Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam exc 50mm but not exc 100mm in deep, surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm and removing exc 50 metres and stacking complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Laying and compacting 75mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam grading as per table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 required complete all as specified and directed.

Applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0. 7-1 kg/sqm on surface of WMM/WBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning to cleaned surface with mechanical air compressure to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

Applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.2-0.3 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen any penetration @ 4% by weight of total mix laid/rolled compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete consolidated thickness 30 mm with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 grade, mixed in hot mix plant, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete to a uniform surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BIS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.
