M & L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick, burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less 1.5 mtr deep below normal ground level connected to GI earth strip 32x6mm size connected to earth plate by means of nut, bolts, check nut & washer of galvanized iron or of steel, including provision of GI protected pipe light grade 40 mm dia bore and watering pipe 20 mm dia bore GI 'medium grade' with GI wire meshed funnel, alternate layer of char coal and salt on all side to earth plate upto thickness of 150 mm including provision of PCC 1:3:6 type C1 chamber with MS frame with cover 10mm thick with hinged and lifting hook duly painted shall be embedded in PCC, finished flush with Ground level including all necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil / rock, testing the earthing after completion all as per dimension, specification shown in electric plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I 2009 and including removing unserviceable existing earthing complete all as specifed as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Cost of GI earth strip 32x6mm and GI protection pipe 40mm dia bore upto 7.5m length deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

M&L for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing strip 32x6mm along with GI protection pipe 40mm dia bore fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground connected to machines/ equipments and taking down inserviceable GI strip and pipe any type any size all as specifed and directed.
