Gantry Crane and Emergency Shutter of River Sluice: Repair and Rehabilitation of Emergency Shutter and its Groove vents including complete over hauling, gear box service, repairing brakes with changing spares, replacing gear box oil, changing oil seals in gear box, servicing wheels and Repairs, alignment rectification and servicing of manual operation assembly for all directional movements with gear wheels, chain wheel, shaft, plummer blocks and all other items complete. Servicing of steel 22 mm dia wire rope of steel core including removing the existing rope, fixing new with clamps and cardium compound. Servicing of crane chequererd plate with 6 mm new chequered plate required including all charges. Providing new motors for operating the X-Y operation of hoist moving with switch. Alteration works to spreader beam locking arrangement to make it lock and unlock with shutter automatically under water. Painting of crane and Spreader beam with zinc silicate primer one coat and first quality anticorrosive epoxy painting of two coats after thorough cleaning by buffing machine. Lifting of rails to be rectified and fixed properly including all fixtures and repairs. The old aluminum cable should be removed and provide with the new copper cables (3 core). The Wiring arrangement for lifting of shutters up to 3” from bottom by manual. And providing Motor cover for the motor safety including wiring, existing wiring repairs and renewal, dismantling the existing and all materials, labour charges for loading, lifting, unloading, transport, erection, hire charges for equipments like chain pulley block, welding machine, cutting set, grinding machine, power charges for generator, conveyance to site and cleaning them after completion of work, including cost of trial operation.
Repair and Rehabilitation of River Sluice shutters : Repair and Rehabilitation including removing the old vent rubber seal and reworks, and providing old rubber seal holes with the tapping and side seal, L corner seal and top seal. Renewal and Repairs with change of Music node rubber seal (100 X 40 X 20 mm) – 5 m for top rubber seal , change of MS flat (100 X 16mm) all CSK bolts, nuts for top rubber seal. Removal of old MS flats for rubber seal arrangements, surface of the new MS flats, skin plate contact surface with bottom seal to be cleaned using grinding and buffing machines, painted with zinc rich primer 2 coats and anti corrosive epoxy paint two coats before fixing with new rubber seals. The rate of is inclusive of dismantling the existing completely removing by gas cutting the bolts and nuts lifting the gate assembly. Servicing the shutter side rollers by removing all the roller pins, rollers,cleaning the bearings, changing the oil seals, bearing repairs, facing of pins and washer plates, roller adjustment lever repairs, reassembling the roller with grease packing, etc., strengthening of shutter frames by providing additional MS plate stiffeners in corroded members by welding, facing, etc. Cleaning of drain holes and providing 10 nos. of new drain holes of 25mm dia as per the instructions of departmental engineers. Strengthening of shutter frames by providing additional MS plate stiffeners in corroded portion, welding and facing etc.The rate inclusive of dismantling the existing completely removing by gas cutting the bolts and nuts lifting the Gate assembly. Servicing the heavy duty gear box type worm gear arrangement, screw rod Repairs, counter weight lifting arrangement, change of gear oil, oil seal and lubrication.Manual operation overhauling and repairs. Gauge scale repairs and rectification. To rectify lifted bed after alignment correction of screw rod, gearbox, Suspension channel and guiding arrangements. Change of three stage guide channels with new 2 nos of ISMC
-250mm for each stage (2x2= 4nos) for the well width and bearing of at least 250mm with MS flats and angles for fabrication and including erecting them inside masonry for not less than 250mm. Change of suspension channel ISMC-150mm-4m long in three stages, fabrication face to face welded and connected to gazzeted plate of thickness 12mm and MS 16x65mm bolts and nuts connecting to shutter and screw rod similar to the existing, assembly. Repairs to the platforms inside the sluice well. Replacing the old corroded MS Fiat by gas cutting, grinding, cleaning the entire surface area thoroughly and renewed by new roller track. Application of a high performance coating to protect the steel structure from highly abrasive, erosive and corrosive environments. This being an industrial coating enhances the life of the structure and reduces the strain of continuous maintenance. After surface preparation of the structure, a primer coat with mastic primer shall be applied. This surface to be applied should be dry & abrasive cleaned up to Sa21/2. The dry film thickness should be 40 - 60µ for primer coat. The Colour is grey and minimum plot time should be 12 hours. The mixing ratio of base to accelerator by volume should be according to the manufactures standard.Application of Coal tar epoxy over the primer shall be through airless Spray method. The colour shall be black and the mixing ratio of base to accelerator should be manufacturer standards. The dry film thickness should be between 100 - 125µ per coat. The interval before over coating shall be 24 hours. All paint, when applied, shall provide a satisfactory film and a smooth and even surface, paint shall be thoroughly stirred, strained, and kept at the uniform consistency during application.Paint shall not be applied when the temperature of the metal or surrounding air is below 90 percent, or when it threatens to rain before the painted coat gets dry. Each coat shall be protected during the initial curing period against the possibility of moisture condensation or contamination with foreign matter. All painting works shall be performed by airless spraying, when the coating material is applied by spraying, suitable means shall be provided to prevent segregation during the coating operation. Free oil and moisture shall be removed from the air spray lines of all spraying equipment. Each coat shall be uniform and free from runs, sags and other imperfection. The time between successive coats shall be not less than the minimum not more than maximum re-coating time specified by the paint manufacturer.
Labour charges including Lathing, Drilling, Welding, Gas cutting, inclusive of all bolt and nuts, all paint and conveyance to this site, Loading and unloading charges, Grease packing, Lubricating oil, all civil works and Trial run satisfactorily, etc., complete as directed by the Departmental Officers. All materials and works should be as per IS specification.
