STRUCTURAL REHABILITATION, WATER PROOFING TREATMENT AND CONSEQUENTIAL REPAIR WORKS OF BLDG NOS P-10 AND P-16 OF 19 BIHAR UNDER AGE B/R-I OF GE (NORTH) DELHI CANTT-10

Dismantling of brick tiles, terracing tiles, single layer from roof laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar complete all as specified & directed.

Demolition of Mud in roofs, any thickness, including plastering and leeping without disturbing RCC roof slab using steel props for support to slab or beam etc (whether full thickness removed or only a part thereof) complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete as in roofs, floors, (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landing, chajjas and similar suspended work or (reinforcement cut as required to facilatate demolition) of any description and in any position not otherwise specially provided complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down chowkhats or frames n.exc 1.50 sqm with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames) complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down chowkhats of frames exc 1.50 sqm but n. exc 4.0 sqm with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames) complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down shutters of any description area of each shutter n.exc 2.00 Sqm each and refixing in same opening after easing and adjusting complete all as specified and directed. (Note consumable item to measured in respective items)

M&L for Preventive treatment against the danger of carbonation in exposed faces of wall:- (i) Cleaning existing surfaces of RCC members and making surface free of loose material, oil, grease etc. by vigorous wire brushing including light grit blasting where necessary as recommended by Engr-in-charge. (ii) Further, cleaning using biocide(as recommended by manufacturer) to ensure that surface is free of algae and fungus and no trace of paint (any type) left out. Sand blasting to be done to remove trace of paint. (iii) Cleaned surface to be allowed to dry. (iv) Spray a coat of primer (as recommended by manufacturer) over dry cleaned surface as required prior to final finish. Primer shall be diluted in proposition 2:1 with mineral turpentine. After application, primer shall be allowed to dry for 03 hours or as directed. (v) Apply a coat of neat Aliphatic Acrylic anti-carbonation (ACC) over the primed surface with air / spray gun at nominal rate of 3.5 ltrs per Sqm as recommended by manufacturer. (vi) Apply a more coat of Aliphatic Acrylic anti-carbonation (ACC) after 5-6 hours as recommended by manufacturer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for followings :- (i) Removing plaster & finishes all around the coloumns, slabs & beams (on all four sidescription of column to full height , three sidescription of beam to entire span & bottom of slab to area as directed) (ii) After cleaning gently removing cover concrete using pneumatic/electric chipper or any other approved tool in entire portion of structural member (removal of cover concrete shall be done to an extent when reinforcement is visible) (iii) Removal of cover concrete with under cutting of up to a depth of 20mm beyond reinforcement around full circumference & full length of bar where directed. (concrete shall be stripped to an extent concrete substrate is exposed) (iv) Cleaning exposed concrete substrate by using water jet. (v) Removing visible rust along the length of reinforcement using hand tools as approved. (The Engr-in-charge may order sand blasting if rust is approved) (vi) Any other work as directed by Engr-in-charge to present clean surface for determination of type of repair to be carried out complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing rust proof /anti corrosive treatment to bars :- (i) cleaning of all exposed bars (new & old) alround (ii) Apply a single coat of Alkaline rust converting primer on alround bars new & old as recommended by the manufactuer (iii) Apply two coats of Epoxy phenolic anti corrosive protective coat on bars alround new & old as recommended by the manufactuer. Note : Anti corrosive treatment shall be continuous espcially in the regions where pitting, imperfections, etc were present on the surface of the bars. It is important that the rear portions of re bars (those towards the concrete substrate) should not be left without coating.

M&L for providing PMM (Polymer modified cementitious mortar) :- (i) Dry sub strate surface and free of debris & dust (ii) Applying Epoxy bond coat on the sound substrate using approved spray machine & ensuring that no pin holes are visible.(In case pin holes are still visible after a coat, a second coat shall be applied to ensure absence of pin holes). (iii) Immediately after application of epoxy bond coat as above apply PMM (Polymer modified cementitious mortar) of 25 mm thickness. Note:- Application of PMM shall be preferably be in coats of appx 10mm thickness. PMM work shall be executed in fairely rapid successions so as entire work is completed with in 30 mins). PMM shall be pre packed ready to use. (iv) PMM surface to be moist cured for three days followed by air curing in temperature as recommended by manufactuer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for treatement of cracks found in the core concrete :- (i) Opening of crack by making a ' V' notch/groove of size 12mm x 12mm over the entire length of the crack as identified by the Engr-in-charge. (ii) cleaning ' v' notch/groove of all dust/debris/loose material (iii) Drilling hole of 16mm dia and about 40mm deep along the length of crack @ (300 mm c/c or thickness of structural member whichever is less) Note : In case length of crack is found less than 300 mm then min 2 holes shall be drilled. (iv) Inserting 12 mm dia flexible PVC one way injection nipple in the hole drilled above and fixing the nipple with the help of fast setting epoxy putty. (v) Seal the surface around the nipple and the area of crack between successive nipples polymer modified mortar to ensure that there is no leakage from any gap. (vi) Allow the polymer modified mortar to cure for 24 hours and ensure that firmly fixed in postion. (Item contd. as 12.01...)

(vii) Cleaning nipple one by one commencin from the top to bottom in case of column and one by one in alternate direction incase of beam/slab using blow compressed air followed by water injection. An Ensuring that there is no obstruction in free flow of grouting materials complete all as specified and directed. (viii) Injecting " resin with very low viscosity monomer by mixing resin and hardener in proportions recommended by manufacturer by using injection gun equipped with pressure gauge & valves for controlling of flow of compressed air & resin. Note:- pressure shall be in the range of 1-2 kg/Sqm and shall be done in nipples one by one as per order recommended by manufacturer. Mixing of resin and hardenere shall be mixed in small quantities so as it is consumed with in 30 minutes. Before use mixer shall be stirred thoroughly. (ix) Allow entire effected surface to cure for 24 hours. (x) cutting out projected parts of the nipple & seal the hole in the nipple with epoxy putty as recommended by manufacturer. (xi) cleaning exposed surface complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 12mm dia steel sheer connector in grid pattern in between old core and new concrete as wherever directed by Engr-in-charge and as specifed by manufactuer including drilling hole of depth of 100 mm and chemical anchoring with pure epoxy resin anchoring complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- The cost of drilling hole &chemical anchoring with epoxy resin is inclueded in this item)

M&L for Providing & Pouring Micro concreting M-40 grade :- (i) Dry concrete substrate surface and free of debris & dust (ii) Applying Epoxy bond coat on the sound concrete substrate using approved spray machine & ensuring that no pin holes are visible. (In case pin holes are still visible after a coat, a second coat shall be applied to ensure absence of pin holes). (iii) Immediately after application of epoxy bond coat as above pour Micro concreting M40 grade using approved mixing machines/pumping under pressure via approved pneumatic pump at the locations to be repaired in RCC beams & columns etc,. Adding of aggregates will be permitted only as per manufacturer’s recommendation without compromising the strength. The rate shall include cost of all materials (except re-bar) labour charges for demolition of the column and beam, chajja, mixing, pouring concrete, cost of tools, lead & lift of materials, transportation etc., to carry out the complete work complete all as specified and directed. Note : The cost of micro concrete M-40 grade & Epoxy bond coat is inclueded in this item.

M&L for Drilling & chemical anchoring of new rebars/stirrups :- (i) Drilling in to the sound RCC members for anchoring of rebars/stirrups as directed, the dia of hole to be match with dia of rebar & length of drilling as under :- 8 mm dia bar - drilling length 80 to 100 mm Note : Anchoring of new re-bars of any dia as directed in to the sound RCC members as directed using pure epoxy resin anchoring mortar with appropriate diameter of drilling of holes as mentioned above for proper bonding into the concrete etc., complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The cost of drilling hole & chemical anchoring with epoxy resin is inclueded in this item

M&L for Drilling & chemical anchoring of new rebars/stirrups :- (i) Drilling in to the sound RCC members for anchoring of rebars/stirrups as directed, the dia of hole to be match with dia of rebar & length of drilling as under :- 16 & 20 mm dia bar - drilling length 160 to 180 mm Note:- Anchoring of new re-bars of any dia as directed in to the sound RCC members as directed using pure epoxy resin anchoring mortar with appropriate diameter of drilling of holes as mentioned above for proper bonding into the concrete etc., complete all specified and directed. (The cost of drilling hole & chemical anchoring with epoxy resin is inclueded in this item)

M&L for use & waste of form work using steel sheets , steel bracing, propping etc around structural members where micro concreting to be done and keeping form work in position till required specified period complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Form work shall be 100% leak proof. For purpose of payment area in touch with concrete shall be measured.

S&F for strengthening existing reinforcement by use of mild steel bars of any dia , cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for chipping of spalled and loose concrete and cleaning rust from re-inforcement by sand brushing scrubing down concrete surfaces with wire brushes cleaning with water allowed to dry applying a layer of zinc rich epoxy primer as antirust on all exposed reinforcement followed by a layer of bonding coat of a layer of epoxy adehessive on complete exposed surfaces of concrete and provide guniting in two layers over steel welded mesh 2 mm dia of wire and total aperture 75 mm, thickness of gunite n.exc 25 mm thick (average thickness) using cement mortar 1 :3 with OPC 43 grade cement mixed with polycrete admixture @ 2 % by wight of cement or as per manufactures instructions and finally applying cement plaster over gunite surfaces of required thickness to give an even uniform and smooth finish conforming to proper Geometrics in cement mortar 1:4 to match with the existing surface as in side and soffits of slabs,chajjas,fins,facias ,parapets ,columns and beams etc complete including necessary scaffolding ,shuttering necessary chased to brick work or RCC members at any height upto four storey buildings incl removing of small trees shrubs etc all as specified(Note: steel welded mesh to be welded with the existing reinforcement. The cost of welded meshis to be welded with the existing re-inforcement is deemed to be included in the quoted rate complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing precast cement concrete in window or door cills lintels bressumers, steps quoin blocks ( for use with masonry) string coarse cooping, post column boundary pillars set in cement mortar 1:4 complete with joint match used in RCC Jali frame in opening etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Reinforcement cement concrete (design mix) in M-25 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in columns pillars piers posts and struts etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Reinforcement cement concrete (design mix) in M-25 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in beams, cantilevers bressummers, lintels over 1.5m span in cluding taking down/dismantling from old position complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Reinforced cement concrete (design mix) in M-25 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate in chajjas, shelf complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- reinforcement to be measured separately).

M&L Reinforced cement concrete (design mix) in M-25 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate in Slabs supported on walls,beams and columns in floors,roofs, landings, balconies,canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and the like complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- reinforcement to be measured separately).

M&L Reinforced cement concrete (design mix) in M-25 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in Fins, ascias, louvres, parapets, and railings exc 60cm in height, newels, balustrade and the like complete all as specified and directed.

Mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over as reinforcement for concrete, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking,hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Mild steel TMT bars 6 to 8 mm dia as reinforcement for concrete, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 27 above but 5 mm dia and over upto 10 mm dia in stirrups, spacers and binders.

M&L for formwork to chullah hoods, chajjas, throughs and similar items including edges complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for formwork to sides and soffits of floor or roof beams, beam haunchings, girders, bressummers, lintels, cantilevers, shelves including supports, overhangs, etc, also splays between floors and beams, etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for formwork to sides and soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings and similar work; n. exc. 200 mm thick (Horizontal or slopping) and similar works rough finished surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for formwork to sides of pillars, posts, struts, piers, columns and stanchions complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Water proofing treatment walls of bathroom consisting of the following operation including demolition/taking down old treatment :- (i) Cleaning of surfaces by wire brushing brooming removing dust particles (ii) Filling of all brick joints with cement mortar 1:4 (iii) Applying a coat of cementitious water proofing membrane. (iv) Applying fiber mesh setting with SBR Latex. (v) Final coating with cementitious water proofing membrane and sprinking of sand (vi) After the surface dried, plaster the surface with 15 mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 including finishing even and smooth using extra cement. (vii) Making hole for fixing of spout pipe etc as per site requirement and making good complete as specified & directed.

M&L Water proofing treatment on sunken floor consisting of the following operation including demolition/taking down old treatment :- (i) Cleaning of surfaces by wire brushing brooming removing dust particles (ii) M&L PCC 1:2:4 type (B0) using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate 50 mm thick, finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement (iii) Applying a coat of cementitious water proofing membrane (iv) Applying fibe mesh setting with SBR Latex. (v) Final coating with cementitious water proofing membrane and sprinking of sand (vi) After the surface dried, screeding the surface with 15mm thick screed in CM 1:4 including finishing even and smooth using extra cement.

M&L for broken lean concrete 1:5:10 with broken brick aggregate in sunken of gauge n exc 63mm deposited spread and levelled in layers n exc 15 cm thick hand rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tile s to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

Roughening surfaces of old concrete floor by picking sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust, etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for non skid ceramic coloured tiles of 8 to 10mm thick, of approved shade, joint free area of each tile exceeding 0.18 sqm but not exceeding 0.38 sqm in floors etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement. over and including screed bed or bedding layers of cement mortars 15 mm thick in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 38 above but as in vertical surfaces such as skirting/ dado over and including 10 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 ditto.

M&L for non skid ceramic coloured tiles 7 to 8 mm thick joint free area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm in floors etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L glazed (DVT) colour and shed as approved in vertical surface size of each tile exc 0.15 but n.exc 0.18 Sqm set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the surface over and including 10mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 and finished rough complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors aprons etc laid bedded and pointed in any mortar complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75mm thick cement concrete type C-2 1:3:6 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub base to receive stone slab and pavement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 18 to 20 mm thick machine cut Kota stone slab mirror polishing/diamond polishing by mechanical means and using carborandum stone of 0 unit to achive mirror finished surface as in flooring over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6, laid over cement slurry @ 3 Kg/Sqm and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match with shade of slab including molding the edge of slab complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- The size of Kota stone slab shall not less than 550 mm x 550 mm cut size in flooring and full length single piece in steps, except the location where the balance portion remain less than size as specified above).

M&L 20 to 25 mm thick machine cut Kota stone slab polishing/diamond polishing by mechanical means and using carborandum stone of 0 unit to achive mirror finished surface as in riser or vertical surface over and including 10 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4, and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match with shade of slab including molding the edge where as specified and directed. (Note:- The size of Kota stone slab shall not less than 550 mm x 550 mm cut size as in flooring and full length single piece in steps, except the location where the balance portion remain less than size as specified above).

All as per item No 44 & 45 above but except stone slab ditto.

M&L for Machine cut makrana white marble 18-20 mm thick in flooring as in border in any pattern over 15 mm cement screed bed in CM 1:6 jointed and pointed with white cement slurry including mirror polishing/diamond polishing using carborandum stone of 0 unit including rubbing & treating the surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L green marble slab 18-20mm thick machine cut and polished of approved colour (Udaipur Green with Granite polish) including setting and jointing in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement to match the serfaces of marble over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 on cooking plateform including moulding and polishing the edges etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Granite 18-20 mm thick, colour as approved (of any type) work (table rubbed and polished) in steps, jambs, pillars, window cills, cooking platforms or making hole for fix in oveal shape for fixing of wash hand basin and like in CM 1:4 including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shed of granite over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 including moulding and polishing the edges complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Granite 18-20mm thick, colour as approved ( of any type) work (table rubbed and polished) in for wall lining (veneering to wall) 12 mm thick in cement mortar (1:3) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shed of granite including moulding and polishing the edges etc complete.

Excavation in post hole or similar holes each n. exc 0.50 Cum in hard/dense soil and getting out, returning, filling in, ramming earth or broken rubble mixed earth around, in layers n. exc 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

S&F steel work in tubular trusses Fe 410-W (Gde-E-250) quality A including special shaped washer etc. Complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to IS 1161-1979 grade St-240 complete all as specified and directed.

S&F plate girder or single stanchions, Fe-410-W (Gde-E-250) built up of one beam or channel section with flange plates, caps bases. Splices, angle brackets cleats and other connections complete all as specified and directed.

S&F plates Fe-290 (Gde E-165) (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (Ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, without any attachment.

S&F for steel gate ornamental type made of tubular section, grill work including holdfast, 2x pintels hinges, stoppers, bushes, and all as CI decorative pieces, locking arrangement etc complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down steel gates or steel door shutters area n exc . 3.00 Sqm each and refixing in same opening after repair with 2 Nos pintel hines fixed to wall and door shutters after necessary repair and make it functional complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated /semi corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour as approved, having tensile strength of 550 MPa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws to MS framed, roof at any slope, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based plain steel sheet 0.45mm thick of any colour as approved having tensile strength of 550 MPa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and directed.

S&F false ceiling with semi perforated 12mm thick micro tegular edged at all heights with GRG (Glass Fibre Reinforced Gypsum) false ceiling tiles of size 595x595mm of approved texture, design and pattern having moisture content less than 2% humidity resistance of 99% NRC 0.50 to 0.75 as per IS 8225:1987, Non-combustible as per BS 475 (part-4) -1970 and light Code Description unit rate No 429 Sub Head:26.0 NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND MATERIAL reflectance of 85% minimum to be laid in true horizontal level suspended on interlocking metel T-Grid of hot dipped galvanised iron section of 0.33mm thick (galvanised @ 120 grams over sqm including boh sides) comprising of main-T runners of size 15x32mm of length 3000mm, cross T of size 15x32 of length 1200mm and secondry intermediate cross T of size 15x32 of length 600 mm to form grid module of size 600x600mm suspended from ceiling using galvanised mild steel items (galvanising @ 80 grams per sqm) i.e 50mm long, 8mm outer diameter M-6 dash fasteners, 6mm dia fully threaded hanger rod upto 1000mm length and L shape level adjuster of size 85x25x2mm, Galvanised iron perimeter wall angle of size 24x24x0.40mm of length 3000mm to be fixed on perimeter wall/ partition with the help of plastic rawl pluhs at 450mm centre to centre and 40mm long dry wall screws complete all as specified and directed by Eingineer-in-Charge.

S&F 5 mm thick prelam PVC sheet in strips & channel feathered at the edges for fixing on Solild PVC wall Lining Insulated PVC Wall Lining, and Solid PVC partitioins inclusive of solvent cement and fixing at site complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 5mm thick PVC sheet fillet of width 35mm for wall paneling inclusive of fixing on to wall to make PVC frame complete all as specified and directed.

S&F factory made three track UPVC sliding windows white in colour or as approved made of extruded profiles with wall thickness of 2.3mm (+/- 0.20mm) Windows profiles with hollows section with multichamber. Frame size (88mmx52mm), Sliding sash (42mm x 67mm), sliding mesh sash (42mmx57mm), sliding interlock(one vertical length in each shutter) 45.5mmx28mm), glazing bead (24.5mmx16mm) will be mitered cut and fusion welded at all coeners, including drilling of holes for fixing of hardware and drainage of wateretc, making arrangement for fixing of hardware, EPDM, gasket, 1.2+/-0.20 mm thick galvanised steelframe (30mmx28mm) 2 Nos sliding sash (30mmx18mm), sliding mesh (26mmx10mm), profile to be inserted in required profile frame will be fixed to the wall with 8mm x 100mm long fastener hardware, (Touch lock of zinc alloyed (white powder coated), steel roller system stainless steel wire 0.36mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40mm, aluminium grill and required accessories complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The unit rate quoted by contractor includes all connected accessories i.e. wire mesh and hard wares etc.

S&F casement windows with net & MS Grill single or multi shutter turn window are made out of UPVC multi-cavity frames sections of 60x60x2.5mm suitably reinforced and double mult-shutters division are made by using sash mullion having 50x64x2.5mm multi-cavity UPVC section, suitably reinforced with GI and shutters are made out of 50x85x2.5mm UPVC section, reinforced and welded in corners with EDPM gaskets provision for glass and for air tight at frames and outer side of shutter with single glaze window shutters using suitable glass bead with perfect hardware like hinges handles, stays etc complete. Mosquito mesh shutter is made out of UPC extruded section of 61x27x2mm with GI channel of 1.2mm thick, welded in corners. Stainless steel wire mesh (Mosquito net) to be fitted in shutter with proper required accessories like hinges, MS grill of 12mm round or square bar are inserted in main frameas guard bar & screwed by hidden screwing system with powder coating and filled the gap between wall and frame with weather proof silicon sealant over backer rod of required size and of approved quality etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Glazed shutters float glass thickness not less than 4.00 mm and wiremes shutter with stainless steel wire mesh 0.36 mm dia with aperture 1.4 mm and MS grill shall also be deemed included in quoted rates and no extra payment will be made to the contractor.
