Commercial-Compliance

   EMD :- Firm shall submit EMD amount @2% of the estimated value of the tender rounded off to nearest higher Rs 10/-. Please note that submission of EMD is exempted only to firms having MSEs registered for tendered item/Indian ordinance factories/Other Railway and Government Departments/PSUs owned by Ministry of Railways and PSUs for the group of items that are manufactured by them. Please read carefully correction slip no. 5 regarding Earnest Money Deposit & Security Deposit which is applicable in this case. Please note that offer without EMD shall be summarily rejected hence either to upload valid exemption certificate as stipulates in correction slip no. 5 or submit the EMD.

   Security Deposit: - The successful tenderer will have to deposit security money @5 % of contract order value (rounded off to nearest higher Rs 10/- within 21 days of issue of letter of acceptance. The security money has to be deposited in any of the forms mentioned in the Tender Condition of SECR 2019 with latest correction slips (attached). No extension of time for submission of SD shall be granted. Tenderer are advised to read correction slip no. 4,5 & 6 regarding security deposit which is applicable in this case. Please note that in case successful tender does not deposit the balance SD within stipulated time (21 days from the issue of letter of acceptance) then EMD shall be forfeited & case be dealt as that of withdrawal of the offer by tenderer as per extant instructions.

   Please enter the percentage of local content in the material being offered. Please enter 0 for fully imported items, and 100 for fully indigenous items. The definition and calculation of local content shall be in accordance with the Make in India policy as incorporated in the tender conditions.

   It will be presumed that the firms who have submitted the e-bid have gone through and accepted all the terms and conditions of tender, until and unless firms specify the deviations from those conditions and so indicated specifically under the headings - "Technical Deviation Statement" and "Commercial Deviation Statements". If there is any contradiction between any techno commercial terms and conditions quoted in e-offer and documents attached along with the e-offer, the terms & conditions quoted in e-offer will prevail over that of quoted in attached documents. Tenderer in their own interest are advised not to quote any techno commercial terms & conditions in attached documents.
