REPAIRS TO ACCESS ROAD IN AIRFIELD AREA AT AFS TAMBARAM

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinfoced) of any description and in any postion not otherwise specifically provided for and complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC 1:4:8, type D-2, (using 40 mm graded coarse aggregate), 100mm thick,as in sub base to path complete all as specified and directed.

Removing building materials etc. to a distance of 1.5km or under, beyond the lead included in the rates, including loading, unloading and stacking at the destination. complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Cement concrete work in pavement/hard-standing of flexural strength 34kg/per square centimetre in field using minimum cement content of 340 kg of cement per cubic metre,thickness of concrete 25 cm or less complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Forming Contraction (Dummy joints) 65 x 10mm filled with sealing compound Grade A complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Forming Construction joint 30mm deep x 10mm wide filled with sealing compound grade A complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Finishing surface of concrete roads, pavements, by brooming complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges exc 30mm in depth making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous of grade VG 30 macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blend with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) Complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for preparing black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with paving bituminous @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for Bituminious premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm thick (consolidated thickness) with 5.5 % binder content by weight of total mix using bitumen of grade VG-30, rolled and compacted with 8 to not exc 12 tonne power road roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed. Notes :- (i) The mix shall be mixed in computerised hot mix plant and laid with mechanical paver only. (ii) The mix shall be designed by job mix formula. (iii) Cost of testing charges, materials and transportaion etc. for job mix formula and independent testing during execution of work shall be inclusive in the unit rate quoted and no extra payment shall be made on this account.
