Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cu. m, getting out in hard/dense soil, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance n exc 50 m and making good surface.

M&L for PCC M-7.5 grade (Nominal mix) using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in base complete.

M&L for PCC M-10 grade (Nominal mix) using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling & mass concrete.

M&L for PCC M-15 grade (Nominal mix) using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in coping of size 300x300x300 including necessary form work complete.

M&L for scraping, scretching, cleaning the old paint, preparation of the steel surface for repainting. Applying two coats of aluminium paint on 09 Mtr long steel tubular pole and writing pole Nos. including applying one coat of cement base paint on PCC muff all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and erecting steel tubular swaged poles with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & washers as per IS 2713 (Part-II) 1980 made out of mild steel tubing, type 410 SP-31 (9.0 metre long) and applying two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer & applying one coat of cement base paint on concreate surface/PCC muff including preparation and marking pole No on pole. The embedded portion of pole shall be painted with two coats of black bitumnous paint complete all as specified. Note :- Excavation, earthwork and PCC etc. shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of this BOQ.

Supplying, laying or fixing or passing through pipe, testing and commissioning XLPE insulated, steel tape/wire armoured heavy duty electric underground cable, 1100 volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of following nominal cross sectional area :- Note :- Excavation and earthwork, PCC cable cover, sand cushioning etc shall be measured and paid separtely under relevant item of this BOQ.

Excavating in trenches n. exc 1.5m wide & n. exc 1.5mm depth for laying of cable and getting out in any type of soil complete.

Removing surplus excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing at a level not exceeding 1.50 meter above the starting point complete all as directed.

M&L for sand cushioning to under ground cable in trenches in layers of 8 cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cm deep after laying and stretching the cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge. Note:- Measurement shall be taken after gentling puning of sand.

Supplying and laying reinforced precast concrete cable cover class LV type 1 with flat size 250 mm x 150 mm x 40 mm complete all as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of LED street light fitings 45 Watt complete with including 1.5 mtr long 40mm dia GI Medium grade pipe bracket made to shape and fixed pole with 2 Nos 50x60mm flat iron clamp including PVC insulated and sheathed flat twin core solid aluminium conductor cable of size 1.50 sqmm from fitting to poles/junction box complete all as specified and directed .

Supply and fixing in replacement of LED street light fitings 30 Watt complete with including 1.5 mtr long 40mm dia GI Medium grade pipe bracket made to shape and fixed pole with 2 Nos 50x60mm flat iron clamp including PVC insulated and sheathed flat twin core solid aluminium conductor cable of size 1.50 sqmm from fitting to poles/junction box complete all as specified and directed .

Supply and fixing in replacement of LED street light fitings 25 Watt complete with including 1.5 mtr long 40mm dia GI Medium grade pipe bracket made to shape and fixed pole with 2 Nos 50x60mm flat iron clamp including PVC insulated and sheathed flat twin core solid aluminium conductor cable of size 1.50 sqmm from fitting to poles/junction box complete all as specified and directed .

Supply and fix in replacemnt sheet moulding compound junction box shock and rust proof, termite resistant, tamper proof single phase, two wire rating of size 250 mm x 200 mm x 105 mm complete with one no. MCB SP 6 Amp including non metallic clamps and GI nut bolts and washers of suitable size and fixed on pole /wall complete. Make:- Sintex Cat part No GSJB 2520 or equivalent in Hensel/ABB.

M&L die cutting wild grass, bushes, creaper, unwanted vegetation from inside / surrounding of E/M installations, near transformers, pole structures etc including cutting creapers from barbed / cattle fencing of the installations as when directed and removing of unwanted material from installation compound and depositing where directed. (Note : (a) The item shall be operated maximum three times in entire period of contract in the same installations. Area measured separately each time).

M&L & tools for trimming tree branches upto 100 mm girth of any location around existing HT/LT OH lines giving clearance of 1.5 m on all sides complete. Note:- Trimming of tree branches irrespective in numbers in each tree shall be measured as one unit).

Material and labour for glow sign boards for E/M installtions made up of retroreflective material (blue colour) fixed on stainless sheet of size 1.5 mtr x 1.0 x 3 mm including mounting arrangement with stainless steel pipe of 20 mm for board beadings and 40 mm size for vertical erection of length 2.5 mtrs including connected civil work like digging foundations, PCC etc required for vertical erection of sign board and writing the letters on sign board in white all as directed.

Taking down unserviceable LED street/ security/flood light fittings of any type/wattage/make etc fitted on LT poles, High Mast light poles, building etc for repairing including complete dismantling, checking for repair/replacement of unserviceable parts as required and making the LED light fittings operational to give rated illumination by replacing unserviceable spare parts and refixing the same at existing location or any other location as directed at site and making electrical connections with existing wire complete all as directed. Notes - (i). Cost of taking down carefully from existing position after disconnecting electric connections, sealing cable ends, bringing to MES store yard (If required for repair), is deemed to be included in this item quoted. (ii) Cost of supply and fixing of major items required to make the lights serviceable shall be measured and paid separately under item No 33.01 to 33.04 of this schedule. (iii). Cost of items or works not mentioned under item 33.01 to 33.04 and however required to make the lights serviceable will be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to the department and cost thereof shall deemed to be included in the rate quoted against this item.
