Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by any State Government / Government of India /Union Territory.

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted.

As per karnataka state government order LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore dated 01-01-2007 and Govt letter No.PW/134/BMS /2007/dated 27-07-2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labour welfare fund.

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt orders.

All the documents to be uploaded shall be neatly scanned and the documents scanned shall be in original.

Any discrepancies observed in the documents uploaded by the tenderer the tender shall liable to rejected.

All the Formats prescribed in the bid documents shall be filled in complete manner. ( section 3 & 4 of the bid document ) and shall be uploaded properly, signed by Tenderer . Necessary Certificates shall be uploaded along with the formats wherever required. General documents Section can be used for this purpose.

Earnest Money Deposit will have to be in any one of the forms as per the instructions in the financial bid document and shall have to be valid for 45 days beyond the validity of the tender.

Tenderers are requested to read the Bid Documents before submission of their bid.

The Tenderer should submit proposed methodology and program of construction, backed with equipment and materials duly supported with broad calculations and quality management, plan, proposed to be adopted, justifying of execution and completion of the work as per technical specifications within the stipulated period of completion.

Department will not supply any materials.

The cost of the Tender form shall not be refundable.

The employer is not responsible for any delay in accessing E-Procurement Portal.

The Employer reserves the rights reject one or all tender without assigning any reasons.

Further particulars, if any, required by the Contractor can be had from the office of the Executive Engineer, PWD Dept Division Vijayapur during office hours on all working days. It may be noted that if any of the dates mentioned above happened next working day will holds good in lieu of the dates mentioned.

The contractor should employ only registered labours as per Govt. Circular No. PWD/198/BMS/2009/ Dated: 24-06-2009. As per EPF & MP act 1952 irrespect of of the employees Engaged by or through contractors, agencies and contractors shall have provident fund code no. & all the contract employees deployed by them are enrolled as members of provident fund.

The bidder is required to maintain the road executed and Completed projects during the Defect liability period of 2 years,

Contractors should be Registered in KPWD and copy should be uploaded in E-portal Attested by the Gazzeted officers not below the rank of Executive Engineer.

Contractor should prepare Quality Assurance Plan and get approved from Quality Assurance Executive Engineer before starting the work.

Contractor should establish Field Laboratory for testing of Materials.

GST shall be paid to the tendered amount seperately.

The Increase in G.S.T shall not be paid in the extended period of Contract for which the contractor alone is responsible for delay as detarmaind by the authority while granting the extension of time.

Work Completion/Execution Period : 6 Months.

EMD may be paid fully by E-payment Rs. 2,40,300/-or in two parts,Part (1) Rs 1,00,000/- by E-Payment Part (2) Rs. 1,40,300/- EMD in the form of Bank Guarantee issued by Nationalised or Scheduled Bank in favor of Executive Engineer,PWD Vijayapur Division, Vijayapur. And Contractor Should upload the scanned copy of Bank guarantee and the original BG Should be Handed over to the Executive Engineer.

Any deviation/error/mistake found in units of items,they should be read as in the unified SR 2023-24 and the rates shall be quoted accordingly

Prime Coat over WMM/WBM Providing and applying primer coat with SS1 grade Bitumen Emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70kg per m2 using mechanical means.

Providing and applying tack coat with RS1 Bituminous Emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 kg/m2 on Granular Surface

Providing and applying tack coat with VG-10 Bitumen using pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg/m2 on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with mechanical broom

•

Providing and laying Bituminous Macadam with 40/60 TPH capacity hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder VG-30 @ 3.4% by weight of mix, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with mechanical paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 501.7 to achieve the desired compaction

Providing and laying Semi Dense Bituminous Concrete with 40/60 TPH capacity hot mix plant batch type using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder VG-30 @ 5% by weight of mix and filler, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with mechanical paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per MoRTH V revision.

Construction of sub-grade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts & leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table No. 300-2

Road Marking with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 g/m2 area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35:2015.The finished surface to be level uniform and free from streaks and holes.
