Field Test Kit (FTK) FTK for pH, Total dissolved solid, Turbidity, Chloride, Total Alkalinity, Total Hardness, Nitrate, Iron, Residual Chlorine #The test kit should be light weight, water proof, easy to carry from being compact & portable with a handle to hold. #The test kit should not require any kind of energy. # The colour comparator chart should be distinct & colour variations should be clearly visible. # The chemicals, reagents and other consumables supplied along the FTK should be sufficient enough to conduct 100 no’s (minimum) of tests for each parameter. # The consumables / chemical reagents should be ready to use and easy to carry out regular tests without making any special type of preparation by the non-technical personnel. #Minimum expiry period should not be less than 18 months from the date of delivery. #To ensure quality the FTK should have been evaluated y any of the CSIR Lab / University / IITs / BIS / NABL accredited laboratories.
