REPAIR / MAINT OF PUMPS, MOTORS, CONTROL PANELS, PUMP STARTER, UG CABLE INCL ALLIED WORKS AT NDA KHADAKWASLA

M&L for dismantling, overhauling, descaling, cleaning, inspection, reassembling, testing and commissioning of centrifugal raw water pump set installed at New Raw Water Pump House, Make – Kirloskar, Model – DSM 125/40, Capacity 180 HP, comprising the following works: a) Disconnecting pump from suction and delivery pipe connections, dismantling pump assembly complete including coupling, bearing housing, shaft sleeve, impeller, wearing rings and all other components. b) Thorough descaling, cleaning and removal of rust, sludge, deposits and foreign materials from casing, impeller, shaft, bearing housings and all internal parts by approved mechanical/chemical methods. c) Detailed inspection of all dismantled components for wear, erosion, corrosion, cracks, misalignment and serviceability. d) Reassembling the pump using existing serviceable components after cleaning and inspection. e) Providing and replacing gland packing, gaskets, O-rings, jointing materials, grease, lubricants and other consumables required for satisfactory operation. f) Replacement of unserviceable minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, split pins and similar items as directed by Engineer-in-Charge (excluding major spare parts such as shaft, impeller, bearings, wearing rings, casing and motor). g) Alignment of pump and motor, tightening of foundation bolts and restoration of all connections. h) Testing, trial run and commissioning of the pump set including checking suction and delivery pressure, vibration, bearing temperature, leakage, noise level and overall performance to achieve satisfactory operation. i) Complete job including labour, tools, tackles, lifting arrangements, consumables and transportation within plant premises, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Rate shall include dismantling, cleaning, inspection, reassembly, packing, gasket replacement, lubrication, testing and commissioning. Cost of major spare parts such as bearings, shaft, shaft sleeve, impeller, wear ring, mechanical seal, coupling and casing repairs, if found unserviceable during inspection, shall be paid separately as material and labour under relevant BOQ items after approval of Engineer-in-Charge."

M & L for replacement First Stage Impeller suitable for 180 HP Horizontal Split Casing Multistage Centrifugal Pump, Model DSM 125/40, manufactured from high-grade cast bronze/gunmetal (or as per OEM specification), dynamically balanced, accurately machined, keyed and fitted for mounting on pump shaft. The impeller shall be designed to deliver the rated discharge and head of the DSM 125/40 pump and shall include all necessary machining, balancing, testing, and fitting arrangements complete in all respects.
