| 1.00Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of 750 kVA DG set with the following specifications: | |||||||||||
| 1.01 | The offer price shall be an all inclusive price that shall include all costs for delivery, supply & Installation, testing and commissioning of 'Silent type' Diesel Generating set with acoustic enclosure, complying with latest CPCB norms and having prime power rating of 750 KVA, 415 Volts at 1500 RPM, 0.8 Lagging power factor at 415 V suitable for 50 Hz, 3 Phase system and for 0.85 load factor and consisting of the followings:
a) Diesel Engine offered shall be as per specification and with following accessories: Diesel Engine 4 stroke Radiator based water cooled, electric start, of suitable BHP at 1500 RPM suitable for above output with alternator at 40 degree C, 50% RH & at 1000 meter MSL and conforming to BS 5514, BS 649, IS 10000, capable of taking 10% over loading for one hour after 12 hours of continuous operation. The engine will be fitted complete with all the required accessories as per the detailed specification in the Technical bid.
b) Engine mounted Control Panel fitted with and having digital display for following: (i) Start- Stop switch with key (ii) Water Temperature indication (iii) AUTO ON / OFF (iv) Lubrication oil pressure indication (v)Lubrication oil temperature indication (vi) Battery charging indication (vii) RPM Indication (viii) Over speed indication (ix) Low lub. Oil trip indication. (x) Engine Hours indication
(c) The engine shall be having Electronic governor and suitable for AMF operating with Auto synchronising, Load sharing, Load bearing, Load dependant starting etc. using with digital controllers, relays & control modules.
(d) Alternator: Synchrounous alternator rated at 750 KVA, 415 Volts at 1500 RPM, 3 Phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz, AC supply with 0.8 lagging power factor at 40 Degree C, 50% RH & at 1000 meter MSL. The alternator shall have SPDP enclosure, brushless, continuous duty, self excited and self- regulated through elctronic AVR conforming to IS: 4722 / BS 2613 suitable for tropical conditions and with class F/H insulation. AVR should be compatiable for auto synchronisation.
(e) Base Frame and Foundation : DG set alongwith the acoustic enclosure shall be mounted on suitable cement concrete foundation and vibration isolation arrangement as per recommendations of manufacturer. Necessarry civil work including earth excavation and concrete for the foundation is in the Department scope. However, the necessary foundation drawing has to be submitted alongwith the other drawings.
(f) Fuel Tank: Daily service fuel tank of 990 litres capacity fabricated out of 5 mm thick MS sheet complete with all standard accessories and fuel piping between fuel tank and diesel engine with MS class 'C' pipes of suitable dia. Complete with valves, digital level indications & accessories as required as per specifications.
(g)Starting system: 12V / 24V DC starting system comprising of starter motors: voltage regulator and arrangements for initial excitation complete with suitable nos of batteries as required as per specifications.
(h) Accoustic and weather proof enclosure with arrangements for fresh air intake for cooling of the engine & alternator, extraction, discharging hot air in to the atmosphere as per specifications.
(i) Unloading, shifting, and positioning of the DG set inside the Substation building shall be carried out by the vendor. Necessary arrangements such as crane, etc., if required, shall be made by the vendor. The installation of the acoustic enclosure, if required, shall be carried out at the site after shifting the DG set inside the building.
It is the responsibility of the vendor to visit the site and assess the location and requirements before submitting the quotation. However, the stone wall opening for access shall be carried out by the department.
(j) Site testing of DG set: 4 hrs site testing is to be carried out after installation of DG set along with accoustic (The price shall include required quantity of diesel for site testing).
(k) Statutory clearance(s): Approval/clearance of the complete installation shall be obtained by the vendor from CPCB/state pollutions control boards/local bodies/Central Electricity Authority (CEA)/other licensing authorities wherever required.
(l) Buy Back Offer: The offer shall include the buyback of two old 500 kVA non-acoustic DG sets along with the AMF panel. The rates quoted for the buyback of the two old DG sets, including the AMF panels and exhaust pipes, shall be excluded from the basic cost of the new DG set. Detailed specifications of the old DG sets are provided in the Technical Bid.
The buyback offer shall include dismantling of the old DG sets, exhaust structures, AMF panels, and shifting them from inside the Substation (DG Room) to outside. | 2.01 | Exhaust System: Residential silencer with necessary supporting arrangements with spring support, wherever applicable . The system shall comply with the norms of KSPCB/other statutory bodies, with a standard height from the ground with required structure. 5mm thick MS pipes as per IS 3589 shall be supplied. The exhaust system including the silencer must be sized to ensure that back pressure on system does not exceed the back pressure recommended by engine manufacturer. Design calculation in support shall be submitted on award of contract. Pipe shall be thouroughly cleaned of rust and painted with heat resistant paint after fabrication and erection. Exhaust piping and silencer shall be thermally insulated with aluminium sheet cladding.Silenscers and Horizontal runs shall be supported on spring supports fixed to ceiling. Vertical runs to have expansion bellows where length exceeds 25M. Flexible expansion joint of multiple corrugated stainless steel shall be provided between engine exhaust manifold and exhaust piping. Earthing, weather cowl at the top, lightning arrestor and aviation lights are to be provided. The separate light control to be provided for the avaiation light. The offer should include necessary wiring for the aviation light alongwith conduits to be considered. The necessary civil foundation works for the installation of the exhaust structure shall be included in the scope of work. The scope of work includes the design and calculation of the exhaust structure system, including the associated civil foundation works. Necessary clearances shall be obtained from the department prior to commencing the work.
