Testing the cables with high voltage DC testing machine and locating the fault in the cables by fault locating machine to pin point exact position of fault, disconnecting faulty 33 KV HT cables of different sizes from both ends, removal of Fault, Re-connections and testing of cables after removal of fault complete all as specified and directed. Note-: (a) 33 KV HT cable & joints shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of schedule. (b) Retrieved old serviceable cable cover will be laid in trenches for cable protection. If extra PCC cover and sand required at site shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQs. (c) Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid for separately under respective items of schedule.

Supply and fix Cable jointing kit for 33 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of following size :-

Material and labour for emergency maintenance work of 33 KV overhead line during breakdown by deploying skilled labour and electricians at faulty site having Gang of minimum 6 persons and transportation including hydraulic machine and other tools and plant required at site for fault rectification. Note:- Contractor or his rep shall come to the site of breakdown within one hour of notification of breakdown. In case the rep or contractor shall not come to the site of breakdown and not starts attending breakdown within 1.00 hour a penalty of Rs 1000 per fault per hour will be imposed over contractor and will be deduct from his dues.

All as per Item No 4 here-in -before above but Gang of minimum 3 persons except hydraulic machine.

M&L in replacement of damage single/double /triple tension disc insulators and hardware fitting and fixing in position including tightening of bolts & nuts, complete after dismantling and lowering of damage conductor/disc insulator by taking tension of conductor on a separate arrangement including opening & providing of jumpers of 33 KV tension towers complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacement of damage single/ double /triple disc suspension disc insulator by re-arranging with good/new disc insulators after taking the load of conductor on alternate arrangement including proper clamping etc. as per site requirement of 33 KV tower complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for stretching/tightening of loose ACSR conductor including fixing of conductor accessories such as clamp etc as per site condition of Zebra/Dog/Goat/Panther/Wolf conductor of 33 KV lines complete all as specified and directed. Note : Length of indl conductor shall be measured.

M & L for Jointing of ACSR conductor of any type with mid span joint through compression joint machine of 33 KV lines complete all as specified and directed.

Trimming and cutting of tree branches(not more than 25mm girth) coming across 33 KV HT over head line clearing the line around 2m single/both sides and disposal of branches from site exceeding 50m and not exceeding 250m from site complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : - (i) Length of span is approx 200 to 225 RM. (ii) Due care is to be given while trimming/cutting the tree branches that there should no damage to over head line conductor/pole. In case due to any negligence, damage is caused to be make good/renewal by the contractor from his own resources and nothing extra is admissible. (iii) All Safety to labourer must be adhered by the contractor during trimming and cutting of tree branches.

Supplying and fixing , Stretching, Securing, Connecting & testing of Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) of size Zebra/Dog/Goat/Panther/Wolf for 33 KV lines/33 KV yard complete including taking out old unserviceable conductor complete all as directed.

Material & labour for repair /overhauling of OLTC ( On load tap changer ) of 33KV/11KV Power transformer of capacities 16/20 MVA at site by carrying out following work of BBL make :- (a) Opening of top plate of OLTC. (b) Draining out of transformers oil from the OLTC. (c) Stopping of leakage of oil from main shaft of OLTC including replacement of oil seal and all gasket of OLTC. (d) Checking/servicing of moving and fixed contact of OLTC and resistance test of contact. (e) Flushing of OLTC assembly with hot new oil and removing of sludge. (f) Filling of new transformer oil in OLTC . (g) Tightening of all tapping leads and connections. (h) Refixing of top plate of OLTC in original position after overhauling. (i) Electrical testing of manual/auto operation of OLTC. Note :- Transformer oil as required shall be measured and paid separately under respective item No 88 here-in-after as supply only.

Material & labour for repair/overhauling of OLTC (On load tap changer )/diverter switch of 33KV/11KV Power transformer of capacities 12/16 MVA at site by carrying out following work of NGEF make :- (a) Opening of top plate of OLTC. (b) Draining out of transformers oil from the OLTC. (c) Stopping of leakage of oil from main shaft of OLTC including replacement of oil seal and all gasket of OLTC. (d) Checking /servicing of moving and fixed contact of OLTC and resistance test of contact. (e) Flushing of OLTC assembly with hot new oil and removing of sludge. Material and labour for servicing /testing of line circuit breaker, control panel including outdoor CT, PT and relays in control panel of outdoor SF 6 Gas Circuit Breaker of capacity 1250/800 Amps and rating 36 KV complete as per details mentioned as under:- (a) Details of servicing of breaker :- (i) Checking of Closing/Tripping coil assembly (ii) Adjustment of mechanism if required. (iii) Clean the circuit breaker to remove dust and dirt. (iv) Apply a small amount of oil to rotary sections, sliding surfaces, pins, coupling section, etc.use grease for the operating shaft and bearings, and machine oil for other parts. (v) Check for rust and wear. (vi) Checking of spring charge mechanism (vii) Visual check for rust and deformation. (viii) Check for loosened bolts and nuts, broken spring washers and snap pins etc. (ix) Check for loosened connections, rust, damaged lead wires. (x) Checking of control circuit & tighten the connections if any. (xi) Check close & trip coil. (xii) Replacement of Dashpot/shock absorbers . (xiii) Replacement of carbon brush of spring charging motor (xiv) Cleaning of porcelain bushing (xv) Checking of limit switch

(b) The following test shall be carried out:- (i) Primary Injection Test of outdoor CT / PT (ii) Closing & Opening Timing Test for all three poles. (iii) IR Test with megger in open and closed condition. (iv) Contact resistance test for all three poles (v) Closing coil resistance (vi) Tripping coil resistance. (c) Testing of following relays of control panel with Secondary Injection Kit ,checking and programming of relay :- (i) Over current and earth fault relay (ii) Line differential relay (d) Testing of following Aux relay:- (i) DC Supply supervision relay. Material and labour for preparation of old painted surfaces of 33 KV Switch yard including all outer steel structures/ frame/gate of bus bay at Grid, having dimensions 54 m x 11.5m x 9.5m and steel housing of capacitor bank having dimension 6m x 4.4m x 4m (incluiding top closed) by brushing/cleaning stains, greasy spots with thinner, applying two coats of spray painting (synthetic enamel paint) with spraying machine in the yard including writing description of equipments in block English letters 100 mm high with white/black synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting power supply, preparation of old painted surfaces of steel by brushing/cleaning stain, greasy spots with thinner, applying two coats of spray painting (synthetic enamel paint) on all sides of 33 KV 16/20 MVA transformer and its accessories with spraying machine in the yard including writing description of equipment in block English letter 50 mm high with white/Black synthetic enamel paint and re-connection after painting complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 41 here-in -before but capacity of power transformer 16 MVA.

Material & labour for cleaning of the bay/yard (82.5 RM x 26.5 RM) manually without damaging any equipments, cable or parts of the 33 KV Grid bays, removing of dusts/grass/herbs etc all as directed by Engr -in-charge.

Material and labour for spreading of stone aggregate of nominal size not more than 40mm from the bay/yard manually without damaging any equipments, cable or parts of the 33 KV Grid bays, spreading & levelling of finished gravel uniformly in layers n. exc. 15 cm thick watered and rammed to true surface all as specified and directed

M & L for cutting and removing grass, vegetation bushes etc from inside boundary wall and outside boundary wall of 33/11 KV Sub Stn, around 33 KV towers and removing all rubbish to a distance not exceeding 50 m as directed.

M&L for Servicing & repairs to Air-break switch (isolator) off load, rotating type, 33 KV, 800 Amps to 1250 Amps capacity, with proper alignment of isolator rotating blades, with fixed contact jaws, arcing horns, applying petroleum jelly to moving mechanism, cleaning and lubricating to isolator gear box assembly, tightening all nuts, bolts and clamps of jumpers etc, repairing to isolator gear box assembly and making in proper serviceable condition for smooth functioning, testing and commissioning on load complete all as specified and directed.

Note :- (a) The unit rates quoted against this item shall be deemed to include the cost of excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, common salt & charcoal dust in alternate layers, PCC 1:3:6 type C2 as in pit, precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 with necessary reinforcement 6mm dia both ways as in cover & frame for pit, funnel, watering pipe 20 mm bore GI pipe light grade, protection pipe 40 mm bore GI pipe medium grade etc. (b) The quoted rates shall also deemed to include the cost of earth test point and earth strip/GI lead wire and protection pipe upto 7.5 meter beyond the earth plates electrode.

S&F steel structure with ISMB/Channel/Angle iron/flat, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers,welding, bending cold or hot,drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of synthetic enamel paint at 33 KV yard for fixing of isolator/CT/PT and for fixing of GO/DO etc complete as directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Supply and laying PVC insulated PVC sheathed cable galvanized steel strip or wire armoured electric control cables (Heavy duty) with stranded Copper conductor of size 2.5 sq mm 10 core 1100 Volts grade complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 62 above but 2.5 sqmm 6 core copper conductor.

M&L for Bore earthing 150 mm dia buried by vertical boring machine, depth 50 mtr below ground level using earth electrode 50mm dia GI pipe medium grade duly drilled hole of 12mm dia, 115mm C/C on both side of the pipe including lowering in bore well upto the depth of 49 mtr and one mtr above the ground level. The pipe electrode should be filled around commercial salt charcoal dust, copper sulphate and magnesium phosphate of 30 cm layer each upto the full length of pipe. The borewell should have 12 mtr of length 150mm dia MS pipe for protection of borewell. Welding of GI Strip 50mmx6mm on earth electrode GI Pipe 50mm dia upto 10mtr below ground level and 15 mtr from the bore well to test point gun metal and PCC foundation surrounding the borewell 60cmx60cmx30cm all as directed by Engr-in-charge. GI strip more than 25mtr will be measured and paid separately. Note :- Cost of gun metal test point deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Taking out of heavy duty cooling fan ,3 phase, 50 Hz of size 600mm form power transformer 33/11 KV of capacity 12/16 MVA ,servicing of the fan by opening including cleaning, greasing , replacement of defective spares parts such as bearing/ bushing, capacitor, canopy, clamp, blade, etc with new one and painting of fan body with synthetic enamel paint and re-assembling in same position after repairs and testing complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- (a) The cost of spare parts deemed to be included in quoted rates . (b) Rewinding of the fan will be measured and paid separately under respective item of schedule here-in-after.

All as per item No 65 here-in before but of size 450mm from power transformer 33/11 KV of capacity 16/20 MVA

Supplying, laying, jointing testing and connecting in replacement XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with multistranded aluminium conductors, 11 KV grade, IS 7098 marked, suitable for HT 11 KV(E) system laid in trenches fixed to pole, including jointing & testing of size 240 Sqmm 3 core complete all as specified and directed. Location : Khyber Grid to Manekshaw Centre Note for Item No 74,75 & 76 :- Excavation, earth work ,cable protection , sand fillings , cable joint shall be measured and paid separately under respective Item No 77 to 84.

(iv) Check for rust and wear. (v) Check Spring Tension and pitting of the Cluster Contacts. (vi) Visual check for rust and deformation. (vii) Check for loosened bolts and nuts, broken spring washers and snap pins etc. (viii) Check for loosened connections, rust, damaged lead wires. (ix) Check whether the contacts are damaged by arcing. (x) Checking of control circuit & tighten the connections if any. (xi) Check close & trip coil. (xii) Checking of Jaw Contacts Conditions and repair/adjust. (xiii) Replace the jaw contacts,If required. (xiv) Improvement of resistance of epoxy insulator and epoxy body by applying post heated varnish. (xv) Replacement of Dashpot/shock absorbers . (xvi) Replacement of carbon brush of spring charging motor

(b) The following test shall be carried out:- (i) Primary Injection Test of CT / PT (ii) Closing & Opening Timing Test for all three poles. (iii) IR Test with megger in open and closed condition. (iv) Contact resistance test for all three poles (v) Closing coil resistance (vi) Tripping coil resistance. (c) Testing of following relays of control panel with Secondary Injection Kit ,checking and programming of relay :- (i) Over current and earth fault relay (d) Testing of following Aux relay (i) DC Supply supervision relay. (ii) Master trip relay

Material & labour for repair /overhauling of OLTC ( On load tap changer ) of 33KV/11KV Power transformer of capacities 8/10 MVA at site by carried out following work of BBL make :- (a) Opening of top plate of OLTC. (b) Draining out of transformers oil from the OLTC. (c) Stopping of leakage of oil from main shaft of OLTC including replacement of oil seal and all gasket of OLTC. (d) Checking /servicing of moving and fixed contact of OLTC and resistance test of contact. (e) Flushing of OLTC assembly with hot new oil and removing of sludge. (f) Filling of new transformer oil in OLTC . (g) Tightening of all tapping leads and connections. (h) Refixing of top plate of OLTC in original position after overhauling. (i) Electrical testing of manual/auto operation of OLTC. Note :- Transformer oil as required shall be measured and paid separately under item No 88 here-in -before as supply only.

Material & labour for repair /servicing of marshalling box panel of 33KV/11KV Power transformer of capacities 8/10 MVA including following :- (a) Testing & repair to control wiring. (b) Testing of OTI, WTI gauge/ meter matching with OTI, WTI indicator in RTCC panel. (c) Testing of fuse/ MCB (d) Replacement of gaskets & locks including preparation of old painted surfaces of steel by brushing/cleaning stain, greasy spots with thinner, applying two coats of spray painting (synthetic enamel paint) on all sides of etc complete all as specified and directed.
