Construction of 40 m Ground based tower with RCC foundation and erection, BTS bed and barbed wire fencing at Taramati Baradari (HD2445), Ibrahimbagh, Hyderabad

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth, lead up to 50m and lift up to 1.5m,as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

a) All kinds of soil

a)Ordinary rock

b) Hard rock (blasting prohibited)

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

a)All kinds of soil.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m.

Extra for every additional lift of 1.5 m or part thereof in excavation /banking excavated or stacked materials.

a)All kinds of soil.

b)Ordinary or hard rock.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

a)1:1.5:3 (1 cement :1.5coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources :3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

b) 1:3:6 (1 cement :1.5coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources :3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

c)1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level :

a)1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for :

a) Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete

b)Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers

c) columns,pillars,piers,abutments,posts and struts

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level.

a)Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

Smooth finishing of the exposed surface of R.C.C. work with 6 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 Cement : 3 fine sand).

Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete. (Note: Item is operated for Horizontal gantry etc)

Structural steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required.

a) In gratings,frames,guard bar,ladder,railings,brackets,gates and similar works

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade :

a)New work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10 sqm)

Providing and fixing precoated galvanised iron profile sheets (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge) 0.50 mm (+ 0.05 %) total coated thickness with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineer in- charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /self tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade:

a)Two or more coats on new work (Note:Item is operated for Horizontal gantry etc.)

Supplying at site : R.C.C. Standards post/ struts/rails/ pales of mix 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 12.5 mm nominal size) with wooden plugs or 6mm bar nibs wherever required as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (cost of earth works in excavation, concrete works in foundation to be paid separately).

Fencing with R.C.C. post placed at required distance, embedded in cement concrete blocks, every 15th post, last but one end post and corner post shall be strutted on both sides and end post one side only, provided with horizontal lines and two diagonals of barbed wire weighing 9.38 kg per 100metres (minimum), between the two posts fitted and fixed with G.I. staples on wooden plugs or G.I. binding wire tied to 6 mm bar nibs fixed while casting the post (cost of R.C.C. posts, struts, earth work and concrete to be paid for separately) :- Payment to be made per metre cost of total length of barbed wire used.

a).With G.I. barbed wire

Mechanical transportation of dismantled 40 m GBT tower members comprising galvanised structural steel tubes, MS angles , flats , plates, pipes nuts and bolts etc of varying sizes and lengths from stores at Mahabubnagar to the work site. The Job includes cost of collection of all members with required lead and lifts , loading and unloading and stacking all the tower members at the proposed site of errection at Janakampet including all incidental charges etc all complete as directed by engineer in charge.

a)within the lead of 100.00 Km.

Providing and fixing anchor bolts of size 32mm dia mild steel bar of required length conforming to IS:2062 and EN 8 grade for fixing base of steel tower, threaded at top upto 150mm length and welded with lugs made from 100x100x10mm thick mild steel plate at 50mm from bottom including suitable hexagonal nuts 2 nos. (Nuts & Checknuts) and MS spring washer etc. all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge/as per approved drawing. All anchor bolts shall be oriented and fixed using template etc for each tower as per the drawing. Rate includes cost of necessary scaffolding arrangement etc all complete as directed by the Engineer -in-charge (Any base concrete will be measured seperately. Weight of anchor bolts including base plate,nuts&bolts shall be measured for payment)

Extra for providing Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in build up sections, trusses and framed work, consisting of Angles, Flats, Plates by fabricating to required size&shape and providing nuts & bolts of grade 5.6 with plain & spring washers including galvanisation as per approved drawing. The galvanizing shall be as per IS: 4759 with minimum mass of zinc coating of 610 gm/sqm . The steel sections shall be of M.S.grade 'A' as per IS: 2062. Cost of galvanization is inclusive all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge (Note: Item is operated for missing MS tower members including nuts and bolts of grade 5.6 or higher grade all as specified in the tower drawing as directed by Engineer in charge. Weight of structural steel members,nuts&bolts and washers provided as per written directions of EIC is measured for payment)

Erection of 40 mtrs height Ground based structural Steel Tower (Weight of tower approx. 8.35 MT) including hoisting, fixing as per approved Drawing No.TEC. GR/TWR-12/01, June 2005 with amendments issued if any with all its necessary components Viz climbing ladder, platforms with railing and fixing with bolts, nuts, plain and spring washers and proper tightening with Torque wrench. Cost includes necessary alteration /any mismatching holes to the members wherever required complete in all respect as per direction of the Engineer -in-charge (NOTE: Rate includes cost of all operations involved in hoisting/ erection of complete tower including providing necessary tools, plants and machineries , insurance to labour, safety net/ropes etc and satisfactory completion of acceptance testing all complete .Tower material shall be supplied by department at site at no cost .Fixing of anchor bolts and foundation concrete shall be paid seperately) Erection of tower including above operations is measured as one job.

Applying priming coat with one coat of ready mixed Zinc Chromate primer or equivalent of approved brand and manufacture for 40m Ground based tower (weight about 8.35MT) all complete as per directions of Engineer-In charge and the tower standard specifications . (Priming coat for entire tower with all above operations is measured as one job.)

Applying priming coat with one coat of Eitch primer (BISON wash primer or equivalent) approved brand and manufacture for 40m Ground based tower (weight about 8.35MT) all complete as per directions of Engineer-In charge and the tower standard specifications . (Etch Priming coat for entire tower with all above operations is measured as one job.)

Painting with High gloss synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade for 40m ground based tower (weight about 8.35MT). all complete as per directions of Engineer-In charge and the tower standard specifications . a) Two or more coats on new work. (Enamel painting for entire tower with all above operations is measured as one job.)

Mechanical transportation of BTS shelter(Approximate size 3.13X2.14X2.75m) materials including collecting, sorting from BSNL Stores at Nacharam or Charminar or any other compound within city of Hyderabad to the work site (approx. distance is 30 km) including loading, unloading,stacking in designated location etc all complete as directed by Engineer in charge. .

Providing and fixing anchor fasteners (expansion fasteners) of approved quality including drilling holes in RCC and fixing complete

a) 12 mm dia and 100mmm length

Providing and laying of 2.00 mm thick Antistatic polyvinyl chloride sheet of approved brand TUSKER or equivalent on a smooth and damp proof base using rubber based adhesives (viz. Dunlop 8753 or equivalent) including rolling with light wooden roller weighing about 5 kg all complete including providing 40 mm wide copper strip fixed to floors with rivets / nails where ever required as per manufacture specifications. The copper strip shall be provided along the periphery of the room leaving 200mm border and under all pvc sheet joints. The copper strip shall be exposed at required locations. The rate includes all materials specified above.

Erection of BTS shelter of (approximate size 3.13X2.14X2.75 m) including assembling, jointing the panels with pop up rivets, injecting the silicon sealant at panel joints and fixing to the bottom runners with SS nuts. Cost includes all labour charges , providing materials like Silicon sealant, pop up rivets and ss nuts , bolts of size M6X75mm etc. all complete. (BTS shelter material is supplied by the department at no cost)

Extra for galvanising with hot dip zinc coating the members of Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work confirming to IS 4759 with minimum mass of coating 610gm/sqm and zinc confirming to IS13229 as per directions of Engineer in charge(weight of galvanised steel members is measured for payment. Item is operated for Horizontal gantry etc.)
