, levelling etc. (Note: The rates in respect of Item are applicable for NET Quantities arrived at after making deduction for voids @ 30% from corresponding TRUCK Measurement). Note: Trasporting of debries at disposal ground, disposing, stacking, leveling & statutery charges if any will be responsibility of the Contractor and no extra charges shall be paid for the same.

CARRYING OUT MISCELLANEOUS FITTER / CARPENTRY JOBS: Carrying out Manual Misc. Fitter / Carpentry jobs like minor repairs, fixing departmental issue fitting and fixtures etc. as and when required and as directed by the Project Engineer. 15.a) Labours shall bring necessary carpentary tools, minimum materials such as washher, taflon tape, rawlpludge, screws, clips etc. (15.b) Payment shall be made as per the Log book duly approved by the Enginner in charge. (15.c) Contrator shall arrange necessary Police Verification Certificate for the workers engaged for thess work. (15.d) The rates shall be including the cost of Minimum Daily Wages of the Workers including EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Facility, Accidental Insurance Cover, Medical Insurances, Applicable Taxes, Cess, GST etc. Payment of this Item will be paid based up on the produced document of online salary transfer to the bank account of the labours. (15.e) Payment of this Item will be paid by-monthly/quarterly based up on the produced document of online salary transfer to the bank account of Labour/Worker including successful payment/transfer of their contribution of EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Facility, Accidental Insurance Cover, Medical Insurances, Applicable Taxes, Cess, GST & OT etc. (15.f) Contractor shall have to prodive 2pairs of complete dress i.e. 2sets of Shirt & Pants to each Labour/Worker, Dress Code as approved by the EIC and Labour/Worker use those dress for their working hours only. Labour/Worker should regularly come for the work in a cleaned dress as provided to them.

Carrying out Civil Engineering Works like SURVEYING, LEVELLING, CHECKING OF FORMWORK, FABRICATION, REINFORCEMENT, WITNESSING SAMPLE RETRIEVAL & TESTING, PREPARATION OF RA BILLS, ENSURING CONCRETE INGREDIENT RATIO IN RCC / PCC WORKS, BRICKWORK, PLASTER, FLOORING AND OTHER CIVIL WORKS AT SITE including preparation of tender documents, draft work order, agreements, compiling, binding, labeling and keeping data in computer as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (16.1) Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Graduate Engineer (Civil) / Diploma holder (Civil) / Licentiate in Civil / Construction Engineering (Civil), Technology conducted by board of Technical Examinations / University / Autonomous Govt. / Govt. Recognized BE/B.Tech. College / Polytechnic / Institute etc. with minimum 2 years experience. (16.2) Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Engineer per month for a job for 6 working days per week for minimum 08:30 hours per day with 30 minutes of break. (16.3) Mode of measurement: Measurement will be as per job basis and part thereof. Deployment of one engineer per month will be measured as one job. (16.4) Engineer shall bring necessary Pen, Calculator etc. as provided by contractor. (16.5) Payment shall be made as per the Log Book duly approved by the Enginner in charge. (16.6) Contrator shall arrange necessary Police Verification Certificate for the Engineer engaged in this work. (16.7) The rates shall be including the cost of Minimum Daily Wages of an Engineer including EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Accidental Insurance Cover, Medical Insurances, Applicable Taxes, Cess, GST etc. Payment of this Item will be paid based up on the produced document of online salary transfer to the bank account of the Engineer. (16.8) Payment of this Item will be paid by-monthly/quarterly based up on the produced document of online salary transfer to the bank account of Engineer including successful payment/transfer of their contribution of EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Facility, Accidental Insurance Cover, Medical Insurances, Applicable Taxes, Cess, GST etc.
SYNTHETIC ENAMEL PAINT: Providing and Painting two coats of Synthetic Enamel Paint on steel surfaces of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade over a primer coat including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
PICK-UP LIGHT NON-AC VEHICLE VIZ. TATA ARIA / TATA SUMO GOLD OR SUITABLE VEHICLE OF BS-IV CATEGORY WITH DRIVER on hiring basis for the use of Engineer-in-Charge, Site Engineers for 5 days a week from 8:00am to 20:00pm for carrying out day-to day official movement within Mumbai, inside Anushaktinagar & BARC Premises. 18.1. The Vehicle shall be used by Engineer-in-Charge, Site Engineers and departmental staff only. 18.2. The make and Model of "TATA Aria or similar vehicle" should be of year 2014 or later (with BS-IV norms) for a minimum run of 1200 Kms per month.18.3. The basic price for "TATA Aria or similar vehicle" for 1200 Kms run per month with Driver . 18.4. The actual usage shall be reckoned from the Headquarter at Civil Project Unit of BARC Hospital located in New Service Building and end there itself during official use.18.5. The vehicle shall be maintained in good running condition with good upholstery, fitness, good tyres and shall commensurate with the image of BARC. The tyres of the vehicles shall be replaced periodically and always with brand new tyres and not retreated ones.18.6. The vehicle should be free from all sorts of defects and will be subjected to inspection by a representative of BARC whose decision is final and binding as regards suitability of that particular vehicle. 18.7. The vehicle should be with a board "ON GOVERNMENT OF INDIA DUTY". TATA Aria/TATA Sumo Gold" should preferably be in White Colour.18.8. The cost of Fuel/Oil/Lubricant, maintenance of vehicle, wages of driver, all taxes, toll charges, parking charges, comprehensive insurance, etc. shall be payable by the Contractor and BARC shall have no liability other than monthly charges towards usage of the vehicle.18.9. Since the driver is engaged along with the vehicle, the contractor should required to engage skilled driver possessing valid driving license (Preferably professional) and also submitted the following documents: 18.9.a. Registration Certificate of the vehicle.18.9.b. Driver License of the driver.18.9.c. Valid Police Verification Certificate (PVC) in respect of the driver.18.9.d. Name, Address and Telephone No. of the driver.18.9.e. Comprehensive Insurance Policy and Road Tax receipts of the vehicle.18.10. The driver's of the vehicle shall maintain Log book supplied by BARC and is required to obtain the signature of the user whenever the vehicle is used.18.11. You are required to deploy same vehicle on day-to-day basis.18.12. No revision of price shall be entertained during the period of contract.18.13. In the event of breakdown of vehicle, alternative vehicle should be provided immediately. In case of failure to provide alternative vehicle within 2 hours, this centre would hire a vehicle on daily basis and the expenditure would be debited to your account besides imposing penalty of Rs. 500/- per day.18.14. In case of absence of vehicle even for a day, proportionate payment towards a day will be deducted from monthly bill besides imposing a penalty of Rs. 500/-per day.18.15. The charges for Extra Kms. over and above 1200 Kms., is fixed to Rs. 7.00 (Rupees Seven only) per Km..18.16. Since the Officers of CED, BARC are expected to use the vehicle on 5 days a week, the vehicle shall be kept free on Saturday & Sundays and necessary maintenance may be undertaken accordingly.18.17. The Contractor should have one spare driver having valid PVC for replacement in case of emergency, sickness etc. of the regular Drivers.
