Water Bound Macadam Grading - 3 Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel/ vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density. (SI.No. 405.3)

Providing laying Prime coat With Bitumen emulsion (SS-A) on prepared surface of granular base inculding cleaning of road surfafe and spraying prime coat of 0.70 to 1.0 kg/sqm using mechnical means as technical Specification Clause 502.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade using bitumen pressure distributer at the rate of 0.30 kg. per sqm on the prepared granular surface treated with primer & cleaned with hydraulic broom as per technical specification clause 503.

Providing, laying and rolling of open - graded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen VG-10 to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheele 80-100KN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades complete all specified in Manual MORD technical specification clause 508 and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Providing and applying seal coat by manual means with 80/100 grade bitumen sealing the voids in bitumens surface laid to the specified levels grade and cross fall using type C as per technical Specification Clause 510.

Earth work in filling deep cuts of shoulder by power transported earth with a Lead beyond 200m and up to 1.00km . i/c excavation , loading , unloading, manual completion , dressing and all lifts complete excluding royalty will be applicable from time to time on gov. orders as per site Engineer in charge.
