Design, manufacture and supply of L.T. OUTDOOR FRP POLE MOUNTED BOXES

1. Pole mounted molded type service connection Street box made out of 4 mm thick FRP material of size 750 mm (H) x 350 mm (W) x 250 mm (T) with roof type top cover and fixing clamp. The box shall be single door at front side with perfect looking arrangement. Back side with two numbers double lovers for proper air ventilation. Both sides be provided with operable hinged type doors with lovers for easy entering of hand to work inside the box. The box shall have provision for 6/7 numbers cable glands suitable for LT UG cable of size 4 x 25, 4 x 16, 2x 16, 2x10 etc with suitable bus bar and fuse arrangements as detailed below. An insulated bar made of FRP/HYLUM is also to be provided to hold the fuse units and shall be operable from front. The box should be painted with two coats of best quality enamel paint of colour light green and properly pasted with danger signs and ‘Electricity department, Lakshadweep’ at front having the following arrangement inside a) Properly sleeved (RYB and BL) bus bars made out of aluminum strip of size 25 x 10 mm with necessary supports and a neutral link of 25 x 6 mm Size. b) Re-wirable type 32 Amps HRC fuse units 2 nos each in each phase, 63 Amps HRC fuse 2 Nos.each bus bar in each phase and one in the incoming point for connecting street light and 125 Amps open type HRC fuse units with siemens type HRC fuse to connect incoming cable (the fuses must be Siemens/ ABB/GE/L&T make only c) Necessary supports for holding incoming /out going cables at two points minimum at rear side. d) Fixing clamp (2 Nos) made out of 50 x 6 mm MS Flat along with suitable for 110 mm GI Pipes along with suitable SS/ G.I bolt and nut e) Two numbers Aluminum stiffeners of size 40 x 6 mm should be provide to support the clamp. 2).Spare HRC fuse unit bus bar type of make specified above 63 Amps 3 Nos. each box. 3).Spare HRC fuse unit bus bar type of make specified above 32 Amps 3 Nos. each box.
