REPAIRS TO SOLAR WATER HEATER:

M & L in Replacement of Gl tubing medium grade 15mm bore with fitting , fixed to walls and ceilings or laid in floors complete all as specified and directed Make- Tata, Swastik, Jindal, Prakash, Surya.

S&F in replacement of GI coupling union 15 mm bore, ISI marked complete.

S&F Bib taps 15 mm , chromium plated fancy type cast copper alloy, screwed down, high pressure with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed down,screwed for iron pipe or for unions and fixed.

S&F Stop valves 15 mm , chromium plated fancy type cast copper alloy, screwed down, high pressure with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed both ends for iron pipe or for unions and fixed.

S&F in replacement of 16 mm external dia Chlorinated Poly Vinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipe consisting of high grade polymer effectively bonded in the inside and outside of an aluminium tube CPVC-AL-CPVC by melt adhesive(including joining/fixing with cement solvent) suitable for hot water supply from solar water heater to the bathrooms and fixed to wall, ceiling etc. including all materials, fittings and fixing works and testing of pipe line test for solvent cement joints and adhesive joints and testing of all materials shall be as per manufactures instructions, literature and confirming to IS-15450 : 2004 or ASTM -1282 including making good the disturbed surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Repair the unserviceable solar water heating system and de-scaling with auth agent and making serviceable by filling the Distilled water, cleaning the solar toughned glass, stopping the leackage with replacing the old unserviceable CPVC pipe/tee/bend/broken glass tubes etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note 1:- Distilled water, CPVC pipe /glass tubes,CPVC acessories will be measured and paid saperately in respective item. Note2 :- The contractor ensure that all materials/spares once the incorporated in the work, they should maintain warranty for the same through the contract period from the date of executing.

Supply only Distilled water in the Solar water Heating systems at different location and distilled water will be filled in existing distilled water pot connected on solar tank complete all as specified and directed at site Note :- Distilled water will be supplied in sealed containers.

S&F in replacement of heating element thread type 3.0 KW and fixed at solar water heater tank complete with 9" long thermostate veriable type complete with ISI Mark.As approved by GE

Taking down carefully existing storage type water heater (Geysers) of any make and capacity (25/50 litres) including disconnecting water connection (inlet and outlet) for repairing/painting etc and refixing the same and connecting up after cleaning, repairing & painting complete. Note 1 : (a) Defect developed while taking out the geysers, such as leaking of joints, damaging of thread of pipe/geyser and other GI fittings such as elbow, nipple, union, socket, etc shall be rectified/replaced by the contractor at his own cost. (b) Replacing the PVC connection, Heating element,thermostate and painting work shall be measured & paid separately. Note 2 :- The contractor ensure that all materials/spares once the incorporated in the work, they should maintain warranty for the same through the contract period from the date of executing.

M&L for Scrapping the old painted surfaces of geyser, cleaning and painting with two coats of white synthetic enamel paint over & including a coat of red oxide primer including writing MES No. with black paint with minimum 25 mm size of letters all as directed at site for 25 liters capacity geysers complete.

M&L for Taking out geyser inner tank from geyser body, 25 liter capacity making the tank leak proof by necessary brazing/welding work, repair to collar, testing for leakage and fixing back to the body with collar gasket complete.

All as per item No. 11 hereinbefore but geyser 50 liter capacity complete.

S&F in replacement of geyser inner tank made out of stainless steel sheet, minimum weight 1.20 kg suitable for 25 liter capacity geyser, including ‘O’ ring, coupling set, necessary drilling work, nuts, bolts, washers, etc complete.

All as per item No. 13 but suitable for geyser of capacity 50 liter and weight not less than 1.70 kg complete all as specified and directed at site.

S&F in replacement of apparatus plate assembly of brass complete with collar, gasket, in let, out let and housing for heating element, thermostat, thermal cut out and fixed to geyser of 25 liters capacity, including necessary drilling work, nut, bolts, washers etc complete.

All as per item No 15 but of 50 litres capacity geyser complete.

M&L for Checking the unserviceable geyser and making serviceable by replacing the thermostate/heating element, PVC connection etc as per site requirement and tightening the connection, adjusting the thermostat, checking the power point of geyser and making servicing by tightening/replacing screws/ replacing the small piece of wire, etc. complete.

Note 1 :- (a). Petty stores like insulation tape, screws, small piece of cable, etc shall be provided by the Contractor without any extra cost to the department.

Supply and fill gas charging in water cooler of any capacity with suitable refrigerant Gas not eceeding 1.0kg after fixing new compressor including replacement of filter strainer and testing on completion all as specified and directed.

M&L for detecting the cause of leakage , rectifying the same as per existing material , ensure the complete water cooler system leak proof and finally gas charging with suitable refrigerant gas not exceeding 1.0 kg for water cooler including testing for smooth functioning, complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only for disconnecting of existing electric connection and water connection of water cooler, opening the condensor fan motor blade, electrical accessories and other spare parts of system carefully and replace defective spare parts as required , oiling of fan motor etc., reassembling all spare parts including rewiring of internal connection of water cooler, re-connecting electric and water connection, testing and commissioning, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) Spare parts shall be measured and paid separately as 'Supply and fix' under respective items of this Schedule. (ii) Nut, bolts, washers etc as required for smooth functioning shall be provided and deemed to be included in unit rate quoted. (iii) Minor repair such as chassis by brazing / welding work shall be done and deemed to be included in unit rate quoted.
