Improvement of water supply system by replacement of pump assembly and renovation of foundation and base frame of motor pump set no. 6 with other allied works at B-1 BPS Vasant Kunj under Mehrauli Constituency AC-45 by carrying out following works :- Dismantling of existing 240 HP motor pump sets from foundation by disconnecting electric connection from main power supply, cutting foundation bolts, removing of coupling, damaged sluice Valves, damaged NRV, damaged Taper Pieces on Suction & Delivery side both with the help of gas cutter, specialized labour and EOT crane etc.The work must be done one by one without affecting the water supply.

Dismantling of old damaged pump assembly from the pump with the help of specialized labour, tools and tackles etc. as per site requirement.

Closing of suction and delivery line by providing with M.S. blank flange of size 350 mm including rubber sheet and M.S nuts and bolts as per site requirement and direction of engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling of damaged M.S. base frame after cutting of damaged jammed foundation bolts with gas cutter from existing RCC platform with the help of all the mechanical/manual means as per site requirement. Breaking of RCC foundation with pneumatic concrete breaker for taking out the damaged foundation bolts and mild steel bars& taking out the malba from the pumphouse and dispose/stack at a suitable place as directed by engineer-in-charge.

Providing of Aluminium armoured cable of size 240 sq mm 3.5 core. Make:- Havells/ Gloster/ DJB approved

Making of complete new RCC foundation for pump set (1.5 cum) along with casting of new foundation for holding the delivery pipeline (1.04 cum) at the suitable height. The job includes casting of new RCC foundation, providing of M.S. Jall made of 20 mm square bars at bottom &center of RCC foundation. Fixing of new foundation bolts by tiging/Welding of foundation bolts with M.S Jall & filling of R.C.C material in the complete foundation including welding, shuttering and plastering as per requirement.

Making fabrication of M.S. Base frame of size 2.14 x 0.66 m made out of M.S. Channel of size 300 mm x 90 mm, 150 x75 mm and 75 x 40 mm and to be fixed upto suitable height as directed by engineer-in-charge. The motor & pump shall hold on base M.S. plate of 25 mm thickness, 8mm thick M.S plate for side covering from motor side, angle & flat etc as per the existing one required at site.

Providing of foundation bolts with nuts and washer of size 1” dia and 18” long.

Providing of Tyre Type automatic Flexible Cushion Coupling TC/J/021 DJB SOR 2022 21.8.22

Making of bore & cutting of Key-way in coupling as per the shaft size of pump & motor i/c providing & fixing of key of both sides of coupling.

Fabrication & fixing of Coupling Guard made out of 50 mm X 6 mm M.S flat, 50 mm X 6 mm M.S angle & 14 SWG M.S sheet duly primer & painted.

Providing of Rubber insulation sheet.

Providing of MS nut bolts with washer as per site requirement.

Shifting of new pump assembly from JE store to pump house and fixing of MS base frame of New Pump Sets on the RCC Foundations & tightening with foundation Nut Bolts, fixing/fitting of newPump assembly(provided by the deptt.) on the MS Base Frame with proper alignment and tightening the same with the help of tools & tackles, heavy manual labour etc. as per site requirement and direction of engineer-in-charge.

Making of all Electrical Connection byusing Aluminium armoured cable from LT Panel to motor lead connection &from LRS to Rotor of Slip ring induction motor with required items i.e. thimble,ferrule etc. as per site requirement and direction of engineer-in-charge.

Arrangement of all safety equipment for the protection of manpower to work at height and to make the working area free from accident during working at site as per NHRC guidelines.

Painting the complete as above-mentioned structures with the help of all accessories, painting with 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of enamel paint as per site requirement and direction of engineer in charge. It includes supply of paint and primer as per site requirement.

Transportation, loading, unloading with heavy manual labour.

Testing and commissioning of the motor and LRS with relevant IS Testing of the motor LRS prior to switching on as follow :- (1) Continuity and earth testing (2) Meggering of all equipments for phase to phase, neutral to body, neutral to earth and phase to earth (3) Checking for all tightness of nut and bolts (4) Complete system at no load and full load.
