Excavation in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and other intermediate classification of soil, setting out true to the required lines, grades width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the MORD technical specification clause 302,1602,1603 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of the road and transportation of un-useful material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus un-useful material to acquired width of the road or on approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animals transport or mechanical means alongwith its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and/or labour if required. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads and lifts. A recovery of useful stone for 1035.76 cubic metre @ Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only) per cubic metre shall be effected on pro-rata basis in each running bill from this item. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetra in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and MORD technical specification clause 305.1 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm ( one hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water ( surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge and carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying plain concrete mechanically mixed and vibrated in open foundations complete as per drawings nominal mix 1:5:10 (one cement: five sand: ten graded crushed stone) aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size including cost of form work and curing complete with out plum as per HP:PWD., MORD technical specification clause 800 and 1200 complete in all respect including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Back filling behind abutment ,wing walls and return walls complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 1204.3.8 granular material and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing weep holes in brick/stone masonry/ plain/ reinforced concrete abutment, wing walls, return walls, retaining walls and breast wall with 100mm( one hundred millimetre) dia PVC pipe finolex having pressure not less than 4kg.per centimetre square. (four kilograme) per centimetre square extending through the full width of the structures with slopes of I(V): 20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 614, 709, 1204.3.7 as per direction of Engineer- in -Charge, including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Filling in foundation trenches as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 305.3.9 earth filling (for marshy soil) cost of transportation of good quality earth has not been included. Only labour for carrying carted earth with a lead of 50mtr. (fifty metre) to the foundation pits has been taken in the rate. The cost of carted earth may be worked out separately if the same is not available from the adjoining area, as per drawing and technical specification as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials within all leads , lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying 900mm ( to level and slopes ) dia (nine hundred millimetre dia metre) reinforced cement concrete non pressure pipe I.S. class N.P.2 for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collars with cement mortar 1:2(one cement: two sand) but excluding the cost of excavation, protection work, back filling, concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 1101 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated cement concrete grade M-25 ( M- twenty five ) design mix with minimum cement content 404 kg /m3 ( four hundred four kilogramme per cubic meter ) in open foundation complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 802,803,1202 & 1203 and curing complete excluding the cost of form work and reinformcement for reinforced concrete work in foundation, and mass concrete etc. complete in all respect, as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying heavy duty precast cement concrete interlocking paver blocks vibro compacted upto M-50(M-fifty) grade including border or kurb block grey or coloured over sub base of concrete with 25mm (twenty five millimeters) thick average thickness of cement mortar 1:4 (one cement: four sand) laid over and jointed with neat cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of blocks including curing rubbing and polishing complete (sub base concrete) floor to be paid for 80mm( eighty millimeters) thick inter locking blocks of N.T.C make or its equivalent BIS certified blocks and as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge and MORD technical specification clause 1504 including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Preparation of sub grade by dressing to camber (Earth work for the cutting involved for sub-grade to be paid for separately depending upon the classification of soil completed as per HP:PWD., specification and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Consolidation of sub grade with road roller including making good the undulation etcetra with earth or quarry soil etcetra and rerolling the sub-grade completed as per HP:PWD., specifications and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Construction of gravel/soil aggregate sub-base/base by providing well graded material of nominal maximum size grading 80mm (eighty millimeters) as per table 2.3 of IRC SP 77-2008, spreading in uniform layers with tractor nount approprate grading arrangements on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method at OMC with tractor mount appropriate rotavator attachement and compaction with three wheel 80-100 (eighty-hundred) kN static roller capacity to achieve the desired density complete as per specification contained in para 2.2,3.6 and 3.7 of IRC SP 77-2008. as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge and MORD technical specification clause 402 including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing , laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of size 63mm to 45mm ( sixty three millimetre to forty five millimetre) Grading-II, 75mm (seventy five millimetre) consolidated thick to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness using template, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100KN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber applying and broaming, stone screening of size 11.2mm ( eleven point two millimetre) nominal size at the rate of 0.20cum ( zero point two zero cubic metre) and binding material at the rate of 0.06 cum ( zero point zero six cubic metre per ten square metre to fill up the interstices of course aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density of grading-II as per MORD technical specification clause 405( by manual means) as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing , laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specific sizes 53mm to 22.4 mm (fifty three millimetre into twenty two point four millimetre) to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness hand packing rolling with three wheel 80-100 KN static roller in stages to proper grade with camber applying and brooming stone screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate watering and compacting to the required density Grading –III as per MORD technical specification clause 405 by manual means and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge . The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer @ 0.70-1.00 kilogram (zero point seven zero to one point zero kilogram) per square metre using mechanical means as per MORD technical specification clause –502 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg.( zero point two five to zero point three zero kilogram) per square metre on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer and cleaned with hydraulic broom as per MORD technical specification clause 503 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying 25mm (twenty five millimeters) thick bituminous concrete with 100-120 (one hundred-one hundred twenty) TPH batch type hot mix plant producing on average output 75 (seventy five) tonnes per hour using curshed aggregates of specified grading-II premixed with bituminous with binder VG-10 @ 5.4 to 5.6 percent (five point four to five point six) percent of mix and filler i.e. 129.50kg. (one hundred twenty nine point fifty kilogram) per cubic metre, as per job mix formula transporting the hot mix to site of work, laying with hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No.507 complete in all respect including repair of pot holes (for which nothing shall be paid extra)as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Construction of road side V-shape drain of plain cement concrete nominal mix 1:3:6(one cement : three sand: six graded crushed stone aggregate 20mm (twenty millimetre) nominal size ) 10cm (ten centimetre) thick concrete and of 45x25cm (forty five into twenty five centimetre) size in accordance with the requirement of specification true to lines and grades dimensions and other particulars as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 1600,700,300 & 800 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.
