Thus, only Class-I and class-II local supplier as defined under the Public Procurement (preference to Make in India) Order, 2017, as amended shall be eligible to bid in this tender. Offers from vendors who do not quality to be Class-I and class- II local supplier shall be summarily rejected and, therefore, such vendors should not participate in the tender. In case any vendor who does not qualify to be a Class-I and class-II local supplier for the tendered item participates in the tender, such a bidder does so at its own risk and cost and Railways shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused to the bidder on this account.
