Sch 'A' Part - I: (B/R WORKS. (RIGID PAVEMENT , FLEXIBLE PAVEMENT AND NON LOAD BEARING OF FLEXIBLE SURFACES) Demolition of cement concrete in dispersal area of Ground floor/ paving of any description and any position not otherwise specifically provided for paving (below or above ground level) all as specified and as directed.
Demolition of cement concrete in dispersal area of Ground floor/ paving of any description (Demolition of GSB, WMM,DLC other than cement concrete) and any position not otherwise specifically provided for paving (below or above ground level) all as specified and as directed.
Surface dressing not exceeding 15cm deep in hard / dense soil and getting out and disposing off the soil outside MD land all as directed. Note: This item will not be operated for areas covered under items 2 & 3 herein above.
Excavation over area not exc 1.50m deep and getting out in hard / dense soil all as specified and as directed.
Excavating in trenches n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil all as specified and as directed. Note:- Returning and will be measured under Serial Item No.48 of BOQ.
Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as directed.
All as per Serial Item No. 7 here - in - before, but to a distance exceeding 5KM outside MD land in consultation with BBMP Official ( Floor filling Material)/ debris/ Soils etc received from excavation and demolition and depositing at a level not exceeding 1.50m above the starting point all as specified and as directed.
Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting to the required gradient and camber including filling in depression and hollow, watering, levelling etc., complete using tandem vibratory/ power roller exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 12 tonne capacity all as specified and as directed. Note: Rolling and consolidation the formation surfaces to the required gradient and camber under optimum moisture conditions to achieve at least 98% of maximum dry density determined using modified proctor density determination method as per relevant IS code.
Stabilizing the soil obtained from outside MD land, breaking the oversized particles to required size adding cement @2% by weight of soil to be used in the item and water to the required quantity to maintain optimum moisture content of the soil mixture during consolidation, mixing the soil cement and water in a mechanical mixing plant to obtain homogeneous mixture, laying the soil mixtures in layers not exceedings 150mm thick for a total depth of 400mm, consolidating with suitable compacting plants such as vibratory roller etc under optimum moisture content to achieve atleast 98% of maximum dry density (Modified Proctor Density) and to achieve minimum soaked CBR value of 4.0 & K value of 3.0 details in accordance with relevant IS code of gradient etc complete all as specified. Note : - (a) Before execution of this item moorum/red bajri used for filling shall be tested/checked for suitability to use all as per relevant clause of SSR/IRC. (b) Cost of Moorum / Red bajri including transportation shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted under this item. (c) The quantity shall be worked out from initial level and final level and no deduction shall be made for bulkage from computed quantity

Granular Sub Base 300mm thick (compacted thickness) in two layers each layer of 150 mm (compacted thickness) with crushed stone aggregate and conforming to grading as specified, spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete using tandem vibratory roller exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 10 tonne capacity all as specified and directed.
Granular Sub Base 200mm thick (compacted thickness) in two layers each layer of 100 mm (compacted thickness) with crushed stone aggregate and conforming to grading as specified, spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete using tandem vibratory roller exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 10 tonne capacity all as specified and directed. Note for item No. 12 & 13: (i) Cost of rolling and compaction of filled granular sub-base is also deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted under this item. (ii) Each layer shall be rolled separately. (iii) Payment shall be made for solid quantity arrived after consolidation. (iv) Compaction of granular sub base filling shall be carried out under optimum moisture conditions to achieve 98% of modified proctor density. Curing of each layer shall be carried out as per IRC recommendations.
Note for item No 12 & 13 Contd.. (v) Quoted unit rate shall be for 300/200 mm consolidated thickness in two layers 150mm/100mm thick. (vi) Before execution of this item the approved material obtained from outside MD land shall be tested / checked for suitability to use. The lead/royalty involved is to be ascertained by the contractor before quoting his tender and no extra payment/adjustment for increase in lead or rate of royalty due to whatsoever reason shall be admissible on this account. (vii) Contractor can use vibratory earth compactor in lieu of power roller to achieve 98% modified proctor density (MPD) at OMC without any extra cost and method of compaction to be adopted as per recommendation of agency reporting max. density at OMC.
M&L Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) 225 mm thick (compacted thickness) minimum in three layers of 75mm each with coarse granite stone aggregate of specified grade, spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete using necessary mechanical paver/ grader and tandem vibrator of capacity exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 12 tonne capacity all as specified and as directed. Each layer shall be rolled and consolidated separately. WMM shall be as per MORTH specifications as detailed in particular specifications.

M&L Preparation of unsurfaced Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) by brushing with wire brushes for removing cracked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaced with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc all as specified and as directed..
M&L applying evenly a priming coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen @ 10Kg/10 Sqm over unsurfaced pavement all as directed.

Note: No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of cement than the minimum is used/ approved based on mix design in the execution of work under this item.

M &L for 360 mm thick Design Pavement Quality Cement concrete (PQC) of min flexural strength 45kg/cm2 with RMC using minimum cement content 400kg/Cum and as per design mix with non circular fibre synthetic reinforcement laying with mechanical slip form paver sensors including necessary form work at Joints/edges all as specified and as directed. Note: (a) Construction joints/ dummy (contraction joints) and expansion joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. (b) Deduction shall be made in computing concrete quantity for expansion joints. (c) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of cement than the minimum is used / approved based on mix design in the execution of work under this item. (d) Cost of admixtures to maintain as required by design mix is deemed to be included in the rate quoted.
Supply only Non circular, virgin, synthetic, monofilament polyester fibres of length 12mm to 18mm, specific gravity 1.34, UV stable, alkali resistant,equivalent diameter 15-40micron, minimum melting temperature 250 C and minimum tensile strength 300 Mpa be used up to 0.25% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer specification, in design. All properties/ specification to meet test parameters as per IS 16481 :2016 all as specified and directed
M&L Finishing surfaces of concrete pavements by transverse brooming / grooving of maximum 300mm wide by 1.50mm deep at approximately interval of 25mm c/c as per ICAO grooving / brooming will be through attachment in mechanical paver all as directed.
M/L Forming 20mm wide thick expansion joints for 360mm thickness of concrete(PQC) filled with preformed bituminous filler board , applying bond breaker tape on top of filler board for complete width of joint, provision of polystyrene backup rod, filled with polyurethene sealant (min depth of sealant above backup rod shall be 20mm) priming the slides and applying masking tape on edges of joints to prevent accidental spillage and removing the masking tape after sealant applied and all as specified as directed.
M&L for forming construction joints 28mm deepX 10mm wide (using diamond cutter) and provision of polystyrene backup rod and sealed with sealing compound polyurethene based sealant colpor 200/equivalent and debonding/strip/rod at bottom and coat of bituminous paint full depth of pavement and priming the sides and applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage on top surfaces and removing the masking tape after it is applied complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for Dummy (contraction) joints for 8mm deepX 6mm wide (using diamond cutter) filled with expanded polysterene foam applying bond breaker tape on top polyurthene foam for complete width of joint, provision of closed cell polystrene backup rod and sealed with 8mm thick sealing compound polyurethene based sealant colpor 200/equivalent and debonding /strip/rod (depth minimum above backup rod) priming the sides, masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied (grid of joint 4mX4m) all as specified and directed.
M&L for preparation of concrete/bituminous surface and applying two coats painting lines, dashes, arrow, letters etc on roads, Runway, pavement and like exc 10m wide with road marking paint (Aqua based paint) over a coat of primer (White or Golden Yellow colour) all as specified and as directed..

Each layer shall be rolled and consolidated separately. The marshall stability shall be a minimum of 900 Kg.DBM shall be as per MORTH specifications.

Each layer shall be rolled and consolidated separately. The marshall stability shall be a minimum of 900 Kg.DBM shall be as per MORTH specifications. Notes for serial Item No.32 & 33:(i) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder content is used / approved in the execution of work under this item. (ii) Each layer shall be rolled and consolidated separately. (iii) DBM shall be as per MORTH specification including minimum binder content mentioned therein and as detailed in Particular specification. (iv) Priming coat over WMM and tack coat between the layers shall be measured and paid separately under serial item No.18 & 19 of BOQ
S&F glass grid with Self adhesive glass grid of approved make having flexural strength of 100kN/sqm in both longitudinal and transverse directions conforming to ASTM 6637, ASTM D 276 and ASTM D 5261-92 specifications and impregnated with polymer modified bitumen, self sticking strength of 5 Kg/sqm with overlapping of 150mm in longitudinal direction and 100mm in transverse direction fixed by mechanical means and rolled by pneumatic tyred roller to form a good adhesive wrinkle free surface complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Gareware-Wall Ropes Limited conforming to requirement of BS EN ISO 9001-2000 or equivalent with non woven Geotextile for reinforcement and water proofing with residual bitumen 0.45liters per sqm and fully boned by applying pressure down wards. Note: Clear area only will be considered for payment & no extra shall be allowed for laps.
