PROVISION OF ROAD AND ALLIED INFRA FOR ALL UNITS AT TANGTSE/ DURBUK (PH-III OF THREE PHASES) UNDER GE 860 EWS

Amount

Excavation over areas, not exceeding 1.5 m deep and getting out in hard/ dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation, pipes etc. and getting out in hard/dense soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soils not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for rolling and consolidating formation surfaces with power roller exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 12 tonne including filling (if required) in hollow and depressions, soft spots etc. which occur during rolling, watering as necessary and consolidating (for portion coming in cutting/original ground only) to required level, camber and gradient, keeping roller wheels wet etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for soling (or sub base) 200mm thick (spread thickness) with broken boulders (granite/ trap/ basalt stone) of size range 100mm to 150mm deposted, spread, leveled in one layer, interstices filled, surface formed, rolled and consolidated to achieve true surface and required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 150mm thick (Compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) in two layers of 75mm thick each layer, WMM grading as per table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for road and bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant, material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and bridge works 2013.

M & L for preparation of Unsurfaced Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) surface by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen (VG-10 grade) complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Premix Bituminous Macadam with 4% of binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen (VG-10 grade) laid, rolled and compacted (using 8 to 12 tonne vibromax power roller) to remove all voids and achieve true surface with required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with VG-10 grade bituminous primer at 5 kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen after necessary preparation of black top bituminous surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete carpet 40mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen (VG-10 grade) mixed in mechanical hot mixed plant and laid with mechanical self propelled paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne vibromax power roller to required compaction upto removal of complete voids and true surface is achieved complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc. not exc 10cm wide and 2.5 mm thick on road surfaces, using hot applied thermoplastic white or golden yellow colour road marking paint conforming to BS 3262-1989, mixed with radium glass beads @ 250gm/Sqm with special applicator machine to provide reflectivity and night vision (approximate temperature being 200 degree at the time of laying) including cleaning the surface of all dirt and other foreign materials, demarcation at site and control, complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of red, green and yellow reflector radium tape of 25mm wide strips with anti theft steel nut for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150X150X300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fixing cat eyes reflective type made of non breakable polycarbonate ABS body of size 100 mm X 100 mm X 20 mm with electronically welded prismatic retro reflective lens on centre for maximum reflection in wet and dry conditions fixed with and including MS studs of suitable size and bitumen adhesive B1-69 as per manufacturers instructions on bituminious road complete all as specified and directed. Note: The item shall be fitted by manufacture/company repersentative and the make shall be approved by GE before the exceution of work Model :- DA 972 of DARK EYE or equivalent as approved by GE Makes :- DARK EYE/ GINNEBOY/ YASH/ Future vista

M & L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in concrete bed to 200mm bore drain pipes including packing under and completely surrounding the pipe with concrete after they laid and tested complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and lay 200mm bore dia reinforced cement concrete pipes, class NP3, laid and jointed with collars, complete all as specified and as directed.

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective Cautionary /warning sign boards of equilateral triangular shape having each side of 900 mm with support length of 3650 mm and made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue and silver white or other colour combination including subject matter, message (bi-lingual), symbols and borders etc. as per IRC ; 67:2001, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to class -2 of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same with suitable sized aluminium alloy rivets @ 20 cm c/c to

back support frame of M.S. angle iron of size 25x25x3 mm along with theft resistant measures, mounted and fixed with 2 Nos. M.S. angles of size 35x35x5 mm to a vertical post made up to M.S. Tee section ISMT 50x50x6 mm welded with base plate of size 100x100x5 mm at the bottom end and including making holes in pipes, angles flats, providing & fixing M.S. message plate of required size, steel work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint of required shade and of approved brand & manufacture over priming coat of zinc chromate yellow primer (vertical MS-Tee support to be painted in black and white colours). Back side of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint over and including appropriate priming coat including all leads and lifts etc. complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

M & L for surface excavation not exceeding 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in hard/dense soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Spreading and levelling in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick and well ramming including watering as required complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for precast factory made kerb stone of size 450x150x200 mm, providing and laying at or near ground level of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line ,level and curvature , joined with cement mortar 1: 3 ( 1 cement and 3 course sand ) including making joints with or without grooves ( thickness of joint except at sharp curve shall not be more than 5 mm ) including making drainage opening where ever required complete all as specified and as directed.
