   Item will be purchase from OEM or its authorized dealer or the firm having the past performance of similar category of items. Firm should fulfill the any one of the following eligibility criteria to qualify the EC of tender. 1-. In case the bidder is OEM it must attach self-declaration or any other relevant document regarding to be the manufacturer of the offered item, failing which their offer will be rejected without any back reference. 2- If firm is authorized dealer, Firm must submit authorization certificate of OEM. The authorization issued from OEM must be valid on or after the date of tender opening. 3-If firm is past supplier of similar category item, firm should submit proven performance of supply in Railway for the same or allied item. The allied items (to be decided by the purchasing authority) are those items which can be produced by same line of machinery and plant and adequate quality control arrangement. NOTE- It is mandatory to mention the quoted MAKE/BRAND name in the relevant column by the bidder with its e-offer.

   Please enter the percentage of local content in the material being offered. Please enter 0 for fully imported items, and 100 for fully indigenous items. The definition and calculation of local content shall be in accordance with the Make in India policy as incorporated in the tender conditions.

   1. Offer shall be kept valid for acceptance for a minimum period as specified in tender schedule from the date of opening of tender. 2. Delivery schedule should be clear and specific and should not be vague like 2-4 months. 3. Firms are expected to quote for quantity not less 50% of tendered quantity. Offers for quantity less than 50% of tendered quantity will be considered unresponsive. 4. The tenderers shall quote specific freight, forwarding and packing charges in the relevant field of financial rate page. Ambiguous remarks like 'freight extra at actual', 'freight shall be charged extra', 'Railway freight shall be charged extra' etc., mentioned in the 'PVC and remarks' field or elsewhere in the electronic offer or attachments shall not be considered for evaluation.
