Clearing and Grubbing Road Land Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth upto 300 mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000 m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per Technical Specification Clause 201. Earth work excavation in all classes of soils except hard rock requiring blasting depositing on bank with initial lead of 0m and lift of 2m including all labour charges and incidental charges such as shoring strutting providing coffer dams bailing out of water as per 20A

Providing and laying including cost and conveyance of gravel from approved sources to work site including labour for spreading, watering and compacting by power roller to achieve the required Proctor density at 100% compaction at Optimum moisture content and hire fuel charges for powerroller, watersprinkler and all other incidental charges such as traffic barricading and providing dangerlights etc. comp for base-course and side berms.

Advance patchwork for making up the undulation in the existing B.T. Surface to an average thickness of 25mm using 13.20mm IRC size HBG metal

Providing and laying TACK COAT over BT surface at 2.5Kg of RS-1 Bitumen Emulsion / 10 sq.m. Including cost of bituminous emulsion which will be supplied by the department at section stores and its cost will be recovered as per special condition appended including labour charges for preparing the surface for laying tack coat and for applying required quantity of bituminous emulsion by mechanical sprayer including hire and fuel charges for all tools and plants employed etc., complete as per clause 503 of MOST specification.

Bituminous Concrete of 25 mm thick shall consist of Construction in a single couse of compacted crushed aggregates premixed with bituminous binder of 80/100 grade at the rate of 3.5 % by weight of total mix to serve as base / binder course in accordance with MORTH rev IV cl.504 specification and in confirmity with drawing.

Provision for Repainting of Citizen information board, Logo board, Maintenance board and sign board including cost and conveyance of all and labour charges etc., complete.

Towards the charges for routline maintenance of the road work executed including dressing of berms by refilling the gully with the earth from borrow pits, cleaning of wild seasonal growth on berms, destilting of side drains and CD works, white washing guard stones, painting of KM, HM stones, parapets, cutting of branches of trees, refixing displaced guard stones, caution boards, speed limit boards etc., with the periodicity for the above activities as prescribed in IRCSP- 20:2002 and as directed by the departmental officers except for the constructional defects which has to be rectified by the contractor at his own cost
