Excavation of cable trench in all kinds of soil Metre except hard rocky areas including clearing of roots of trees, rocks, bushes etc. to a depth of 1.0Mtrs and to a width of 0.3Mtrs. Laying of cables is not included in this schedule.

Refilling of cable trench 1m depth by 0.3m width Metre throughout, with earth after laying of cables, and consolidating the trench by ramming and levelling

Laying of signalling / Power/ Telecommunication Metre cables as per cable plan in cable trenches, masonry ducts, RCC Pipes, DWC pipes, GI Pipes etc. ( Supply of cables is not included in this schedules) HUBLI DIVISION-S AND T/SOUTH WESTERN RLY

Digging of cable trench to a depth of not less Metre than 30cms in rocky terrain , concreting the trench with 150mm thick concrete with 1 cement 2 sand 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm normal size all the materials to be arranged by contractor

Cable termination including fixing terminals Per fuses, LDs etc meggering the cables and Conductor recording the readings

Excavation of pit, casting concrete foundation Numbers and erection of apparatus case full size as per Drg. No. SG/CN/02/06 and fixing of 2 nos of "E" type locks, one for the front door and another for the back door, fixing of one hard wood shelf plank 37mm thick and painting the apparatus case inside and outside with one coat of red oxide and two coats of aluminium paints, along with painting of termination and equipment particulars on the doors of apparatus cases instructed by railway representative at site. ( Supply of apparatus case is not included in this schedule). [ Foundation bolts & nuts, 'E' type locks, cement, river sand, stone jelly of size 20/25mm, hardwood plank of 37mm thick, paints, varnish, fixing bolts & nuts and all other miscellaneous materials required for the work shall be supplied by the contractor].

Excavation of pit casting concrete foundation as Numbers per Drg. No. SG/CN/02/09 using metallic templates, for erection of color light signals up to 4 aspects. ( Foundation bolts, cement, river sand, stone jelly of size 20/25mm dia and all other miscellaneous materials required for the work shall be supplied by the contractor) HUBLI DIVISION-S AND T/SOUTH WESTERN RLY

Erection of surface base, signal pole, mounting Numbers of colour light signal up to 4 aspects, complete on signal pole/ off set bracket ( for LED/ filament bulbs) with lenses, triple pole lamp holder, filament switching units, CLS transformer, current regulators (which ever is applicable), fixing of ladder with platform complete and concreting of ladder shoe, fixing of number plates, marker board, lens guard, fixing of speed limit board wherever necessary, termination of tail cables, wiring of signal unit with PVC wire 3/0.75mm copper, provision of EWS locks, and painting of one coat of red oxide and two coats of aluminium /enamel paints. When the aspect is fixed on offset bracket using "U" bolts and nuts, a through bolt shall be provided by drilling a hole in the signal pole to prevent the offset bracket from sliding down.(Supply of surface base, offset bracket, CLS pole, CLS aspects, complete, ladder with shoes and platform, speed limit board, LED aspects, current regulators, Lamp holders, lamps, filament, switching unit and CLS transformer, is not covered in this schedule). [ 'U' bolts and nuts, through bolts and nuts, cement, stone jelly 20/25mm dia, river sand, Signal Collar, rings, wire PVC 3/0.75mm copper, lens- guard, all fixing bolts and nuts, lead wool, paints PVC /Nylon sleeves, enamelled number plates. Enamelled marker boards, EWS locks, and all other miscellaneous materials for the work shall be supplied by the contractor}.

Casting concrete foundation for pedestal and Each meeting post ( Electrical/ mechanical lifting gate), fixing of lifting barrier boom, contact makers, termination of cables, wiring and painting as per the instructions of Railway representative at site. ( supply of pedestals , meeting posts, contact maker, electric/ mechanical lifting barriers, rail posts, cranks and 'A' type foundation is not covered in this schedule). ( concreting materials, bolts, and nuts, wire PVC 3/0.75mm copper, paint and all other miscellaneous materials required for the work shall be supplied by the contractor). ( Unit:- Each=Per Boom )

Strengthening of foundations of Signals, full/ Numbers half location boxes, by carrying out the earth work around the foundation, ramming of the earth carrying out masonry work from bottom of earth work using country stones and cement masonry to prevent the earth from slipping down the bank. As per technical specification.

Trenching under rails for crossing the track Metre (Track crossing) and refilling of trenches as per RDSO drawing no SDO/Cable laying /009. The track crossing shall be done at right angles. The depth of cable trench shall be 1.2Mtrs below the rail flange. The depth between top cable and the level of rail flange of the rail shall never be less than 1.0Mtr. The ballast shall be stored separately. While making the trench and the earth soil has to be filled first to the ground level and the ballast has to be properly put in the track. this work has to be done under supervision of supervisor of S&T and supervisor of P.Way. Replacement of location box: (a)Erection of full Location location box over the foundation already cast, Box plumbing fixing E type locks as per tech specification (b) Shifting of existing cables form old location boxes / relay room to new location boxes / new cable termination racks., terminating the conductors in serial order, bunching neatly for matching the circuits with new cables as per cable plan ( 60 terminals per LB) (c) Releasing of location boxes Full/ Half.(d) Painting of full apparatus case Full as per the instructions of site JE/SSE in charge at site (It includes white washing of location box foundation also) (Paint shall be supplied by Railways) ( Unit:- Location box= Per location box )

Excavation of pit in and around the existing Numbers location boxes very carefully without damaging the working cables and shifting and turning the location boxes to clear of the infringement as instructed by the Railway representative at site. The work includes ensuring the safety of the signalling system, releasing the cable coils to give access for shifting/turning the location boxes. Necessary masonry work and earth work in and around the location boxes to the required level shall be done as instructed by the Railway representative at site. If the existing earth connections to the location boxes are disturbed, the earth wires shall be properly re-connected. [All materials required for the work shall be supplied by the Contractor].(a) Shifting of apparatus case (full)

Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning Numbers of Copper Plate Earthing System complete with provision of (i) Copper plate 300mm X 300mm X 3 mm, (ii) Earth Pit 6 ft depth filled up with charcoal 10 kg & salt 25 kg in alternate layers up to 2 ft from bottom, (iii) Water funnel on Perforated GI pipe of length 4.5 ft., (iv) Cast Iron top plate 12" x 12" (v) Drawing of copper - earth from earth to location with 25 mm x 3 mm copper strip for termination(all miscellaneous materials to be supplied by the contractor)

Painting of signals complete as per the Numbers instructions of site JE/SSE in charge at site. It includes painting of Signal unit, post, base and cross mark on back side signal unit and white washing of signal foundation also. Painting of shunt signals complete as per the Numbers instructions of site JE/SSE in charge at site. It includes painting of signal unit, post, base and cross mark on back side of signal unit and white washing of signal foundation also (Paint will be supplied by Railway)

Painting of apparatus case full as per the Numbers instructions of site JE/SSE in charge at site (It includes white washing of location box foundation also) Paint will be supplied by Railways.

Painting of apparatus case half as per the Numbers instructions of site JE/SSE in charge at site (It includes white washing of location box foundation also) Paint will be supplied by Railways.

Painting particulars on the doors of apparatus cases and at relay room as instructed by Railway representative (All materials to be supplied by the contractor) (Unit:- Man days=Per man days )

Painting of LC gate consist of: a) Painting of Set lifting barriers & accessories. b) Painting of pedestals. c) Painting of meeting post. d) Painting of winch mechanism and lever frame and protective rails. e) Painting of rodding, roller and roller stand. The painting to be carried out with 2 coats of paint of Asian/ any other company which is better. All the materials to be arranged by the contractor as per colour code mentioned in Signal Engineering Manual. ( 1 Set consist of 2 booms, 2 meeting post and 2 pedstal & winch etc)

Concreting foundation of sliding boom type LC Numbers gate barrier as per technical spec. (all materials shall be supplied by the contractor including cement)

Erection and commissioning of sliding boom Set type LC gate (One complete gate consists of 2 Nos of sliding boom)

Supply of Unskilled Labour for S&T work Man-Days inconnection with smithy work, labour work, pending material loading and unloading, testing of equipment etc. as per the technical enclosed ( Unit:- Man days=Man per days )

Supply and installtion of OFC joint enclosure ans Numbers splicing of optic fibre cable (24 fiber) and testing as per technical specification No. GROJC-2/02 Sept 2003. supply of splice enclosure (24 fiber) shall be of TVS make part No.1500-L18X-XX as per Board specification of TEC. All materials inclusing fusion splicing machine used for fiber splicing and OTDR for testing materials if any shall be arranged by the contractor

Supply & installation of Jointing pit as per Numbers drawing with cover and required trenching to ease out cable/duct.

Providing dry sand in FRP/RCC joint chambers Numbers uptp 400mm height.

Rectification and re-splicing of existing mis Numbers dection OFC joints. This includes supply and provision of joint repair kit & sleeves

Hiring of Hydra for lifting /erection of materials HUBLI DIVISION-S AND T/SOUTH WESTERN RLY

Preparation of ciruits, location diagrams, power Sheet diagrams, cable plan, bonding plan etc n Autocad 2000 or latest. The drawings shall be prepared in A3/A2/U size as required by Railways. The hardcopies of the documents will be supplied by Railways. The contractor has to draw the drawings in Auto cad very carefully and submit one copy of check print along with the soft copy in CD. The drawings shall be checked and returned by Railways indicating corrections if any. The corrections have to be made and final copy submitted in A3/A2/ U size as required by Railway along with the final soft copy in CD. The hard copy given by Railways have to be returned back without any damage. The size of sheet given in the unit colum is for the hard copy given by Railways.b) For preparation of softcopy from A3 size hard copy ( Unit:- Sheet=Per A3 sheet )

Straightening of tilted Location box. Lifting, Numbers packing and concreting the lifted portion neatly by covering the gap without damaging the existing signalling working gears/ wires. [All the materials required for the above work to be supplied by the contractor like cement, sand, nuts , bolts etc.] Total 3654150.62
